Ch. 5- The Surge

*At the camp, while all of this was going on *

Rikku: I'm so bored! When are they going to get back?

Tidus: How am I supposed to know?

Kimahri: (to Rikku) Sit. Shut up. Wait.

Rikku: You shut up, Kimahri! I'm going into Ren-Okye's tent now! Bye!

Wakka: Hold it! (grabs Rikku's arm) You're not supposed to touch Ren-Okye's backpack!

Rikku: What makes you think I'm going to do that? I'm just going to take a look around.

Lulu: Starting with Ren-Okye's stuff.

Rikku: Hey! I wasn't going to do it! (makes Wakka let go of her)

Tidus: Face it, Rikku. We all know what you were going to do and you know it. Admit it.

Rikku: Fine! I was going to see what was so important in the backpack that was off limits.

Kimahri: Why?

Rikku: I'm curious! Besides, Ren-Okye said not to do it, so I'm doing the opposite. You're supposed to do that!

Tidus: Good point! (gets up and they both go into Ren-Okye's tent)

Yuna: Aren't we going to stop them?

Wakka: Nah. Let' em get what's comin' to them. I wanna see what happens when those three come back and find out, ya?

Lulu: Same here.

Auron: As do I.

Kimahri: (nods in agreement)

Yuna: All right.

*In Ren-Okye's tent *

Tidus: Here's the backpack! (unzips it) Wow!

Rikku: What? Let me see! (looks into backpack) Whoa!

Tidus: Look at all this stuff! (starts pulling random items out) How can she fit all of this in here? Some blankets, books, a picture of some people and a rabbit? Hey! That one person looks kind of like Auron! Weird looking things! On the back it says 'Our muses and daemons'. Oh well. (puts it back in) A stereo, a Playstation 2, and a cd! I think it might be a game of some sort. It's called 'Final Fantasy X'! (Hehe) It doesn't have a picture on the case.

Rikku: Who cares? (pulls out a bottle of green liquid) Ooohh! I wonder what this stuff is!

Tidus: Read the label.

Rikku: Oh! (reading) Surge Property of Aseku. DO NOT TOUCH! If you touch it, I will kill you! (stops reading) Let's try some!

Tidus: Are you stupid?! It says 'DO NOT TOUCH'! Aseku will kill us if we drink it!

Rikku: How is she going to find out if she doesn't catch us in the act?

Tidus: We tell her?

Rikku: Which we won't do.

Tidus: (sighs) Fine.

Rikku: Yay! (takes a drink)

Tidus: Bottoms up! (takes a drink)

*Outside of the tent and around the campfire *

Kimahri: Kimahri sees someone.

Wakka: It's the girls! I thought that I was going to starve! (looks at the load) Wow! Look at the Zu! There are four of them! The girls even found a horse to carry that big one!

Yuna: I wonder where they found that horse?

Azdio: We brought back three Zu! You'll have to wait a bit longer because we have to cook them.

Wakka: Three? I thought it was four! What about the one on the horse? (points to Solaris)

Solaris: (pulls down hood) You thought that I was a Zu?! You are such an idiot! You really need to get your eyes checked!

Wakka: (jumps back and points to her again) What? She's not a Zu!

Solaris: (sarcastically) Gee, how'd you know? Anyways, I'm Solaris. (gets off of horse and ties it to a nearby post)

Wakka: (puts hand behind head) Sorry about that, ya? I'm just really hungry.

Solaris: Whatever. C'mon, let's go cook these before they starve.

*20 minutes *

All: (eating fried Zu)

Wakka: (between bites) Tastes like chicken.

Lulu: (watching Aseku, Azdio, and Ren-Okye) Look at them go!

Solaris: I know! (pulls out a stop watch)

Wakka: (stops eating) You're using machina! Aaaahhh! That's forbidden!

Aseku: Relax, Wakka! It's not going to hurt anybody!

Azdio: Besides, we're not Yevonites! Don't protest! Or else we won't let you eat any more Zu!

Wakka: (continues eating)

Solaris: Okay guys! Let's see who'll win this time! Ready, set, EAT! (pushes start button)

Yuna: Wow! They're really going at it!

Solaris: I'm used to it.

Wakka: They're really packing it in!

Solaris: This is nothing! You should see how fast they are when they haven't eaten in two days!

Auron: Have you seen it?

Solaris: Yup! The first time we met! They were wandering around the desert looking for food and water. They were saying 'Food… food, water… water, cake… ice cream… cookies' over and over again. I found them and gave them food and water.

Ren-Okye: (stops eating) I'm full!

Solaris: 5 minutes and 55 seconds!

*10 minutes later *

Azdio: (stops eating) That was great!

Solaris: 15 minutes and 55 seconds!

*20 minutes and 5 seconds later *

Aseku: (stops eating) Done!

Solaris: We have a winner! 36 minutes!

Wakka: (picks jaw up off the ground) Holy crap! That's a lot of food for one person to eat!

Ren-Okye: We didn't introduce them! (points to each person) Solaris, meet Yuna, Wakka, Auron, Kimahri, Lulu, Tid…

Aseku: Where are Tidus and Rikku?

Rikku + Tidus: (comes jumping out of Ren-Okye's tent) We'rerighthere!

Rikku: (goes over and shakes Solaris's hand like crazy) Hihihi! I'mRikku!

Tidus: (goes over and shakes Solaris's other hand like crazy) I'mTidus!

Solaris: (pulls hands away) What's up with you?!

Auron: Oh no! They're hyper again!

Aseku: Tidus. Rikku. How did you get hyper again? Did you touch something you weren't supposed to?

Tidus + Rikku: (jumping up and down) WedrankSurge!

Aseku: (getting mad) How much did you drink?
