-Friday night-

Stepping out of the limo, Squall wondered for a brief moment if he should really have taken Zell to this restaurant.

Eden. The most romantic restaurant in all of Gaia.

The place, where Griever and Rinoa were supposed to be having their dinner date at this exact same moment. And Squall had brought Zell here. It was almost asking for trouble.

News-crews were scattered everywhere. Flashing lights, reporters yelling questions, cameras trying to get the best shot of Griever.

"Griever! You meeting Rinoa tonight?" a female reporter yelled.

"How come your having dinner with a woman?" another reporter.

"Why the sudden sexuality change?"

Squall held his hand out to Zell, pulling the young blonde from the limo.

Lights flashed, cameras clicking away pictures at the two.

"Who's that?!" the female reporter shouted.

"Are you really on a date with Miss Heartilly?" another reporter.

Squall sighed, walking towards the door way. Thank Hyne for bodyguards. Big muscle was greatly appreciated during these moments.

"How old is the boy?!"

"Where is Flare?"

"Is that the boy from Balamb?!" the reporter's shocked voice started the others, silencing them for a brief moment, until an onslaught of questions poured out.

"How long have you two been together?"

"Does Flare know?"

"Is Miss Heartilly really going to show up?"

Then Squall and Zell were inside the restaurant, the doormen opening the doors quickly for the Super Star and companion.

Squall squeezed Zell's hand. Zell smiled up at Squall, his blue eyes sparkling happily.

"Sir," the host said, running towards the Super Star. "We have a private booth waiting for you."

Squall nodded.

The host smiled then turned to lead the brunette and blonde towards their seats.

"You alright eating here?" Squall asked Zell softly, walking slowly after the host.

Zell flashed a sexy grin at Squall. "'O course, baby."

Squall found himself lost in Zell's sapphire swirls for a moment before his forced himself to look away, trying to make it to his seat without running into anyone.

"Here we go, Sir," the host said, motioning towards a booth in a dark corner, lit candles on the table. A soft red-light came from above the booth, although is really didn't provide much light in the dark table.

Squall held Zell's hand, moving to stand next to the table as Zell sat. Then Squall took his seat across from Zell.

The host handed Squall and Zell menus, smiling down at them. "Would you like to hear the wine-list, sir?" he asked Squall.

"No," Squall replied in his soft voice. "I'd like a bottle of 60 year old Cabernet Sauvignon."

"Yes, sir!" the host replied quickly. "Do you prefer to hear the specials tonight?"

Squall shook his head, looking down in the dark booth at the barely readable menu.

The host nodded, then turned away, leaving Zell and Squall to their privacy.

Squall moved over in the booth, around the seat, to sit next to Zell. Zell smiled at him.

"Baby," Zell said softly.

Squall closed his menu and put it over on the other side of the table. Leaning his body against Zell's, Squall sighed, kissing the blonde's shoulder. "Bishounen."

"Another fancy restaurant," Zell said softly. "Donno what these words mean," he referred to the menu.

"Hot dogs?" Squall asked, meaning he'd special order them.

Zell's cheeks flushed. "Naw, baby. I'll have like... chicken or something."

Squall smiled at Zell, wrapping his arm behind Zell's back, around his waist. He held Zell, snuggling against him.

Zell smiled at Squall, then looking around the room slowly. People were stealing looks at the two boys, although it was fairly easy to guess why. For one, they were two boys eating in this expensive restaurant. Two, Squall was Griever. Three, Zell was pretty young to be having another person (the fact that Squall's a boy is aside) hugging him so

"Whatcha gonna have, baby?" Zell asked, setting his menu down on top of Squall's, then turning to snuggled with Squall.

Squall held Zell tightly, his cloudy eyes closed. "Chicken sounds good to me."

Zell laughed softly.

"Sirs?" the host voice interrupted their moment.

Squall pulled back from Zell slightly, but left his arms around the young blonde. He waited quietly for the host to make a point.

The host held the bottle up slightly higher, signaling that it was what he'd chosen.

Squall nodded.

The man then opened the bottle and filled a glass with hardly any wine. Squall reached forward and picked up the glass, sipping it, then nodding his approval as he set the glass back down.

"So, sirs," the host spoke as he filled two glasses. "Have you decided on what you want."

Squall looked at Zell, meaning for him to order.

Zell blinked at Squall, his sapphire eyes glowing in a small fear, but Zell tried. "We'd like the chicken," Zell said, realizing his voice was coming out far, far to youthful sounding. He cringing, thinking he'd just sounded like a 5 year old.

The host simply nodded. "Poulet! Wonderful choice. Would you like-"

"Poulet avec de la sauce écrémée à citron," Squall answered, not wanting to hear the full details the host was about to go into.

"Of course!" the host replied, moving away from the table. "I'll get it right away."

Zell turned back to Squall, pushing his body against the brunette's. Squall moved down to lightly kiss Zell, although he wanted to do much more when their lips meet.

Zell pulled back, his eyes sparkling in their beautiful sapphire spheres swirling around.

"I'm gonna go to the bathroom real quick, okay? Be right back," Zell said, moving from the table.

Squall watched his blonde bishounen leave. A smile pulled on the side of his lips, Zell looked around with a confused expression before heading in a decided direction.

Squall picked up the red wine, taking a slow sip. It was delicious. Expensive, though. Not like that mattered.

"Oh!" the too-familiar voice suddenly brought this night of Squall's to a horrible halt. "Sorry I'm late!"

Rinoa sat down opposite of Squall, smiling at him. "Stupid traffic." She was dressed to kill. Her black, strapless dress fitting tightly over her body as though it had been painted on. The soft, milky flesh of her cleavage shown in a less-then-classy way out of her dress. The make-up on her face was nice, but way to dark. The nails on her fingers were long, too long, looking like sharp talons almost. The black, raven hair twirled up into an odd hairstyle that really didn't fit around her face.

"What are you doing here?" Squall asked, a frown pinching his eyebrows.

Rinoa looked at Squall blankly. "We had a date."

Squall shook his head. "No."

"Then what are you doing here?!" Rinoa asked, her eyes cocked to the side.

"I'm on a date with my boyfriend," Squall replied.

"Flare?! Here?! Why'd you do something strange like that?" Rinoa asked, shifting in her seat. "You and me were supposed to have a date here, then you bring your boyfriend?!"

"I didn't realize you were a moron," Squall said, his expression turning black. Icy freezing in his eyes.

"Moron?!" Rinoa replied.

"Hey, baby. What's up?" Zell said, walking back to the table. He looked at Rinoa with a small frown.

Rinoa's eyes widened, her mouth falling open.

"Leave," Squall said in a stern tone.

Zell sat back down next to Squall, still looking at Rinoa.

"This is your boyfriend?!" Rinoa said, quickly standing up and pointing at Zell.

Squall just glared at Rinoa.

Rinoa walked to the other side of the table, leaning over, her breasts barely staying in the dress. "You fucking sick man. Cradle robber!"

Squall let his glare fade, his eyes blank.

Zell sneered at Rinoa. "Why don'tcha fuck of."

Rinoa turned to look at Zell. She opened her mouth, but Squall stopped her.

"Say one thing to him and I'll make sure you never work in another model shoot for the rest of your life," Squall's voice stayed soft, but the words were hash.

Rinoa stood up-right. "You're the sicko screwing little kids!"

"I'm 15!" Zell snapped.

"You just lost Selvanus and Invoke," Squall said softly.

"You don't have control over those magazines!" Rinoa said, her head shaking, hair bouncing. "What's wrong with you, you pervert!"

"No more Fantasies," Squall continued.

Rinoa swallowed. "... I'm going to the papers! Right outside! I'm telling the reports that your screwing a 15 year old!"

Squall blinked, his expression still blank. "...I had an interview this morning with Quistis Trepe from Invoke. I disclosed a large portion of my private life to her for the cover story of Griever's Life to her. A lot of that included my relationship with Zell. ... Have a better threat, Miss Heartilly? Or will you leave us alone to our date?"

"Sirs," the a waiter said, holding a plate full of appetizers.

Rinoa shot an angry glare at the waiter, then looked back to meet her doll-black eyes with Squall's stormy spheres. "Can't believe you!"

"You thought I was cute, before," Squall said softly, his eyes still locked with hers. "Am I still?"

Rinoa moved her hand to fluff her hair. "Of course you're still cute! ... I'd still go out with you, even though you screw little boys. I guess a guys gotta get his kinks-off somewhere."

Squall stayed silent, looking at the waiter. The waiter nodded, and turned away, walking to find the manager of the restaurant.

"I don't see why a 15 year old boy," Rinoa continued. "You're so cute, Griever! Who's ever think a cute guy would actually be gay?! How stupid is that?"

Zell looked back at Squall. Squall meet Zell's sparkling eyes, sighing.

"Then the kid is pretty cute too," Rinoa said. "Guess I can see why you'd cradle rob. But I donno if I'd ever do it myself! ... Sex with a-"

"Ma'am?" a male voice interrupted Rinoa. "I'm afraid I have to ask you to leave."

Rinoa looked at the manager, frowning. "I'm having dinner!"

"You don't have a reservation," the manager replied.

"I"m eating with Griever!" she insisted.

Squall closed his eyes. He couldn't believe this woman was still insisting they were on a date.

"No, he has a reservation for two. And Griever plus the blonde boy is two," the manager replied.

Rinoa frowned at him. "Are you making fun of me?!"

"No!" the manager said, shaking his head. "I'm just stating the obvious."

Rinoa turned to look at Squall. Squall held Zell tightly to him, watching the woman.

"Fucking cradle robber!" Rinoa snapped then turned away from Squall and walked away in a huff of anger.

Squall looked down into Zell's sapphire eyes. "I'm sorry, bishounen."

Zell half-smiled. "Its okay. She was pretty pissed... But never mind bout her."

Squall caressed a finger over Zell's tattoo. "Just me and you, now."
