Hey everyone! Sorry this took so long to get out I have been out of state visiting my family! This chapter is short but I'll try and get another one out again soon!

Chapter 6: Boring Meetings and Saving Kita

Kagome, Shizen, Hitaru and Kazero made there way to the council room where they were to meet the others to discuss…something. It had been hard getting Shinya and Rihatsu up, those two slept like the dead. As they were walking down the hall Kagome was approached by her head maid. The woman had her gray hair tied in a French knot at the back of her head. Her eyes were a pale blue; she was slender and tall about 6 feet. Her face was covered in smile lines. She was an ancient priestess.

"Lady Kagome." She said and bowed to Kagome and the other three men with her.

"What can I do for you Elise?" Kagome asked softly.

"Kita-sama left this note for you Kagome-sama." Elise replied.

Kagome took the note from her head maid and dismissed her with a thank you. She gently cut the seal being extremely careful with her claws. She removed the slip of cream colored paper from the envelope, it smelled like vanilla, Kita's scent. The note read:

Dear Kagome,

I left earlier to the club to go over tonight's show. It's supposed to be something special tonight. Jimmy is really nervous that the club is going to lose customers if they don't like the show tonight. I'll see you when I get home.

Kagome tucked the letter away in her pocket. Jimmy was the owner of the club that Kita worked at. Jimmy was about 6'6 and pure muscle; not an ounce of fat on him. His skin was dark enough to be called black and his eyes were a dark brown. He looked very formidable but there was just one tiny problem with his `scary' image. He was a huge softie; he cried at Disney movies, fainted at the sight of blood and was a sucker for romance. It was awfully endearing.

Kagome adored him. He was like a teddy bear, a nice big huggable teddy bear. He made sure that Kita was safe during work. Kita worked at the club Forbidden Pleasures. He was a stripper. Kita was a submissive; he was not a dominant in Kagome's `pack' that made him vulnerable. Kagome was snapped out of her musings as she ran into Hitaru's back sending them both to the floor Kagome on top of his back straddling it. She blinked and stood quickly offering a hand up.

"Sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going." Kagome said her face slightly pink.

"No Problem." Hitaru said his crimson eyes dancing in amusement. Kagome smiled and ruffled his hair; he pouted and stole a kiss. It was Kagome's turn to pout. Shizen and Kazero were highly amused. Kagome's eyes took on a mischievous light. The other three with her immediately became weary, especially Hitaru.

Kagome pounced on the fire demon causing him to give a startled yelp as the two rolled and wrestled into the council room. Everyone was startled and stared at the two as they play-wrestled and growled at each other like two puppies. Shinya, Jigoku and another male laughed quietly while everyone else looked on amused. Kagome looked up and turned red. `Shit…how did we get in here?' Kagome thought to herself.

"Uh…Hi?" Kagome said with an innocent smile.

"Get off of me `Gome!!" Hitaru whined from underneath her. Kagome rolled off and stood in one graceful motion. She spotted Ryu standing near Shinya, Jigoku and Riko. Riko was another one of her `pack'. He was a dominant, Shinya was Neutral, and Jigoku was Neutral. Riko had beautiful amber colored eyes his hair was dark brown and fell around his face in soft curls. He was a Panther Youkai.

When everyone was settled around the table Koenma started to speak about his worries. About what could happen should Naraku gain free reign and access to Ningenkai. It would mean complete and utter destruction. Kagome was half-listening to him and half thinking about if she would get out of the `meeting' in time to pick Kenji up from work. It seemed that everyone except Koenma and Kuwabara which was; Sesshoumaru, Saito, Kashaku, Kiro, Hitaru, Kazero, Yusuke, Kurama, Hiei, Ryu, Shinya, Jigoku and Riko noticed that Kagome's head was somewhere else. They were quite shocked that Kagome seemed to be, the keyword being seemed, listening intently to Koenma.

"What do you think? Should we just attack Naraku head on? Perhaps we should use bait? Or…" Kagome snorted when Koenma said that.

"Naraku is not stupid Koenma. He's a genius. Do not underestimate his capability and his battle tactics. That will no doubt get you and your people killed. Only an idiot would be so foolhardy to do such a thing." Kagome said calmly. Her eyes showed her rage at the very idea of using bait or going in head on. Her eyes glowed a deep fire engine red and bled into the whites of her eyes. Riko stood and came to her side calming his mistress instantly. Jigoku, Kita, Shinya, and Riko were hers; bonded to her by blood her `demon servants' but they were so much more than that.

"O-okay we won't do that then." Koenma stuttered out to the angry woman.

Riko whispered something into Kagome's ears and massaged her tense muscles. Shinya and Jigoku came to stand to the right and left of Kagome; flanking her like bodyguards. Her eyes lost there red hue and bled back to there original serene blue. She glared hard at Koenma causing him to cringe and back away from her as much as he could. Riko continued to massage her shoulders and gently licked her cheek in comfort. Kagome emitted a deep purr to soothe the three distraught men. The Reikai Tantei and Ryu watched all of this in fascination.

"They are Kagome's `demon servants' for all eternity, bound to her by blood. Being her `servant' is considered a reward. She only has four `demon servants' no human ones and a few vampire ones and her animals." Shizen explained to the detectives.

Shinya shifted into his koinu form which was his true form just smaller. He was about the size of a well…koinu a puppy. His fur was golden with different variations of blonde and his eyes were a reddish-brown. He cuddled into her lap and growled quietly in pleasure as Kagome stroked his fur. She made sure to get behind the ears, under the chin and on his belly especially. Shinya closed his eyes in bliss and continued his pleased growls.

"Naraku is a brilliant and malicious asshole. I wouldn't hold it against him to cheat. Don't forget bad guys don't have rules or morals that's the reason they're the bad guys. He hardly ever attends his battles in person; he prefers to send his kugutsu instead. He is a gutless wretch just like Inuyasha." Kagome said perfectly calm again.

"How is it you know all of this Kagome-sama?" Koenma asked politely.

Everyone's eyes turned to Kagome, even her servants and she stiffened immediately. Kagome had her eyes narrowed into slits and her back was ramrod straight. She looked at Koenma and gave him her famous `Glare of Death'.

"That is none of your business." She said in a clipped tone.

She turned away from everyone in the room, clenched and unclenched her fists. Her jaw was also clenched in an effort to rein her memories from resurfacing. She knew that she would have to come clean with them soon. She knew that they would have to know what happened to her all of those years ago starting from when she was a child. She just didn't want to. `Was that such a crime?' Kagome thought bitterly, `Is it such a crime to want to protect them from the knowledge of my past. Protect them from the same nightmares I have to face every night. Is it so wrong to want to keep them safe from Naraku's clutches? To keep them whole? Naraku almost succeeded in breaking me before, I will not allow it to happen to them.'

Kagome was taken out of her contemplation of her past by one of her Spanish maids Sophia busting into the room talking in rapid Spanish. The meeting started at about 7:00 Pm and at present it was close to 12:00. `Where did all the time go?' Kagome thought to herself. No one else besides Kagome and Kiro understood a word that was coming out of Sophia's mouth.

Her dark curls were mused and her eyes just as dark as her hair was wild. Her skin was also unusually pale. She made wild hand gestures and Kagome spoke softly in Spanish trying to comfort the distraught woman and coax out whatever information that Kagome needed to know. Kagome's eyes widened when she found out what had happened and she rushed out of the room in one burst of wind.

"Where'd she go?" Yusuke questioned.

"It seems that someone decided to take advantage of Kita, Kagome's off to rescue her little leopard. She will not let him be hurt, nor will she let anyone take advantage of him. He is her petite léopard, her little leopard. (I think that's right.)

~*~With Kagome

Kagome was speeding down the streets to Forbidden Pleasures. No one touches what is mine, No one....' Kagome thought growling to herself scaring a few of the other drivers. She pulled into a vacant spot; the only reason in which the spot was vacant was because it was a handicap stall. She was PISSED. She pushed pass the vampire bouncer BJ with a warning glance. He stood aside; she was after all the Queen of the Damned, the Queen of the Vampires.

She glared at the other bouncers and threw them into the wall parallel to her. She stalked over to Jimmy and picked him up off the floor and hissed in his ear. "Where is mon petite léopard?"

"The two men and woman took him out the back door Kagome, I'm truly sorry I couldn't help him." Jimmy said brown-black eyes pleading with her to forgive him. Kagome hissed like a cat and stormed through the back door claws itching to rip something apart.

She heard the cries of HER petite léopard. She let her eyes go completely Midnight blue. Her pupils were almost non-existent. Her vampire and demonic sides were hissing in disagreement with the harsh treatment of what was there. Those two men and that woman would die tonight. She turned and glanced at the two men, one blonde-blue eyed, one black haired-green eyed and the woman was blonde haired-brown eyed. They were all overweight and dressed up. Kagome stood quietly behind them not making a single noise not even breathing.

She picked the two men up by there necks and smashed there heads together causing their skulls to shatter and spill brains and other bodily objects out. She grabbed the woman and choked her before completely beheading her. After she was finished with her job she licked her claws clean and growled a question at her leopard.

"Are you alright Kita?" She asked the handsome stripper.

He nodded slightly. Kita was 5'9, well-built and he was a complete softie; a submissive. He had dark auburn hair to his knees and beautiful violet eyes. He was soft looking. With his looks he was very popular amongst a certain type of clientele. Pedophilia's in particular. They had sexual desires for children. He may not have been a child but he still had an innocent face and his skin was like silk over steel, not a single hair on his body except on his head.

Kagome gently nuzzled him and crooned to him softly. She lapped at his skin and nipped at him as he groaned. She nudged him to a standing position. Her instincts were slowly coming down and her eyes returned to normal. She led him to her car and strapped him in. She took off back home immediately her thoughts still on Kita.

"What happened tonight mon petite léopard?" Kagome inquired.

"After my set I was backstage getting ready to go home when those three approached me," he stated and shuddered in revulsion slightly, "They dragged me out of the club, Jimmy tried to stop them but he couldn't. They were going to rape and molest me Kagome…" He sobbed out at last.

Kagome pulled over on the side of the road and removed her seatbelt and hugged him pulling him into her arms after removing his seatbelt and growling softly to soothe him. She stroked his hair and placed nips, kisses and licks on his face and neck. Just her touch soothed him. Her kisses and other attentions did wonders to relax him. He was completely lax by the time they got on the road again.

By the time Kagome arrived everyone except the younger children were in the living room waiting for her. She came through the front door with Kita cradled in her arms. Quite a feat to most because Kita was 3 inches taller then her 5'6 frame and probably a good 20-25 pounds heavier. She glanced up from the leopard youkai in her arms to the shocked and worried faces of her guests.

"Shinya, come here." Kagome said her voice quiet.

Shinya approached her wearing a white fighting outfit, his blonde hair in a braid and his crimson eyes worried. Kagome growled softly to him and told him through there link, `Shinya take Kita to my room, he will be staying with me tonight.' Kagome told him. `Okay Kagome. Are you two alright?' Shinya asked worried for the two. `He will be fine. I am well.' Was Kagome's response. Shinya nodded and took Kita into his arms and set out to follow Kagome's orders.

"Is there a reason that you are all up and about?" Kagome asked her voice blank.

"We were worried for your well being Kagome-sama." Kurama said hoping to soothe her already rattled nerves.

Kagome nodded.

"I am fine, you should rest." Kagome told the room full of worried people.

With that she turned and walked down the hallway disappearing from there line of sight. Tohru got up silently and followed her sister. Kagome walked out to the gardens and sat beneath a willow tree. Tohru took the seat next to her sister staying silent the entire time. Tohru started to shiver because of the cool night air and Kagome silently pulled her into the shelter of her arms. Kagome's body heat is normally either colder then most or hotter than most. It was hot tonight.

"How was your day?" Kagome asked her sister.

"It was fun. I love your house Kagome. Will you spend the day with me tomorrow?" Tohru asked her sister. Kagome looked down at her and nodded.

They talked quietly for an hour or so, mostly about Tohru considering Kagome didn't answer many questions, since she was the one asking most of them. When Tohru fell asleep Kagome carried her to her room and tucked her into the pale peach silk sheets. Kagome laid a kiss on Tohru's forehead before leaving the room to her own.

When Kagome arrived at her room she saw Shinya and Kita already in bed. She removed her clothing and put on basketball shorts and left on her sports bra and crawled into bed spooning Kita. Shinya was cuddled into Kagome's back draping his arms and legs around her as best he could. Kagome fell into a light slumber filled with dark images of what was once her `home'.

A/n: There another chapter finished although this one is much shorter then my others and for that I apologize.
