Mobile Suit, Final Gundam Wing Fantasy: Before Episode Zero Crises

 

The coming of age ritual was a ritual that all young gods and demo gods had to take in order to be acknowledged as a true god or demo god. The ritual is to be reincarnated into one of the many mortal worlds that exist, grow up as a mortal with no memories of being anything but. The completion of this ritual comes when you fall in love with a person who in return would truly pass through the fires of hell for you and make the ultimate sacrifice.

 

The test teaches gods and demo gods many valuable lessons and skills which they bring back to their world. One of which is respect for mortals who go through hardships that were previously thought of as pathetic. If a god or demo god fails to complete this ritual then they forever remain in their mortal worlds and no matter their power, can never return home, in which case they end up dying as a mortal in the end. It is a ritual thought of as easy by some but by others it is the hardest challenge they have ever faced. This is the ritual that One Winged and Shinigami are currently participating in.

 

Shinigami's Story (Episode Zero with a twist)

 

L2 a.k.a. Sector 6, The Wall Market, the roughest, dirtiest, most fucked up place to exist on the planet. It is the slum of all slums, the ghetto, Golgotha. Not even the mafia bother to come to the place it's so horrible. It's full of drugs, violence, and stealing. The only job that thrives is prostitution or stealing from prostitutes or both most likely.

 

It is here that Shinigami is born. Born to a prostitute and one of her many customers, he was thrown out on the streets at the age of 2 after the war killed his foster mother. He learned to survive by his wits and, through shear will power, survive. At the age of 4, Shinigami, who currently called himself Kid, seeing as he had no name, met a very ambitious boy named Solo who decided to take Kid under his wing and into his gang of war orphans.

 

When Kid was nearly 7 the plague, which was also known as the mako poisoning epidemic, hit Midgar. It started with the malfunction of one of ShinRa's mako reactors and spread rapidly through the city. Being war orphans, and part of the lowest class of society there was no way for any of them to fight it. Almost all of them were wiped out and in the end Solo was infected. Kid, who in actuality had the opposite affect to mako, actually managed to get the vaccine. But by the time he made it back, all of the other orphans were dead and the Solo was too far gone for the vaccine to help. After this he took the name Duo and became the leader of Solo's gang of war orphans at the age of 7.

 

When he was 8 Duo was adopted by the Maxwell Church, which was run by Father Maxwell and Sister Helen and was the only place in the Sectors where flowers grew. It was here that Duo got his hair first braided, seeing as he refused to cut it. Duo lived a happy and peaceful life for 1 year at the church until one day; AVALANCHE had to use the church as a base after ShinRa attacked them. The peace was destroyed and Duo, hoping to reclaim it, agreed to risk his own life to steal some Materia from inside ShinRa HQ. Against incredible odds Duo managed to make it out with some alive, only to find the church in ruins and both Sister Helen and Father Helen dead. Blaming himself for causing the death of all he loved, Duo took the nickname Shinigami, and refused to never love another again.

 

Duo's path eventually led him to hide away in an AVALANCHE airship in which he was caught trying to steal food. Impressed at his stealth abilities a man named Professor G, after the well known Professor Gast, trained Duo to be an anti SOLDIER of sorts. The training was harsh and took many years but Duo completed it with flying colors. He was sent out into the world once again, at age 15, as AVALANCHE'S newest weapon, with the cover of a sweeper run by a man named Barret. This is Shinigami's story up to now…

 

One Winged Angel's story (Before Crisis with a twist)

One Winged Angel was born to Professor Hojo and Lucrecia of Shin-Ra. Before One Winged's birth, Hojo and Lucrecia were working as assistants to Professor Gast, Shin-Ra's top scientist, on the Jenova Project. The project studied the remains of an extra-terrestrial entity known as Jenova, which was thought to be one of the Cetra, an ancient people of the world.

Wishing to create a modern day Ancient and believing that the blood of the Cetra was what would do this, rather than the lifestyle of the Cetra, yet believing the procedure was too risky to attempt on a full grown human, Hojo, instead, injected the cells into his unborn son, inside Lucrecia's womb. This child was One Winged, who grew up to become Sephiroth, the ultimate SOLDIER. Sephiroth was never told of his origins, but only that his mother was a woman named "Jenova."

After his birth, Shin-Ra raised Sephiroth to be a supersoldier, and told him nothing of his actual parents except that his mother's name was "Jenova." He proved to be an incredibly strong and effective member of SOLDIER, gaining worldwide fame for his exploits such as his role in Midgar's victory against Wutai. He was later sent by the President Shinra to deal with the newly formed AVALANCHE when they raided Junon, and then went after the group when they "kidnapped" Professor Hojo. This is One Winged Angel's story up to now…
