Garnet cried softly. She felt so alone. She felt so used. If only she had listened to Zidane and accepted his run away idea…
Now was kinda late though…
 
Flashback:
 
“Zidane… are you okay with me going back to Alexandria?”
“Yes… as long as I know that I can come back…”
“You're always welcome there…”
“Then, yes, I'm fine with you going…”
“Oh, Zidane…”
She hugged him close.
He kissed her softly.
She would remember that kiss forever…
 
Garnet sobbed again.
Her wrists were tied up. Her mouth was gagged.
The only pain that she felt was the pain in her heart.
 
Zidane seemed to fall forever.
Suddenly, the ground came up to meet him and he closed his eyes.
He didn't feel the ground. He felt a soft landing.
Zidane opened his eyes and found himself on a ship.
The Hilda Garde 2.
He laughed and stood up. Vivi, Freya, Eiko, Quina and Amarant were looking down at him.
“Guys…” he sniffled.
“Hey, don't cry on us, Zidane…” Freya said.
He smiled and couldn't hide the happiness in his heart.
 
Cloud kneeled down beside Tifa's bed and sighed deeply. She was so beautiful. It made him even happier with his decision.
“Tifa…” he whispered.
She stirred and rolled over in the bed.
“C-cloud?” she yawned. “What's up?”
He smiled and reached into his pocket, pulling out the ring.
Tifa gasped and hugged him. He didn't need to say anything else.
Cloud smiled and put the ring on her finger.
She laughed and kissed him on the lips passionately.
 
 
Flashback:
 
“Zidane?” Freya asked.
“Yes?”
“You love her, don't you?”
“Of course I love her…”
“Then why are you still here? Her ship's leaving in half an hour… you'll have to propose now-or never…”
“But- what if she doesn't return my feelings?”
“She loves you too, are you kidding?”
“But-,”
“Go! Before it's too late!”
 
Zidane smiled at the memory. Freya had put them together… even though she loved Zidane… she let him propose to Garnet…
