Chapter 2

Trouble in Besaid

"What's up?" asked Wakka as they entered the bridge.

"There's some kind of monster attacking Besaid and it's people," replied Cid.

"You mean a fiend?" said Lulu.

"No fiend," he said, "Like I said, a monster."

"Monster?" said Yuna.

"Yes! Brother! Go faster! Maximum speed!" he yelled.

"Got it!" was the reply.

Besaid

"Ahh!"

"Hahahaha!"

"Stop!" someone ordered.

"Wha?"

"Stop this! I'm Lady Summoner Yuna! I will not let you destroy this village!" Yuna yelled as she revealed herself to the monster before her.

The monster had beady black eyes and a body of a human except with green skin. She had black hair and a smirk on her face along with it.

"Oh, and you're going to stop me? Hahahaha! I am the dark warrior, Nappa! And I will not be defeated by pathetic mortals like you!" she yelled as she charged towards the heroes.

She swiped them with her long nails that had appeared just seconds ago. The group tried to block Nappa's attack, but all except Yuna were caught.

"Ack! Ok that's it! Take that!" Rikku cried as she threw a grenade at Nappa.

"Ohh!! That tickles! Hahahaha!" laughed Nappa.

"I bet you this won't tickle! Blizzaga!" cried Lulu.

"Okay, that's just cold," she said, still laughing, "I'll show you a real attack. Nature Whip!"

Vines raced towards the heroes and they only ducked just in time. Nappa let another bunch of vine attack them again and this time most of them got caught. Wakka, Lulu, and Rikku fell down. The green monster's nails grew long and longer, until they were as sharp as a knife. She swiped at them and all were injured. Nappa was going to attack again when someone stopped her.
