He knelt down on one knee and proposed to me… It should have been the happiest moment of my life… except… the next day, I was kidnapped by Kuja and his minions… They ruined my wedding… they ruined my chance to be with Zidane… they… will… pay.
 
Princess Garnet awoke in a room that she didn't recognize. Her hands were bound tightly and her mouth was gagged.
 
She looked down at the engagement ring on her finger and sighed.
 
She missed Zidane.
 
Where the hell did they take her?! Those bastards! They kidnapped Dagger… They kidnapped my fricken fiancée!!
 
Zidane paced around his room, fuming.
 
This wasn't supposed to happen! It was supposed to be over! He's supposed to be dead!
 
“Dagger…” he muttered, “I'll save you… no matter what… I'll kill whoever has you captive… I promise you that…”
 
Flashback:
 
“Do you like this dress, Zidane?”
“I don't care about the damn dress… I care about you… I don't want you to go back to Alexandria… because I can't go there with you…”
“There's no other way…”
“What if… we ran away… somewhere we could be alone for one second… with out Steiner… without Beatrice… without all of those people you have to watch over…”
“What are you saying?”
“I'm saying that I love you and I want to be with you…”
“That's very sweet… but I can't just abandon my people… they depend on me…”
“But…”
“I'm so sorry Zidane…”
“………”
“Don't look at me like that… it's not my fault…”
“But… what if-,”
“There aren't any `what ifs'… I have to be loyal to the populance…”
“Then… if I can't come to Alexandria as a bandit… what if I came to Alexandria as your husband, then?”

“Dagger… Princess Garnet… will you marry me?”
