Kuja walked into the room and undid the gag over princess Garnet's mouth.
 
“That better, Dagger?”
“It's princess Garnet from you…”
“Very well…”
She spat at him.
“Not very hospitable are you?” he asked, chuckling.
“I could say the same to you…”
He smiled and looked at Garnet's clenched hand. Something shone on her ring finger and he bent down to look at it.
“An… engagement ring?” he asked.
She stayed silent.
“Let me guess… Zidane proposed then?”
He ignored her silent loathing.
“Oh… this is perfect! I just kidnapped the princess who is, in fact, engaged to a mangy old monkey.”
She didn't even blink.
 
Dammit… I have to get outta here… I'm gonna go insane…If only that stupid Steiner would let me outta this room!
 
“Steiner!” Zidane yelled, banging at the door.
“Yes?”
“Lemme outta here!!!!!!!”
“I'm sorry, I cannot comply… I'm under strict orders to keep you in this room, safe and sound.”
“Since when did you care if I was safe or not?”
“Since… umm… I- gotta go!”
“Hey! Wait!”
Steiner was already gone.
“Great…” Zidane muttered. “I'll never get outta here…”
He went to open the window and sighed. Even the window had a lock on it. They really didn't want him to leave the castle…
The sea was beautiful. Zidane wanted more than anything to swim in those waves to his bride… To hold her… to embrace her and never let go…
He sighed again. He had to get his hands on a key or something…He had to get out of there… to save his bride from whatever Kuja was doing to her…
