Final Fantasy - All Series Fan Fiction ❯ Cloud (Demon Chaser) ❯ First Thoughts ( Chapter 2 )

I do not own the Final Fantasy characters. I just use them in my story.

First Thoughts:

Cloud was all equipped for his mission as being a demon hunter. He kept waiting for Aeris to figure out what to do with him as a worker. Aeris finally got an idea, she would tell him about herself in the promise land so Cloud could get use to it. Aeris finally went to where Cloud was sitting. She sat by him and sighed. Cloud turned at her and looked back. He didn't know if he would ever stop Sephiroth.

"Cloud I have something to tell you. You know I am a Cetra. I have to remain here for a while so this could stop. If I came back and Sephiroth was alive, I would die again." She came closer even though she was 2 feet away from him. "You have to understand. I love you too but I can't right now. This and that world has to be saved."

Cloud got up and drew his sword. "I will defeat these creatures who have stop you from loving me." Cloud put his sword back and came closer to Aeris and looked at her straight in the eye. Cloud grabbed Aeris and tightened his grip.

"Cloud what are you doing to me? Please let go." Aeris tried to get Cloud's hands off of her shoulders. Aeris struck Cloud so he would move back. "What the hell is wrong with you?"

Cloud let go and shook his head and replied, "I don't know, it just happened all of the sudden." Cloud was in a weird state because of his love his muscles were tight and his breath was hard. "I'm sorry I just don't know what came over me."

Aeris looked straight into his eyes. Cloud's mako energy was very visible in his eyes. She started to walk away and said; "Being dead must make your Mako energy uncontrollable inside." Aeris was surprised at Cloud's reaction. Cloud took off his shirt and saw a green scar on his chest.

Cloud was totally shocked in the sight and put his shirt over his pain. "That is where I stabbed myself Aeris, I don't know what is happening." Cloud started to look down to the grass and thought things out. "Maybe it is love for you. You were not with me for a year and being here might has caused the reaction."

Aeris started to cry and fell to the ground. "Cloud I am so sorry I left in such a short notice." Aeris sniveled, got up, and ran away.

"Wait, I want to come with you and help." Cloud started to run after her when a large explosion occurred. He stopped in his tracks to find a giant demon in the smoke. The Demon looked at Cloud and jumped in front of him. Cloud saw Aeris on the ground with many bloody gashes. "Aeris; this monster will pay." Cloud drew his sword and jumped at the beast. The Beast roared and slashed Cloud in the face. It seems that Cloud had to sharpen his skills again. Cloud on the ground was breathing very hard after the blow. He, at the last second threw a sword into the beast's head. The thing roared and pulled the sword out of his head and tossed it away. The monster stomped on Cloud's body over and over. Cloud losing his life fast, was not going to live and save Aeris. The monster looked at Cloud's eyes and saw the mako energy turning his eyes totally white. Cloud grabbed the creature's feet and threw it in the air. In a couple of seconds he grabbed his sword and did a Cross-Slash on the monster freezing it. Cloud with his eyes still white used his Climhazzard and cut the beast in half. Cloud fell to the ground panting with his eyes returning to the normal color. He had defeated the demonic beast and ran to Aeris. She was missing and a note was left. The note said: I have captured Aeris; you will never defeat all of my demons in time to save your girlfriend you Mako child.

Cloud saw a portal. He then picked up his bag and ran inside to find Aeris before it is to late and what does that monster have planned for her.

Hope you like it. Pretty interesting that Cloud, even dead has Mako energy. In fact, it maybe stronger. I will right more if I get 40 visits. And please check out my other story "Demonic Spirit." Thank you.
