==================================
Squall sat on the couch back-stage with the four other members to his band. They were finished with practice for today. They shouldn't have been, but Jep was near ready to rip each band member's heads off.
Why?
Seifer wanted to piss Jep off. And with Squall's help - and the rest of Blood Kiss - Jep was seriously pissed.
"I swear," Jep grumbled, looking over the five members of Blood Kiss. "You five want to embarrass yourselves, that's fine with me. But when you embarrass me! ... *(low grumble)* ... What the FUCK was that?! Griever? Flare? Not have enough sex last night?"
Seifer smirked from his chair.
Squall sat with his ever stern expression.
"I should have you both castrated!" Jep threatened.
Seifer's smirk faded slightly. Then he irrupted into laughter along with the rest of the band. Minus the stoic Squall, naturally.
Jep crossed his arms, glaring. "You did that on purpose, huh?"
Seifer choked back his laughter. "Why ... would we do that?" He looked at Jep, innocence sparkling in his eyes.
Jep continued to glare. "Griever was practically on his knees on that stage! You weren't playing for shit either, Flare!"
"How'm I suppose ta play when Grieve's nearly got his hand down my pants?" Seifer asked.
Jep ignored him. "And Dami! what the fuck was with the beat? How hard is it to keep a steady beat?"
"I was laughing..." Dami defended.
"Thoran, stop laughing over there," Jep said, turning to him. "'Cause don't think I can't tell you're drunk!"
Thoran bit back a smile. "Only buzzed..."
"And Hazen, you... I - I - I - Idon'tevenknowwhattosay!" Jep turned to the bass player.
Hazen shifted in his seat.
"Was it really necessary to be wolf-calling the Shiva's Influence band members?" Jep asked plainly.
Hazen shifted again, looking at the floor.
"What the fuck is with you all today?" Jep asked, looking from one boy to the next.
Seifer shrugged. "Small town?"
Jep groaned. "You - you - just... Oohhh!" He glared one final time around the room then turned to leave. "You're all dismissed for the fuckin' day." He opened the door to the room, slamming it behind him.
Seifer chuckled to himself. He looked at Squall, who was staring blankly at the floor. "Come here, Cub."
Squall looked up, watching Seifer for a brief moment before standing and heading to Seifer's position.
"I'm starving!" Dami groaned, standing up and stretching.
Squall sat down on Seifer's lap. Seifer pulled him into a kiss.
"Hyne, man," Hazen grumbled, looking at the two kissing men. "Ain'tcha done yet?"
Thoran laughed. "What? Piss 'cause Kayli doesn't want your dumb ass?" Kayli was the hottest member of Shiva's Influence, and lead guitarist.
"Fuck you!" Hazen snapped.
Dami chuckled as Thoran laughed harder.
A knock sternly tapped on the door. Dami, who was standing, walked to the door and opened it.
"Kent!" Dami said, opening the door further to let Seifer's current boyfriend in.
Squall pushed off of Seifer, standing up next to the large blonde, looking over to Kent.
Kent walked in, nodding to the band. He looked at Seifer. "Want to go to dinner, baby?"
Seifer pushed off the chair. "'Course, Hon." Seifer flashed his brunette boyfriend a sexy smile.
Kent smiled slightly, waiting for Seifer.
Seifer took Squall's arm, pulling him into a light kiss before letting go and heading to Kent. Seifer took Kent's hand as he lead him out of the room.
Squall shifted his stance, watching the door shut.
"I'm gonna go down for dinner myself," Dami said.
"I'll go with you," Thoran quickly said.
"Later," Dami waved to Squall and Hazen as he left the room, followed by Thoran.
Hazen crossed his arms, huffing with a sneer.
Squall sat down in Seifer's chair. "Hazen?" he said softly, figuring he should at least pretend to care why Hazen was acting pissy.
Hazen looked to Squall. "Grieve... ain't no reason ta be so talkative." Hazen half smiled. "Just... " he sighed. "Kayli... think I pissed 'er off?"
Squall nodded.
Hazen sighed again. "Damn. Jus wanna ask 'er out!"
Squall shifted in the chair. "Do it."
Hazen shook his head, standing. "Maybe later. Ain't got da ball righ' now. I'll jus go watch 'er practice..." Hazen grinned. He walked to the door, looking back to Squall. "Ya stayin' all 'lone?"
Squall pushed up slowly from the chair. He looked around the room once before walking towards Hazen.
Hazen nodded, opening the door and leaving the room.
Squall followed, but went in the opposite direction of the bass player. He was leaving, not staying.
Stepping outside, he walked slowly towards the waiting limo. No fans were around because they weren't allowed on the property until Friday night. So Squall was safe during the short distance he had to cross.
"Sir!" the limo driver, Paul, said. He opened the door, Squall sliding inside. Closing the door the limo driver hurried around to the drivers side, getting in.
"Where to, Sir?" Paul asked, starting the limo.
Squall sighed, crossing on leg over the other. Back to the Hotel? - No. ... Dinner? - No. ... I need entertainment. There isn't anything!
"Sir?" Paul repeated, the limo pulling out of the large abandoned parking lot, starting its trek down the road, back to Balamb city.
So bored. Guess I could sleep... dream... Squall smiled his pathetic smile as he remembered the dreams he'd been having lately. Erotic, vivid sexual experiences. With Zell. Zell! Squall sat up, blinking a few times. "Um..."
Paul glanced back in his rearview mirror to look at Squall.
Squall reached over and picked up the phone near him. He dialed the private number for security at the hotel.

Zell's mother turned around with a tray full of uncooked hamburgers and hot dogs. She was about to walk out of the kitchen and head to the backyard to barbeque them when a knock fell on the door.
Sighing, she set the tray down on the counter and walked to the front door, wiping her hands on her skirt.
Noise from the other room flowed loudly throughout the house, filling it with music and laughter.
Opening the front door, Zell's mother saw an older boy dressed completely in black. Leather mostly. And he had a scar between his eyes.
"Can I help you?" Ma asked.
"Zell... lives here?" the boy asked, his voice soft and smooth, flowing lightly through the air.
That surprised Ma. His soft voice. The leather outfit would have signaled otherwise.
"Yes," she replied quickly, frowning. "Who are you?" A boy dressed like that! coming to look for her son? She couldn't just let the kid into her house. Zell wasn't expecting anyone.
"A friend," the boy said in the same soft voice. He... smiled? Was that what you called the little pull at the side of his lips? It was definitely forced, that was plainly apparent.
She frowned.
The boy let the smile fade quickly. He cleared his throat. "My name is Griever."
Ma crossed her arms. Oh yeah - Griever - that name makes it so much better. Like hell she was going - wait. Griever? Sounded familiar. And the scar.
Ma let her arms fall to her sides. "You're on the posters in my son's bedroom."
The boy shifted his weight from one leg to the other, continuing his silence.
"You... You're a Rock Star, huh?" Ma asked, giving him a very weird frown.
Griever nodded.
"A big Rock Star, huh?" Ma pursued the question.
Again, Griever nodded.
Licking her lips, she stepped back from the door, letting the leather-clad boy into her house. "You know my son?"
He continued to answer silently, choosing to nod.
"Ohhhh!" Ma said as though everything made sense suddenly, closing the door behind Griever. "You must be the one who gave Zell the concert tickets and back-stage passes, huh?"
Yet another nod.
Ma lighted up at that moment, smiling. "He was very excited! Ran to show me the tickets. He's talked about nothing except that damned Drained Tour concert ever since he heard it was coming over here."
The boy shifted his weight, listening.
"You're in... Blood Kiss, right?" Ma asked, pointing to him briefly as she thought. She nodded, agreeing with herself. "That's one hell of a name! Goodness! Then again," Ma looked Griever over, "Can't say that the way you're dressed isn't fairly wild. Leather... Aren't you hot? Oh! Would you like me to take your coat?"
Griever shook his head slightly.
"Perhaps a drink? Water? Milk? A beer? Wait, how old are you? Should I even be offering you alcohol? I... I'm pretty sure you've drank before, but still? Well I guess it doesn't matter. A drink, then?"
Griever shook his head again.
"You don't talk much, do you?" Ma asked, half smiling.
Another silent "no" answer.
"I - I guess you would like to see my son?" Ma asked in a fake serious tone, a small smile pressing over her lips.
This time a nod from Griever.
Smiling, shaking her head, Ma lead Griever to the other laughter/music filled room. Zell sat on a couch. Selphie had her arms wrapped around his shoulders, pressed to his back, looking over his shoulder at the other boys. Mathew stood a few feet from Zell with Kyle next to him. They were talking loudly. Xenith sat on the floor in front of the TV playing a fight video game.
Ma cleared her throat. The teens turned to look at her.
"Oh my motherfuckingsonofabitch!" Kyle blurted out seeing Griever standing next to Ma. He quickly clasped his hand over his mouth, his eyes widening as he meet Zell's mother's gaze.
Kyle swallowed, letting his hand fall. "Sorry, Mrs. Dincht."
Ma nodded, looking to Griever standing slightly in back of her. "You're a very big Rock Star, then?"
Griever nodded.
"Squall!" Zell said, smiling at the leather clad idol.
"You sure you don't want me to take your coat?" Ma asked. "This is a room full of young teenagers. Constant energy keeps the room very hot."
Squall shook his head, looking from Ma to Zell.
"Alright then," Ma said, turning to leave.
Zell stood up, waving Squall to enter the room. "I thought you had practice."
Squall slowly entered the room, looking at all the shocked faces around the room. He meet Zell's sparkling sapphire swirls of water and his breath immediately choked in his throat. More beautiful then I remember.
Squall forced himself to breath, realizing that all the kids were still staring at him.
Selphie jumped up, grabbing a hold of Zell's arm. She smiled a bright, excited grin.
"It... was... canceled," Squall forced the words to flow.
"Oh?" Zell asked. "Why's that?"
Squall blinked. Like Hell I'm going to tell you I was near blowing Seifer on stage. Squall shrugged.
"What are ya doing here, though? I mean..." Zell felt incredibly stupid. He couldn't stop grinning like a fool. He giggled, then blushed, a look of shock sparkled his eyes. Fuck! I just giggled. What the hell? Zell coughed, shifting his stance.
Hyne above, you are adorable, Squall thought to himself.
Mathew laughed at Zell. "What the hell was that?"
"Shut up!" Zell quickly snapped back at Mathew, then looked to meet Squall's eyes again.
"Who are your friends?" Squall asked softly.
"This is Selphie!" Zell said, pointing to the girl hanging on his arm. "That's Matt. The one that stupidly cursed in fronna my Ma is Kyle. Then that's Xen on the floor."
Squall nodded to each of them, noting the girl's tight grip of Zell's arm. Girlfriend? He sighed inside, but outside he just kept his icy mask.
"Zell," Ma reappeared in the room. "Your Rock Star going to stay for dinner?"
Mathew chuckled softly, grinning evilly at Zell.
Zell shot him a hard glance then look at Squall. "How long can you stay?"
Squall crossed his arms in a loose grip. "Until my manager... figures out where I am. Or your mother... kicks me out."
Zell smiled happily. "Ma won't kick ya out!"
"No way," Ma agreed. "My son and his friends would kill me." She laughed lightly.
Squall nodded, still hugging himself.
Ma started out of the room. "We're having hamburgers and hot dogs, just so you know." Then she was gone.
Squall breathed slowly, wondering what the fuck he was doing here. What did you think would happen Squall? The kid would be living on his own and would be ready and waiting to have a night of passionate sex? Fuck!
Zell smiled at Squall.
Oh Hyne. Please stop that. You... Hyne you're beautiful, Squall thought, forcing himself to not look at Zell longingly, although he felt that expression might have slipped out for a brief moment.
"Zell hasn't played the guitar!" Mathew said.
Squall shifted, looking form Mathew to Zell.
"Shut up!" Zell snapped.
Squall cocked his head to the side, letting a small sad look show from his eyes. "Why not?"
"I did touch it!" Zell said quickly.
"We made you!" Selphie blurted out.
Squall sighed. What are you doing here, Squall? This is a fan! He thinks of you as an idol and you're standing here drooling over him. Get a grip. It was stupid to come. Kid's straight anyway. Squall swallowed. What I wouldn't give for another kiss. ... Fuck! I'm completely enthralled with the blonde... blue eyed... gorgeous smile... golden laughter... sexy body... Oh Hyne, how I wish I could get to know you more... Bishounen.
Squall licked his drying lips, realizing the kids were having a conversation on... Zell's sex life?! And the blonde was blushing a deep crimson.
"What do you think, Griever?" Mathew asked, half grinning.
Fuck... wasn't paying attention. I was busy starting at Zell's... everything. Squall blinked at Mathew before saying "Sorry, what?"
"You were staring at Zell, weren't you?!" Mathew said loudly.
Squall's eyes went wide briefly before he blinked away the expression. He shook his head "no."
Mathew smirked at Squall. "You were totally staring at him!"
Squall pulled his arms tighter around himself. His cheeks felt hot suddenly.
"Ah!" Selphie exclaimed. "He's blushing!"
"Both o' you stop it!" Zell said quickly.
Wonderful, now I'm being taunted by 15 and 16 year olds. And I'm their idol! Squall shook his head.
"What are you doing here?" Mathew asked Squall, grinning evilly.
Squall shifted his weight again. He'd been asking himself the same thing.
"I think he wanted to ask Zell out!" Selphie said brightly, smiling at Squall.
That's it. I'm the icy prick Rock Star! I'm taking over this conversation, Squall thought, looking around the room. "Maybe."
"Ah!" Selphie exclaimed, her smiling widening.
Zell felt himself turn red.
"Zell's probably already told you," Squall started, his voice staying its normal low tone, "I think he's the most beautiful creature I've ever seen. And maybe you'd like to think I came here to ask him out, but that's not quiet true. I just wanted to see him again." Another world record for Squall's speaking ability.
The kids in the room were dumbstruck into silence.
Squall loosened his grip on his arms, letting them relax. He looked at Zell's face. Zell was looking at the ground trying to gain some of his normal calm back. "And that's all I wanted, Zell: to see you."
Zell looked through his eyelashes at Squall. He straightened up, smiling slightly. He broke into the cute wrinkled nose smile that made Squall's heart skip a beat. "Well... I'm glad you came."
Zell's mother stepped into the room. "Mr. Griever?"
Squall turned to look at her.
"This man is here for you," she said as a large man stepped into the room.
"Paul?" Squall asked.
"Mr. Levy told me either to come get you or get fired," Paul, Squall's limo driver, said.
Squall nodded, sighing. "Alright then."
He turned to step towards Paul, but he stopped. Squall turned back to look at Zell again. He crossed the room, standing in front of the short blonde. Squall reached under the collar of his nylon black shirt, removing a lion pendent on a chain. Squall pulled the necklace off, turning it in his hands, then let it fall around Zell's neck.
Leaving a hand at the base of Zell's neck, Squall spoke. "In case any more asshole security guards tell you to fuck off."
Zell smiled happily.
Squall traced a finger over Zell's jaw bone then turned and headed out of the room, followed by Paul and Zell's mother (who gave Zell an odd look before leaving.)
Zell looked down at the pendent, smiling. He took it into his hands to get a better look.
"Now you're permanent Grievance Territory!" Selphie giggled, looking down at the necklace.
"Man!" Kyle exclaimed, walking over to look at Zell's new pendent. "He was totally into you!"
Mathew wrapped his arm over Zell's shoulders. "That was so fucking cool!"
