Chapter 1

The End?

"Tidus! Don't leave me!! No!!" Yuna screamed as Tidus disappeared.

She ran towards the end of the ship were Tidus had leaped off to meet his fate and looked down. With tears in her eyes, she fell to her knees and cried. Wakka, Lulu, Kimahri, and Rikku were also crying (well, they had tears). Lulu was the first one to take action. She walked up to Yuna and put a hand on her shoulder.

After a couple minutes of silence, she said, "Come, Yuna. There's nothing else for us here."

"…" Was the reply. After a while, she said, " I won't move from this place until he comes back to me."

"That's ridiculous!!" exclaimed Lulu.

"Yuni! We have to accept that he's not coming back!" cried Rikku.

"He will!" she screamed and then said quietly, "I know he will…he just has to…"

"Tidus…never come back," said Kimahri, "It not possible."

"It is too, Kimahri!!" Yuna yelled, "And you know it!! Sir Auron came back!! Seymour too!"

"…Let's go eat, ya? We've had a long day," Wakka finally said.

"I'm not hungry!" declared Yuna.

Lulu just sighed, "You have to eat sometime, Yuna."

It had been two weeks since Tidus and Auron had disappeared and Yuna had been in the same spot, whistling.

"…"

"Here, Yuni. Please eat!" begged a worried Rikku.

Seeing her scared face, Yuna picked up the plate of food Rikku had brought her and ate.

"Kimhari knows Yuna misses Tidus," Kimahri said coming from behind them, "But Yuna must go on. It what Tidus want for Yuna."

She looked at Kimahri and said, "I guess so, but…"

"No but Yuna," said Wakka suddenly appearing, "Come inside and get some sleep, ya?"

"Yes, you don't want to get sick," said Lulu.

"…ok," Yuna finally replied.

She followed Lulu inside the ship and finally went to sleep.

The Next Morning

As soon as Rikku woke up the next morning, she heard a whistle. She got up and looked out. Yuna was whistling in the same place she was the night before.

"Ugh! That whistling is driving me crazy!" cried Lulu.

"How long have you been awake?" asked Rikku.

"Too long," she replied.

Rikku giggled, "Ok, I'll go try and make her stop."

"Thank you!" Lulu said with relief.

Rikku got up and headed towards where Yuna was.

"Yuna?"

Yuna didn't answer and kept whistling.

"Umm…can you stop whistling> You're driving Lulu crazy doing that," Rikku said uncertainly.

She stopped whistling, then turned towards Rikku.

"He's never coming back, is he?" she asked.

"I'm afraid not," replied Rikku softly, "I'm so sorry."

"It's ok," sniffed Yuna,

Suddenly, Rikku's father, Cid, came on the intercom.

"Rikku! Yuna! Get in now! We're speeding up to Besaid! There's trouble!" he yelled.

"Let's go!" Yuna said, wiping her tears away.

Together, they entered the ship and went up to the bridge.
