'The awakening'

Deep down in the bowls of Balamb Garden, it awaoke. It had been asleep for centuries on end, but now it was awake. Shifting from its hiding place, swiftly and silently as a shadow, he whipped into the noiseless depths of a new dim crevice, closer to the elevator shaft. At the slightest sense of power, the row of spikes that raced down its baack quivered, the exposed patch of tendons on its thighs tensed, it was ready to any necessary action. After the power had passed, it once again relaxed, then bolted headlong into the deep, darkness, in search of energy to fuel its attac. It was almost time.
