Hmm…Hime, are you all right? Everything is going to be okay…you're safe with me because I am the strongest flame master in the world hahaha!!! Boom, boom!What did you say Hime? I didn't quite catch you. Boom! What the?! Recca squints and sits up all groggily Oh it's the door, hold on will ya! Damn what time is it anyway. He reluctantly dragged himself up and unlocked the door. He looked around with his left eye still closed and gave out a loud yawn.

Recca looked down and saw a boy standing there with the Kougan-Anki by his side and a familiar wide, innocent smile plastered on his face, revealing two pointed teeth. Recca widened his eyes with surprise and smiled in return.

"Why if it isn't the twerp himself. Where have you been you little brat?" And he grabbed Kaoru Koganei's head and gave him a noogie. He then strangled the boy's neck with his arm and pulled him inside the house.

A dark middle-aged woman with her hair in a neat bun walked out of one of the rooms.

Koganei who had been struggling under Recca's arm without success finally squirmed his way out and started to cough. "Ahem, Kagero-san it's nice to see you again"

"What's all this racket about. Can't a man sleep in his own house!" Hanabishi-san stomped out of his room and glared at his son. "Recca you better have a good reason for this or I'm gonna kick your ass!" He headed straight for his son, but abruptly stopped when he saw Koganei.

"Hey Dad, this is my buddy, Kaoru Koganei." Recca then looked down at Koganei's torn clothes and figured something happened, but he didn't want to ask just yet. "Well don't just stand there Dad go get this brat something to eat, he must be starving right now!"

"Hmph! What do you think I am, boy?! I'm not a dog!" But he descended towards the kitchen anyway because he knew he was not wanted there while they discuss some things that didn't concern him.

All the while Koganei has sat down quietly on the sofa not really paying attention to all the commotion between the father and son. Kagero-san noticed this and wondered what he had been through after the Ura Bato Sajin had ended. He seemed to just have left without actually giving a reason why.

"Ahem, don't mind my dad Koganei, he's always like that." But when he turned to Koganei he didn't even seem to have heard him at all. "Hello Koganei, Earth to Koganei!"

"So why are you here all of a sudden? We haven't seen you since the Ura Buto Sajin ended. You didn't even tell us where you were going."

"Well… I uh had some personal business to take care of. And…Koganei started to blush. I need a place to stay" Maybe it was a bad idea to come back.

Hmm… so he doesn't want to talk about it eh. All right I'll just give him some space. "Well why didn't you say so!" And he slapped Koganei's back, which almost knocked him to the ground. "Hmm, there's one big problem though we only have two rooms. Kaa-san and Dad each took a room and I'm sleeping on our only sofa. Hey, maybe I can call the others to see if they have any room."

Koganei released a relieved smile. "Thanks onii-chan!" Before he knew it the whole gang was there except for Tokiya of course.

"Hey Koganei long time no see!" As Domon smacked him in the head.

"Where were you Koganei?" said Ganko.

"You got us worried kiddo," cried out Kando. And he jumped on to Koganei's head.

"Hi Koganei-kun!" Yanagi greeted forming a sweet smile. Koganei was about to jump and hug her, but he changed his mind when he saw Recca shooting daggers at him.

"Hehe didn't know you guys missed me that much." God I didn't realize I'd miss them a lot as well…I guess they're the only friends I have.

"Ah don't get so cocky, you're lucky we care 'bout you or Fuko-chan would have blown you away by now." And she punched Koganei's arm. "So why did you call us up for Recca?"

"You see Koganei needs a place to stay and my house is not big enough for him because of Kaa-san staying here. I thought maybe one of you guys have room at your places."

"Sorry can't help you this time, Koganei my tiny place is packed with Ganko, the stuff animal, and my dad," Fuuko replied.

"Me either, my mom's flower shop is big enough for only two people and the rest of it is filled with flowers, I'm surprised I can still fit in it, hahaha!" laughed Domon. Everyone sweatdropped.

"Hey how about the ice man?" suggested Recca.

"Are you crazy? This is the same guy we're talking about right? If we are, what makes you think Mi-chan will agree in taking Koganei in?" asked Fuuko.

"Well wait a minute it doesn't sound like such a bad idea. He does have a big house and he lives alone," pointed out Domon.

"I don't think Mikagami-senpai is mean anymore," said Yanagi even though she had to admit that he sometimes scared her with his cold personality.

"Well then if you guys think its such a good idea why don't you guys call him," dared Fuuko.

Both Recca and Domon faced each other with frightened faces. "Um, I don't think so."

Fuuko gave out a sigh. "You guys are hopeless. Fine I'll do it since you guys are such chickens." But when she turned around to face them they all including Koganei were sitting in front of the TV playing video games and stuffing themselves with chips. With Yanagi urging and giving them more food.

"Damn them!" She took a deep breath and dialed Mi-chan's phone number.
