Sephiroth's Desire

Prologue:

The green field was expansive. Yes so large and beautiful, but if you were fool enough to continue the ground would turn brown and dead and for a great distance. The peace and beauty replaced by horridly deadened land and almost miles it continued till the earth blackened and you stood at the glorious city of Midgar. Not, oh so glorious is you ask me, they say not a single plant can grow in Midgar. The reason is the great Mako Reactors (electricity generators) drain the life from the earth around and the reactors were quite large. Each of the 8 reactors produced energy for the large city of death and destruction. The president of Shin-ra cared nothing for the land he just wanted money. He was so rich that he owned his own military forces, heck he owned everything! He was so incredibly rich he owned the whole world practically. But he was not going to keep it. He was unaware of the serpent that would destroy him, yet this serpent knew nothing of the threat that she was. She would play a key role in the fall of Shin-ra Co. The girl was not even of the same world, yet her hand would decide the fate of the world. Her red-brown hair was semi-long, she was probably no more than 19, how could a 19 year old change the fate of a world? By being a spirit detective. Yet she would be the downfall of another more sinister force. The ground became slightly green beneath her feet, she was like a goddess standing there giving life to what was dead, but she was a mere mortal girl.

She walked right to the entrance. "Hey, hold it!" a man with dark red hair said.

"Oh Reno. Do you and the Turks need something?"

"Oh it's you, why didn't you tell me you were coming?" said a curious Reno.

"I'll only be here a short time and did not want a lot of attention."

He opened the large gates of metal with a key card and sent her on her way. A man watched from the shadows, his silver hair hung thin and straight down his back.

`So exquisite. I must have her, she will be my queen when I take back what is rightfully mine.'
