Chapter 5: Bloodshed; Mist of Knowledge
"Rikku?" Zidane called out from the second floor, after their nice dinner Zidane resided back to his dorm leaving the vampire alone for a little while, which also left Rikku alone with his troupe. Rikku looked up from her cards and turned her head around searching for the origin of the voice. Ruby, Cinna, and Blank groaned as they watched their ‘winning’ companion place her cards down and get up.
“Aww man, Rikku, a Royal Flush again!?!” Blank called out slamming his cards down in defeat. The red haired man never lost his cool composure, but he was getting tired of her cheating.
“Yeah, I mean, are you cheatin’, honey?” Ruby sighed not able to live her life with the horrible defeat.
“And I thought I liked you…” Cinna frowned. Zidane twitched his mouth at Cinna’s words and walked down the stairs to see everyone playing cards. Rikku turned around again to face her newfound friends and pointed at them.
“Don’t touch my gil!! I know how much there is… I counted!!” Rikku winked.
“Rikku, can you come here?” Zidane asked as he entered another room that Rikku didn’t notice before. Rikku, without a word, turned around from the three and hurriedly ran off to her other blonde companion. As soon as the young blonde entered the dark room, the door shut.
“Fryd(what)!!” Rikku yelled in slight surprise. Being the vampirire she was, she quickly adjusted her eyes to the dark and called out, “Zidane?”
“Hiya!!” A voice similar to Zidane’s yelled. Rikku then automatically pinpointed his voice, which was also followed by a faint sound.
((Wait! That’s a--)) Rikku thought in realization, with her fast reflexes she back-flipped and crashed onto a hard table-like structure dodging away from the sound. “Tysh ed(damn it),” Rikku coughed. Standing up hastily, Rikku grabbed from her butt pocket her claw and fumbled it on.
“You’ve got to be quicker than that!” Zidane yelled, as the sound of air being cut through was heard. Rikku’s sensitive ears barely caught where his attack was going to land and dodged out of the way in time.
“What–what are you doing!?!” Rikku yelled finally placing her claw fully on. “I don’t want to hurt you!”
“Then fight!” Zidane yelled bringing up, what Rikku thought, two very, sharpened daggers. Blinking a few times at her newfound companion, Rikku just smiled and complied.
“If we must,” Rikku sighed and flicked her wrists, “but I must warn you–”
“–enough small talk,” Her usually cheerful friend interrupted. The two then nodded in unison and charged.
Taking note to his weapon, and using her trained night vision, Rikku dodged the shining objects and evaded his attacks easily. She then began her offense.

Zidane wiped the sweat that formed at the top of his brow and grinned. “Wow, you’re better than I thought!!” he exclaimed.
At this Rikku jumped up from the place she had fallen and smiled brightly back. “Why, dryhg oui(thank you), Mister Zidane!” The thief then glanced down at her broken claw and frowned. “Although, you did break my weapon,” Rikku sighed.
Zidane then sweat dropped and walked over to her. Clearly seeing in the dark, Rikku looked up to him and slightly blushed. “Well, you might have beaten me, but–” Zidane stopped in his tracks and grinned. “Hey, I got an idea, how about you use one of my weapons?”
Rikku cocked her head to one side in confusion and pressured him to go on.
“Well, erm, I mean as payment for breaking your only weapon and all…” Zidane muttered, trying to hide his blush that Rikku could obviously see.
“Oh,” Was all Rikku could say.
The room all of a sudden changed from fire to water, burning to calm, as the two blonde thieves looked intently into each others eyes.
“Rikku,”
“Zidane,”
They both stated in sync. No one moved. Rikku just sat on the cold floor thoughtfully and Zidane stood patiently waiting for everything to unfold; leaving whoever was their God to unwrap their destinies. Rikku shyly lifted her frail body up and blinked her green swirls of eyes. She shook her head and walked towards the hybrid. “You are a special person, Zidane, and I thank you for helping me,” The royal vampire smiled. “But, when the time comes, even vampires as nice as me can turn,”
Zidane’s facials were brought to a calm mix of confusion and delight as she voiced her words. He smirked and then walked off and out of the room as if nothing had ever happened.
After his figure disappeared from the dark room, Rikku collapsed down onto her knees and shivered. “Why?” Rikku whispered I fright. “Why did your face appear in my head?”
Tears then formed into her swirled eyes. “Fro(Why)?”

“Oh my golden chocobo’s!!” The ninja yelled as the sun appeared through the mountainous scenery. Before the light from the sun reached Yuffie, the door immediately shut.
“Who’s she?” The one known as Freya commented. The glare from the red armored lycan found Yuffie, but the ninja did not take heed. The short haired vampire brought out ‘her’ materia and kissed them.
“The former princess of Wutai,” The red haired warrior, Amarant, coolly replied. Freya glanced up at her partner and gave him her infamous look. At that, Amarant closed his mouth and returned his attention to the dark man.
“My Lord, the execution of the last vampire covenant house is under siege; we are in control,” Freya reported in a bowing position. As the words flew out of the lycan’s mouth, Yuffie’s head shot up and her eyes widened as big as saucers.
“WHAT?!” She screeched, forgetting all about her precious materia. “The one in Bikanel?”
“Oh course, what other one is there?” Amarant serenely and uncaringly replied. Yuffie wrinkled her nose and huffed at his respond then stood up next to him.
“Don’t bring that up, you stupid red head!” Yuffie growled. “One day you’ll see, we’ll take back all of our land and kick your lycan arses out of our home,”
“… Sorry,” he replied insensitively. Yuffie stuck her nose up high at him and turned away, seeing the very obvious height difference between them both.
“Oh, if I had my shurikens, I’d stick it so far up your–” before Yuffie could finish her sentence, a loud slap echoed across the empty-like spherical room. Yuffie’s eyes zoned out in a daze as she felt the piercing sting of her cheek and blood dripping down. Freya withdrew her clawed, bloodied hand from Yuffie’s personal bubble and turned away, not in shame but in slight accomplishment. Yuffie’s grayish eyes blinked, once, twice, thrice and then glared towards the rat-woman. “YOU!” Yuffie’s voice rasped high-pitched. “How dare you slap the greatest vampire ninja to ever bless this place!!”
The short vampire rubbed her cheek in astonishment and growled as she felt cuts upon her flesh. “I see no great ninja, more or less a vampire who has blessed this castle,” Freya replied. Yuffie twitched in anger and walked towards the doors the exited out of the room, away from the burning sun, complaining about ‘rat-people’.
After the ninja disappeared from view both of the solders knelt down and bowed to their master. “You didn’t have to slap her. I could have taken care of her myself,”
At Amarant’s words Freya’s sensitive ears twitched, and a small, almost unnoticeable blush was rewarded to him.
The halls of the empty, yet great castle shined with sunlight, which Yuffie could not touch. Evading the sunlight at all costs necessary, she stormed around in anger. Her skin felt raw and painful but Yuffie ignored it and focused all her anger on the fact that the rat woman had slapped her. Slightly frowning she recalled a moment with her mother in her young age scolding at her for running away again. Yuffie then smiled and laughed slightly, it was one of her better moments with her family as a whole.
Yuffie was sitting down close to the edge of a cliff crying about something she’d forgotten over the years. Yuffie’s mother sat down next to her and smiled her infamous smile only she smiled to Yuffie. “It’s not nice to run away like that. It shows bad character,” Yuffie remembered. “Yuffie, when people run away from their problems, the other people look at your actions and may imitate them or worse, they would make fun of you forever. Yuffie, my flower, the best thing to do is take the problem up like a strong woman. Even if it’s hard, take it little by little and… you’ll see where you’ll end up. I assure you Yuffie, there are worse problems out there to runaway from than this little one you had, and I can assure you Yuffie, that those brave souls out there who are in the middle of it aren’t running away,”
Yuffie laughed at her mothers words and leaned against the nearby wall. ((Oh mommy, I think that this problem is as worse as it gets)) Yuffie thought recalling the time where she met up with Mr. Tall-Dark-and-Creepy and his counterpart Mr. I’m-so-high-and-mighty to the time where she almost got burned alive. ((Much worse… and speaking of which, that rat woman needs to pay… but how)) With that still in her system, the young ninja stormed off again.

“The grand summoning,” Cloud flatly said. Lulu nodded in realization followed by her doll.
“Hm. Yes, the grand summoning. ‘Reunite the chosen ones and present a sacrifice’” Beatrix mimicked. “But my orders were opposite of that, the chosen ones… must die,” Beatrix smiled. Her cool lips turn upward for the first time, a cruel yet beautiful smile.
Cloud took his eyes of the assassin and looked at Lulu, “Did they find her?” he asked cautiously. Lulu shook her head making her beads clatter and glared at the ground.
“A blonde haired man took her to the Gargant, she said she was going to be okay. I trust her, and now I don’t regret my decision,” Lulu concluded. Beatrix blinked in confusion and smirked, with everyone distracted in the matter no one concentrated on her. The assassin then summoned back her sword with her magic. Cloud instantly turned his attention from the dark haired woman to the blonde and cursed at himself. The dark blonde brought his sword up to his face and prepared for battle once again.
“So she’s gone?” Beatrix stated in slight disappointment. “Hn. Then I have no need wasting my time with you,”
Lulu took note to the battle words and brought up her hand to cast magic. “Wall,” She silently chanted. An invisible barrier closed around the man as he charged at the woman, and that was all she could do. With Beatrix’s reflect still on all of Lulu’s attacks would be in vain. Lulu just stood in the back waiting for the outcome.
“Be gone,” Beatrix called summoning one of the greatest spells while easily deflecting Cloud’s pitiful attacks. A blast of energy was released from Beatrix’s body, destroying everything in its path. Since Cloud was protected by magic the blast didn’t affect him that much, but when Lulu examined the deadly life-force before her with the little time she had, Lulu took note of her sister and shielded her.
The vampire mage quickly shielded herself hoping for the best.
It never came.
As the light dispersed, Lulu made out a blend of orange and blue. Orange hair and a blue bandana to be exact, and also tan skin, which was all now bloodied and bruised up from taking the brunt of the attack, Lulu concluded it was defiantly male, but not any of the vampires.
"You should warm up, ya,"
Lulu gasped and stood completely still. “Chappu…” She whispered, too in shock to do anything else.
“You’re… alright?” Chappu asked in his most appealing accent turning his head around and grinning. He looked happy Lulu deciphered. A small smile was rewarded to the man and as a result he instantly collapsed.
Lulu widened her vampric red eyes then closed them again falling into the sand where he laid upon. The ice in her heart melted for only temporarily and she allowed herself to cry a few blood tears.
After a few moments of silence yelling was heard in the distance.
“CHAPPU!?!” Another lycan with a similar accent bellowed. Orange hair, the same as Chappu’s. But Lulu took no note to that she just sat there allowing her composure to be broke this one time.
Beatrix looked intently at the scene unfolding before her and frowned. She then turned away.

They entered Alexandria. The nighttime really did make the place light up. Rikku smiled as she looked at the darkened moon and then at the city lights. They were not that bright but not that dull either. ((They really need to update, I’ll tell Garnie about that when I see her)) Rikku thought with a smile place upon her face. They passed the Business District, boring but busy, then two more districts until they reached the castle.
Baku landed the ship and Zidane walked out into the moonlight to see Rikku once again. The blonde looked at the castle and smiled. Her clothes were still torn up from fighting the lycan in red and the vampire looking lycan, but none the less she still looked flawless. Rikku turned around sensing a familiar scent and smiled.
“Zidane,” She happily called. The blonde half-breed took a note to her cheeriness and returned the favor.
“Hey you,” Zidane smiled back. “I guess this is where you get off,” He said quietly meeting up with her at the railing.
“Yep,” She smiled. ((I have to find a way to get back to the Planet without disinagrating, and Garnie is the best at solving problems like that so I hear… though I haven’t seen her since infancy. But there’s no turning back)) Rikku thought. Engrossed in her thoughts, Zidane examined the blonde beauty and smiled.
“You are beautiful,” He smirked. Rikku blinked out of her thoughts and shot her head towards the blonde.
“Huh?”
“I said you’re beautiful,” Rikku blinked and blushed slightly.
((Beautiful? But I’m only fifteen in human years and… I’m still not fit for a mate yet and not to mention I’m not that good looking… though there was that one time with whatever his name is and well..)) Rikku rambled in her head completely distraught from his comment. Zidane laughed and placed his hand on top of Rikku’s head.
“And cute,” He laughed. Sure they both were about the same height, Zidane being a little bit taller, and both of them did match in personality, but Rikku couldn’t help but think that something was missing. She smiled and took his gloved hand off of her head.
“I’d say the same thing for you but then again that would be too femininely, huh?” She laughed. “Well then Zidane, I think of you as a cute boy,”
They both then laughed. Breaking hand contact, both of them then walked away from the deck and waited for the door to be opened.

“Queen Alexandria, you have guests,”
A woman with dark brown locks gracefully rose from her bed and walked over to her mirror. “And who might these visitors be?” The woman quietly, yet politely asked.
“They come in a theatre ship, one claims to be related to you, yet holds no resemblance to your appearance,”
“No resemblance?” She questioned while combing her hair lightly. The comb brushed smoothly through her tresses and gave made a slight curl at the ends. The darkness of her room made it that her eyes were unseen, yet her pale face stood out. The outline of her face was also made to standout. She had a childlike face, yet with maturity entwined within it. Her nose was small and femininely adjusted to match her face.
“Blonde hair, while you clearly have dark brown, your majesty,”
“With swirls of eyes like emeralds?” She continued slightly in astonishment. The personal guard nodded. The queen saw this action in her mirror and replied, “Lucil, I will be there in short due, please, ask one of your guards to keep them accompanied, but not as prisoners,” She smiled.
Her lips were like a cherry blossom, pink, small and petit, perfect. The bangs of her hair were slightly over her non visible eyes but the queen showed no interest in the matter. The woman then looked out her nearby window and her eyes shone with delight.
The light revealed childlike eyes, innocent and clean. With a sunrise brown color entangled with mystery and poise.
“My once forgotten childhood sister,” She smiled. She then tore her eyes away from the gibbous moon and stood up. “It is time we reunite again,” With a smile she grabbed a robe and walked out of her cambers, descending down to where her long-awaited relative resided at.

Yuna smiled. She’s never seen the Gargant before and would have never guessed it were an oversized tarantula either. The priestess sighed as she waited in the darkness for her ride to come to its destination. Her escort sat across from her, in a carriage type seat, not paying attention to anything in particular. The man she rode with looked quite normal to her, neither lycan nor vampire, which was particularly odd because humans never crossed the barrier to the such-different worlds.
As a matter of fact, vampires rarely crossed over to lycan territory, but she knew the reason why Rikku and Yuffie did so, which was an exceptional cause in her opinion. Yuna smiled at the man as she watched his blonde hair wave in the wind, expecting closer Yuna could see a different color root, brown was it?
((Is he trying to hide something about him?)) Yuna thought. The priestess then shook her head and told herself not to pry into other peoples affairs. ((It’s better left alone… though I still want to know more about his character))
As if sensing the half-breed in thought about him, the young man smirked and kept his thoughts to himself. Admiring the woman from his peripheral view, the man noticed how her eyes shone up in the darkness, one was innocent green and the other was mysterious blue. He hadn’t noticed it from before, maybe because of his lacking of noticing things right away, but he had to admit they were ‘pretty cool.’ The blonde man then laughed, unaware of Yuna’s knowing, and took his eyes off the cave’s flooring. Yuna just smiled and watched him in amusement.
As the man faced forward, so did something else she didn’t notice before. Was it… a necklace? It shone not that brightly due to the lack of sun, but Yuna did notice it was something metal or was it silver. The man’s blue eyes caught notice of the flicker and quickly hid his necklace away.
“Sorry about that,” He laughed sheepishly now taking notice of how obvious he was to laughter. “You know… priestess–”
“Yuna,”
“Yuna,& #8221; He corrected himself then continued on, “You have pretty neat colored eyes,”
Yuna blushed slightly and nodded, taking a new interest in the flooring.
“Forbidden!” a voice yelled.
“My mother was a vampire, a rare kind which only produced blonde hair and irregular green eyes, and my father… he was lycan, a man with unique colored hair and beautiful blue eyes, so my mother once told me,” Yuna explained.
“A half-breed? Absurd!”
The man looked at Yuna with encouragement in his eyes and smiled. “Well if it helps, I don’t even know my mother, much less my father. I don’t even know if my mother had green hair or even a moogle bobber whichever it’s called thingy on her head,” The man laughed. Yuna smiled brighter and glanced up at the man.
“Well Yuna, it seems I’m laughing over here acting as if we’ve known each other for years and yet you still don’t know my name,” The man grinned, sitting up strait. “I’m!”
The gargant halted and jerked the blonde haired man out of his seat and onto Yuna’s lap. Yuna let out a small squeak and looked down at the man.
“Tidus…” He concluded pulling himself out from on top of her priestess garments. Yuna laughed as she saw his brightened up face and helped him stand up. He was taller than her, yes, and defiantly much more built and tanned. For wearing silver that meant he wasn’t a lycan, and for being so tanned it meant he defiantly wasn’t a vampire, but for a human he’d seem likely possible to fit in that category than all the rest, but Yuna was still not sure. The brown haired woman smiled yet again and looked up at the gargant.
“What has happened?” She questioned.
“We’re not at our destination,” Tidus slightly glared looking for any potential predators. Yuna nodded at his words and then placed her eyes upon the man again, Tidus. “Well while we’re here not doing anything… we might as well have ourselves a fun and entertaining conversation, don’t you think?” The man grinned. Yuna laughed slightly and nodded yet again.
The two then talked.

-------
“Rikku?” a familiar yet unfamiliar voice called out from the other end of the hallway. The blonde looked up and smiled, it was Garnet… still in her sleep clothes. Rikku sweat dropped at her old companion and waved.
Jumping up and down in excitement Rikku replied back, “Garnie!!”
The guards who escorted the royal and surveillanced Rikku let their guard down and watched as the old friends reunited. The two instantly clasped hands together and smiled bright smiles.
“I see you got all dressed up to see your favorite sister,” Rikku grinned. Garnet then looked at Rikku and smirked an unusually smirk to her girlish features.
“And I can say the same for you,” She winked. Rikku then gasped and looked sheepishly down at her wears laughing in embarrassment. Her clothing were still ripped up and torn from the battle she had at Zanarkand and the one before she jumped off the theatre ship.
“Opps?” Rikku laughed. ((No wonder the guards eyed her funnily))
“Oi. Rikku!! What about me?” Came yet another familiar voice. Garnet untangled her hands from Rikku’s and looked over to the source of noise.
((His aura…)) Garnet thought suspiciously. “Guards you may let him pass,” the queen ordered sensing the connection between her sister and him.
“Zidane,” Rikku sweat dropped.
“Hey, hey, now. Just wanted to check up on the beautiful Rikku,” The blonde grinned. Rikku sighed and nodded.
“I see you both are well addressed,” Garnet smiled invitingly. Zidane took note to the queen and smiled.
“And I see that the rumors here aren’t just rumors after all, you are the fairest of the land,” He smirked.
“Queen Garnet til Alexandros,” She introduced. “And I am happily obliged to be acquainted with you,”
“Zidane, do you have a real reason for being here?” Rikku asked abruptly. Zidane grinned and shook his head taking his eyes off the beautiful wonder.
“Just wanted to see how you were, and well, Baku left me,” He sheepishly replied. As that Rikku sweat dropped and carried on her conversation ignoring the actor. “So how’s life been as a queen?”
Garnet politely laughed her pleasant laugh and smiled, “Life has been rewarding and now has become very interesting,” She replied softly. “But we shouldn’t stand out here in the commons all night talking about dilly-dally sort of material,” Garnet pointed out using a bit of slang.
((Tifa. Garnet got that word from Tifa. They’ve always been such good friends))
Rikku smiled and nodded at the woman’s words as she continued. “It’s more better if we do that in private,” she laughed. “Please, do follow me,”
The two otherworldly creatures nodded in unison then followed the queen. Garnet lead the way, trailed by her ever-so-loved guards, and soon has stopped upfront of a weird looking contraption. Rikku examined it and sighed.
((That’s what I have to tell her,)) “You know what Garnie?” At this the human questioned her sister. Rikku sighed and looked at the piece of machinery. “You really need to update on the whole using of mist for energy, I hear it’s bad for humans to even get close to the dangerous stuff,”
At this Garnet blinked. “Really?” She was intrigued.
“That’s why you should use Machina!” Rikku pointed out in excitement. Garnet nodded pleasantly then the doors opened in the mist-working contraption.
“An… elevator?” Rikku questioned. Zidane looked amazed at the elevator and grinned.
“Wow, I got to say, Queeny,” Zidane smirked giving Garnet a nickname, “You really have all the stuff here,” He winked. Garnet was unfazed by his flirtatious ways and smiled just to be polite.
Garnet turned around to both of the breeds, the guards holding the elevator open, and bowed slightly. “Zidane, you will be escorted to your dorm by one of my guards, we will shortly meet up with you afterward,” With a slight bow, Zidane grinned and walked off.
“I guess I’ll take the stairs,” He stated. Rikku and Garnet were left alone, along with some of her personal guards.
“I have something to show you,” Garnet stated out plainly. Rikku blinked in utter confusion but did not question. “Top floor,” Garnet ordered lightly to the guard who kept the elevator door opened. The two then entered the small area and the elevator door shut.
After a short, yet slow paced ride up, they finally reached the top. The guards escorted Garnet out of the lift then followed by Rikku, who didn’t really need any assistance. The elevator door shut again and Rikku looked at the beautiful balcony they were on.
“Woah,” She sighed. It was big and beautiful, almost like a dream really. The flooring was polished and clean, white marble, there were pillars, not like the old ones at Zanarkand but beautiful ones. And then there was the scenery.
Garnet led the vampire up the small sets of stairs and to the top ledge. Rikku smirked at her sister and looked up. It wasn’t quite daybreak yet, but Rikku could sense it, the sun that is. Pointing to a telescope Garnet said softly breaking the awe, “There’s something that has been bothering me,”
“And what is that?” Rikku asked disappointedly, she didn’t like when people close to her, even if she hadn’t seen them in a ling time, were in distress.
“Take a look at the telescope,” Garnet insisted.
Rikku obliged. As she placed her one of her unique eyes onto the eye rest. Rikku could see for miles and miles. ((At least they have a few things based on machina)) Rikku thought still taking a look around. About a few seconds later she gasped. Garnet frowned and tapped Rikku on her should politely.
“Your eyes are much better than mines, please endure me, but… is what I saw earlier in my looking glass what you see now?” Garnet sputtered out making no sense at all.
“What exactly did you see?” Rikku questioned.
“This looking glass is enchanted. It was created from the great moogle himself,” Garnet explained. “What you saw right now was in your land, Bikanel,”
“What! But… what I saw was smoke!”
“And I,”
“When?”
“This early morning,”
“But, but that means Yuna!” Rikku shrilled. Garnet placed her soft yet feminine hand on Rikku’s shoulder and smiled.
“I sent for her already when I saw the fire, she is safe,”
“What? How?”
“Please, come with me, before the sun breaks,” Garnet softly smiled. Rikku took out her PHS and shrieked again.
00:04 v.d.
Not much time in her opinion. The young vampire then closely walked next to Garnet and hurried her on. “Then lets go,” Rikku laughed in fright. They then passed the elevator and Rikku cocked her head to the side in confusion.
“We’re not taking the elevator down, we’re taking the stairs,” Garnet explained. Rikku nodded in realization and reached the first step of the spiral looking stairs. Before Garnet descended the stairs, she grabbed a nearby torch and pointed it down the middle. Rikku got the hint and walked at a slower pace, she didn’t want to use up all her energy throughout the first 1/4th of the way down.
“Rikku,” Garnet smiled, her voice echoing throughout room. Rikku looked behind her and smiled.
“Yeah?”
“That boy you were traveling with,”
“Zidane?”
“Yes,”
“Does he have a bad aura or something?” Rikku questioned. Garnet smiled at her innocent cousin and shook her head.
“Just… undecipherable,” She answered. Rikku sighed in slight relief then continued on, “I’d be careful around him,” She warned lightly. Rikku nodded it off then continued down the stairs.
The two royals finally reached the end of the secret staircase and looked around. Garnet brought her torch out further away from her and looked around the forgotten, and spider webbed, corridors.
Garnet then led the way, ignoring the webs and dusts which collided with her innocent like face. “Tidus should be here with Yuna by now,”
“Tidus?” Rikku asked suspiciously. Garnet laughed at her remark then answered,
“My link to Kuja,” She stated. At this Rikku paused and looked at her sister in awe.
“Kuja?”
“Kuja, the current Maester of Gaia and the son of the former Maester, Ultimicia, and also… my future spouse,” The queen concluded.
“Huh? Marriage? Just like Yunie…” Rikku whispered. Garnet smiled and looked behind her, “Garnet, tell me what’s really going on? I know that you and Yuna are special, not just special to me but to everyone! But please, explain to me,”
“It has been decided long ago that Yuna and I were to be engaged, though not out in the open, it was in our blood,”
“A plan of engagement. But why?”
Garnet smiled and turned around continuing on her way. She reached the end of the tunnel and brought her torch closer to her so that she could examine everything she could. “There,” Garnet indicated. Garnet then placed her small hand onto the wall besides her making a glyph appear out in the open. The wall in front of her instantly moved then slowly rose up, much to Rikku’s amazement.
“To destroy the ultimate evil,” Garnet finished.

A/N: Ack, no Garnet isn’t Rikku’s real sister. Blah. They just have a blood bond, but I’m not going into detail about that. Anyways. I’ll be updating more quickly from now on. Ja! Oh and hey, what do you think of a Seifer x Yuna coupling? Cute, neh? But Yunis still rocks. ^_^
