It Couldn't Be True

"Dr. Kadowaki, the SeeDs are back. Squall Leonhart should be coming in any moment." The sixteen-year old girl, informed the older doctor.
"Okay, please retrieve his file and put it on the table inside the room he will be in." The girl nodded her head and went off to do her job.
Just then, the doors burst open and several men stepped through.
"Dr. Kadowaki!"
"Yes, yes. Take the patient into that room." She pointed as the tall, dark haired man she noticed as the Dagen, held Squall closely and hurried into the room. She rushed in after him and prohibited the others from coming in.
"What happened, Lee?" Dagen looked at her then down at the unconscious brunette. He backed away as Kadowaki was moving miles a second, checking his current condition.
"We hit a pothole in the street and he was standing up and hit the equipment on the truck. I think he hit his head again. I noticed that he was feeling a little light-headed before but did not think much of it."
The doctor took out a small, black flashlight and opened the brunette's eye. She flashed the light in his eyes to see if they reacted and they dilated. She sighed in relief and began a routine check up to see what was the matter.
After receiving the phone call from the other hospital, the nurse told her that everything was fine with Squall and that he only needed more rest than he had originally gotten. She could not understand why he would pass out again...could it have been from exhaustion? Well, it seemed like the hit on his head could have been hard but she didn't think it was enough force to render the strong man unconscious again. There had to be something else...
Dagen watched as she attended to Squall and took the time to move his eyes over the lithe figure on the bed. Squall's greyish-blue eyes were hidden but his long lashes graced over his pale cheekbones. The man had a perfect body, one that he could not wait to get his hands on. Even the way the brunette was laying on that bed almost made him want to jump him right then and there, but he had to contain himself and let his little plan fall into place.
"Has he had anything to drink or eat, possibly?" She knocked him out of his little fantasy and frowned at her question.
"I think I saw him have something to drink, water maybe." She only nodded. Squall was resting now, but she needed to wake him and ask him some questions. It is definitely not good that he has had that accident and now could possibly have another concussion. She felt a slight bump on the side of his head, beside the one that was caused by the vase.
"I'm going to have to keep him hear for a little while." Dagen walked up to her as she was going to the desk and looked into her eyes concern.
"Will he be alright?" She side stepped him and grabbed Squall's file that her young assistant-trainee put into the room while she was checking Squall.
"I am hoping that he will be just fine. It may take some time for him to recover but I am going to heal his wounds and give him some medication for the pain that he may be facing."
"Doctor, I do not think it is wise to have him be by himself, in his quarters, alone." She turned and glanced in Dagen's direction before she looked over to the boy she's taken care of for almost half his life.
'He does need to be watched...' That thought lingered in her mind for a moment and she did agreed with it. 'He may need to have someone watch over him for a period of time, so he can recover more quickly and properly...'
"I suppose not." He jumped at the opportunity as he congratulated himself on a job well done.
"It would be no problem for me to take him in. I already know more than anyone with what is wrong with him, and I know that he needs to rest and keep awake for today and possibly, for tonight. I do not have anything scheduled for the next few days. It will not be a bother, Dr. Kadowaki." They walked out of the room and she nodded.
"Yes, he will be moved into your quarters for the time being. I'll have him down for about a week. If he continues to have problems, might he be able to stay longer, Lee?"
"Of course. I am very good friends with Squall and he is of no bother to me. I would be glad that he was staying with me and not someone who might not be able to take care of him, fully." She smiled sweetly at his words and he reached up to rub the back of his neck. "Ah! I will be back, Doctor. I need to speak to the headmaster for the belated report on the mission I-"
"Yes, yes. Of course, dear. Don't let me keep you. I will have him here and run a few more check ups and he should be ready to go." She smiled at the tall man and he returned the kind gesture. "You are such a nice young man, Lee Dagen. Bless you and you better take care of my children more carefully on these missions, you understand?"
"Yes, I understand." She sighed and started pushing him out of her office.
"Go on. Don't be late." Dr. Kadowaki laughed lightly as he continued to walk out of the room.
"Today is going to be a great day." Dagen's grinned widely and made his way to the elevator to head up to the Headmasters office.
He will start his report on the successful mission that they had today. His mission was going well too as he will get his man, and he will get rid of his obstacle.
'Ah, isn't it great?' He chuckled to himself as he thought of his little obsession.
'Squall will be mine!'
