Rinoa Heartilly walked to the train station, mindlessly.
"Oh, wait? Why am I at the train station?"
She looked at her hands. She was carrying flyers.
"Oh, yeah I'm so dumb. I hope everyone makes it back for the Cherry Blossom festival. That's when the `Balamb Sirens' will strike."
She stapled a flyer onto a pole.
"I can't believe nobody's figured out that Paine, Quistis, Selphie and I are the `Sirens'...I mean, c'mon."
Suddenly, Rinoa fell to the ground.
"Oh, no. Not now," Rinoa said.
Her heart was beating fast. Her "angelic" powers were growing out of control. The last time that happened, she nearly killed Squall.
"Squall, help me."
Tears started to run down Rinoa's face. She remembered how Squall, her childhood and best friend, had saved her.
"Rinoa!" a voice called.
It was Quistis.
"Rinoa, what's wrong?"
"Quistis...it hurts."
"...."
"It's happening again."
"Calm down, I'll go call the Headmistress."
"Aaaah!"
Rinoa collapsed.
"Rinoa!"
Silence.
"Rinoa, Rinoa!"
As Rinoa floated in her mind, one image came to her mind. A photograph of them, Rinoa and Squall, on a ranch in Winhill. She used that image as her "light," as she was surrounded by darkness.
