DemonGirl-Setsuna: Hi there! Setsuna here!

Well, I originally planned to have Yoko be the one playing the piano and have Vincent hear her playing his theme, but decided to have Vincent be the one playing so that he would have a talent that wasn't related to his past job as a Turk.

I said I was going to get a clip of Vincent's theme and here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k9vAqDwkvUg
For those of you who can't get onto `YouTube' here is the game version: http://www.angelfire.com/al2/coolgamemusic/images/7Baseme ntoftheShinraM.mid

Side-Note: I got myself a PSP and brought `Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core' for it, and I'm glad to say it is pretty damn good!

Anyway…

Here is Chapter 15!

Please Enjoy!

Disclaimer: I don't own Final Fantasy VII. But I've been playing my copy of the game and I'm on the third disc now!

Three Hours Later…
-Cruise Suite 118-

Yoko sits in a chair beside a lamp with an open book in her lap her head was pointed downwards towards it as her reddish-brown eyes went back and forth while she quietly read to herself.

Knock-knock!, came the sound on the door.

“It's open!”, she calls out, not glancing up from the book as she heard the door open.

“Yoko?”, she heard a male's voice question.

“Vincent…”, she says, looking up and places a book-mark in-between the pages she was reading, closing the book, “I wasn't expecting you…”, she adds, as she watches the ex-Turk close the door behind himself, “Take a seat”, she offers, motioning towards the other chair.

“Is that a good book?”, he asks.

“It's interesting…”, she replies, placing the black-leather bound book onto the side table beside her, on top of a white-leather one, “It was left behind by my father… The white one belonged to my mother…”, she sadly states.

“Oh, I see… It's good to have mementoes from our loved ones…”, he mournfully says, “Do you have one from Saiyuki?”

“Yes, I do”, she answers, touching the black-gem that hung on the silver-chain around her neck, “She gave me this necklace 18 years ago…”

“I wish I had something like that from Lucrecia…”, he woefully mutters, “But all I have is me still being alive…”

“Don't criticize her gift, hers is even better than all of mine combined”, Yoko reassures, reaching over to touch the back of his hand, “Because if she hadn't, you wouldn't have made the friends you did, avenged your death and Lucrecia's honor, or saved the world from Deep Ground, and if she hadn't saved you, I would have never had a chance to meet you”

“What…?', he gasps, looking up and into her eyes.

“And I wouldn't have been able to help you with your mental-demons”, she adds, with a gentle smile, “Because if I didn't, you'd still see yourself as a monster instead of a human who made a lot of bad choices in his life…”

“Yoko…”

The melody of piano, violin, and flutes suddenly begins to play in the room.

(A/N: Here is a link to Yoko's cell-phone ring-tone: http://www.finalfantasynetwork.com/games/dirge-of-cerb erus/ost/118.mp3)

“Oh! That's me!”, she says, standing up to pick up the red flip cell-phone off of the bed, “Hello?”

(Yoko! It's me, Ruvie!), her friend exclaims.

“Ruvie?! What is the reason for calling?”, she asks, “If you wanted to talk to me, you'd usually have Pixie tell me to call you”

(Well, Pixie told me something about what you were doing a few hours ago…), Ruvie sing-songs.

“W-what…? What are you talking about?”

(Pixie saw you and Vincent sitting all cozy during a piano lesson), the younger woman states.

Yoko's face instantly turns bright-red, “It wasn't like that at all! Ruvie, don't go telling the others about this or…or…or I'll never forgive you!”

(Don't worry Yoko, I won't tell them. You're secret is safe with me), she laughs.

“Thank you, Ruvie…”, the singers sighs.

(Don't mention it. I'll call you later, Yoko!)

“Later!”, Yoko replies, hanging up, “It seems a little robotic-spy saw our piano-lesson today”, she informs the ex-Turk, as she puts her phone into her pants-pocket.

“It's alright, we weren't doing anything inappropriate…”, Vincent shrugs.

“You're right…”, she says, putting her books back into her bag, “I don't know why I panicked…”

(This is your Captain speaking, dinner is now being served in the dinning-hall…), the PA-system announces.

“We might as well go, before our `heroic' leader comes to get us”, Yoko sarcastically remarks, rolling her eyes.

“She a mix of both her parents…”, he groans.

“Oh yeah, you had traveled with them”, she recalls, “You'll have to tell me about your adventures sometime, I really want to hear them”

“Sure, I don't mind…”

-Dining Hall-

“Isn't this romantic, Zack?”, Nicole asks, cuddling up against him as they sat at a table.

“Ah! Nicole, give me some space! I can't eat with you sitting so close!”, he shouts, pushing her away.

“Aw, but Zacky I don't get a lot of chances to eat with you…”, she pouts.

“You can eat at the table with me, just let me have room”

“Thank you!”, she squeals.

“Nicole…”, Renji groans, shaking his head, “All those etiquette-classes and it all goes out the window when she's around Zack…”

“Well, what do expect? She's a fifth-teen year old girl in love”, Jessie says.

“Funny coming from a girl who doesn't have a boyfriend or a crush herself”, the Turk-trainee snickers.

“H-how…?”

“Zack told me all about it in the hotel-room”

“I am going to kill him…”, the female-twin growls from behind clenched teeth, storming over to where her brother sat, sitting down pretending to be calm, “Oh crap, I forgot to grab some dessert! Do you think you could grab a slice of cake from the dessert-table for me, Nicole?”, she politely requests.

“Sure thing, Jessie”, the younger girl nods, scampering away.

“So Zack, sharing my personal life with Renji, huh?”, she flatly states.

He flinches in realization that she busted him.

“You shouldn't be criticizing me, since you're the one who can't admit that you've developed a crush on Nicole”

“That isn't true!”

“Oh really, I saw you and Nicole together last night, Zack. And love may be blind but neighbors aren't, brother!”, Jessie states, “My, you're looking a little parched little-brother. Here, have some of my cola”, she smirks, as she dumps the contents of her cup onto his head.

“Jessie!”, he shouts, quickly standing up, “Well since you're being so generous, have some of my soda!”, he growls, chucking his glasses of soda at her, drenching her in the sugary-substance.

“Zack Strife! I'm going to kill you!”, she screams, raising her arms up to charge and tackle him, but…

“Hey Jessie, I found chocolate-cake with peanut-butter frosting…”, Nicole says, returning to the table holding the plated cake in her hands, until Jessie's quickly-raised arm sends the cake flying into the air.

The pastry soars through the air and the frosting lands face-down onto a head of mid-night black hair, reddish-brown eyes follow a glob of frosting trail down a clump of bangs. The unfortunate victim of the pastry-dive-bomb was poor Yoko with Vincent standing beside her as a witness.

“Just great…”, the singer groans, “I wasn't planning on taking a shower until tomorrow night, there goes that idea…”

“Are you alright, Yoko?”, Nicole questions, rushing to the caked-singer.

“I'm fine Nicole…”, she replies, walking past the worried teen, “I can see why the two of you are called the strife-twins…”, she remarks, removing the slice of cake from the top of her head, “You're both constantly fighting!”, she retorts, smashing the cake into both of their faces before turning around and briskly walks from the room.

“Oh my…”, Nicole gasps.

“Short-tempered as always…”, Pixie sighs, shaking her head.

“So how is the cake and soda?”, Renji sarcastically asks.

Zack wipes the cake of his face, “You're the one who started it, Renji!”, he spat.

“My brother's right! It was you who started it!”, Jessie agrees, wiping the cake from her own face, gathering the remnants in her hand and throws it at the Turk-trainee, hitting him square in the face spattering all over him.

“This means war!”, Renji declares, chucking a bowl of applesauce at the acclaimed-leader as a chunk of cake oozes down his red-hair.

Vincent stands there sweat-dropping at the younger group-members infantile-behavior while Nicole screamed shielding her head from the flying food as she ran for cover and Pixie just hovered slumped in the air shaking her head is disappointment.

`Yuffie wasn't this bad…', Vincent sighs in his head, as he narrowly misses being hit by flying gelatin.

DemonGirl-Setsuna: Well? What did you think? Please review!

The `food-fight' idea stemmed from the need of some comedy!
But it was a hard-debate of whose head the piece of cake should land on, it was either Vincent or Yoko…
I decided on Yoko because I had picked on Vincent in pervious chapters and he needed a break from being tormented.
