Ch. 4: `The Dome'

Yusuke laughed. "Huh? I don't get it Urameshi, what's so funny?" Kiky glared at Yusuke, who kept laughing by the way. "S-Sakura!! That's a girl's name!!" Yusuke said between laughs. Sakura walked up a knocked Yusuke right up on the head with his staff. "Take that for girl!!" Yusuke backed away rubbing his head. "Of course it suits you just fine!!" He said laughing nervously. Everyone was laughing at Yusuke's misfortune, well, Hiei wasn't. "Right this way guys, I'll take you to The Dome!" All the detectives stopped laughing and Yusuke stopped rubbing his head. "Huh? The Dome?" "I'll explain on the way!"

The group walked out into jeeps that looked like they were off of Jurassic Park! The jeeps were gray and had `The Dome' written on each side of the car. There were two and they looked like they could six people in one. The hood was down and the seats in the back were facing each other. Sakura placed the detectives' belongings into one of the jeeps and everyone else jumped into the other. "So, what's this dome thing?" Kiky looked in the review mirror. "A club. And a laboratory. And my house. And a home for mythical creatures like black tigers, phoenixes, dragons, the works." Yusuke stared at her for a moment with an arched eyebrow. "Okay…. cool…." They arrived at a large round, and totally gray, building. When they went inside, it was much larger, or at least, this room was. It had a futuristic look to it. It was all white and had four or five couches around a large, clear table. There was a door in front of them. Kiky said it led to the bio-dome: A very big, round, glass greenhouse where the animals lived. They were each assigned a room and went to set out their things. Afterwards, Kurama, Hiei, Yusuke, Kuwabara, Ramza, Sakura, and Kiky went into the bio-dome part of the house. They walked into a gray, metal-like, small room. The door behind them closed and the one ahead opened. It was `awesome' as Yusuke put it.

Plants, trees, butterflies, and a few other things the gang had never seen before, surrounded the glass from the inside. "Make yourselves at home, just don't touch the black tiger we got. Oh! Before you do that, come meet the Dragon Mother! C'mon!" They followed her, with the exception of Hiei and Sakura. Kiky reached a large temple with dragon statues on each side of the temple. They went inside and saw a large white dragon look up at them. It seemed to have a huge red gem on its forehead. "This is Mala-Shae! She's my favorite dragon!" Yusuke was the first to walk up, right when Mala yawned and showed rows of glistening white teeth as sharp as daggers! "Careful Urameshi, it might not be friendly." Yusuke nodded and turned back to the dragon. Surprisingly, she let him stroke her head. "Cool…." "See? Mala would never hurt anyone!" Soon they were all petting the dragon and admiring it.

Back with Hiei and Sakura. "Why are you following me?" Sakura turned around and came face-to-face with everyone's favorite fire demon. "Where are you going?" Sakura turned back around. "That none of you business, Hiei." He said over his shoulder, and then continued walking. "What are you? Some kind of Frankenstein creator or something?" Sakura didn't respond to Hiei's remarks. They both entered a huge room with super computers where ever you look. There was a small computer chip in the middle of the room, being held be a robotic claw. Some sort of blue light was coming down from the ceiling and then down to the chip. It looked to be in a sort of glass liquid. "Don't touch that." Sakura said as Hiei reached his hand out. "Why?" Sakura turned to one computer that looked hooked up to the claw. "Want to go to Hell early?" Hiei brought his hand back and sighed. "You know, we have a lot in common." A voice sounded down to them. "Dinner!"

After dinner, Kimmy was still dressed in her apron and cooking spoon. "I like this outfit!" Yusuke, Kuwabara, Kurama, Hiei, Sakura, Haiti, Ramza, and Kiky were sitting on the couches. "So, what does the radar say Sakura?" Sakura printed out a map a looked at it. Then he turned it upside down and to the side. "I'm a professional hacker and yet I can't make heads or tails of this thing!" Yusuke snatched the map and handed it to Kurama. "Well, I can read it. Let's go."

M.Z.- Oy! Sorry for the short chapter! I just realized I got writer's block!

Joey- Then go home an kill ya computer!

M.Z.- I can't do that! We don't have any daggers at my house! Want to come over Ky?

Ky- O.O Uh, no not really….
