Purple_Pixie- Why hello every one! I'm sorry I haven't updated in a while I have other fics at other sites and other stuff to do. But since my Birthday was April 20th I decided to update! I want to thank every one that reviewed.

Scissors- I know she may seem bossy but the way she acts now is for a reason that I have and don't worry I think it's better than the way Tohru always acts.

“Damn is it cold out here or what?” Turning to look at Kyo Audie shakes her head at his statement.

“What can't the wittly kitty cat take a wittly cold?” she coos in a baby tone making the hot tempered orange top glare at her. She shakes her head and continues to trudge through the snow.

Currently Audie and Kyo are walking in the snow to the Sohma main house. Today was the meeting with Akito, how fun. Shigure couldn't go because he was being held captive in his office by his editor. Yuki was sick and currently in no condition to escort Audie. So that left the young man walking beside her.

Kyo was a little hesitant to escort her to the Sohma main house but with no one to do it instead and the risk of her getting wounded by Akito made up his mind for him. He would be in the back of the room with Hatori like in the meeting for Tohru. Just to watch over Audie's welfare.

Glancing over Kyo noticed that Audie was happily skipping down the side walk humming a random song. `How can she be so happy when were about to go meet the biggest basterd ever?' Audie notices Kyo looking at her like she had just jumped off the crazy bridge.

“What?” she didn't know what she was doing wrong, this Akito person wasn't going to scare her like he seemed to do every one else. He's just a person, right?

“Why the hells are you so damn happy?” She shrugs and goes back to skipping down the side walk.

“I don't know!” Letting Akito get to her was just what he wanted and she doesn't play by anybody's rules.

“Come on Kyo-Kyo, lets get this meeting over with!” Audie grabs Kyo's hand and starts dragging the stubborn cat behind her.

“You don't have to go so god damn fast, AND DON'T CALL ME KYO-KYO!!” He yells at Audie trying to get her to slow down or stall, so maybe they won't have to go.

“Kyo we're going no matter what so come on!” Audie pulls on Kyo's hand harder as she runs down the snow packed side walk.

“AUDIE” looking around Audie spots Momiji on top of wall to the Sohma house.

“Hello Momjij-chan!!” Audie waves to the little blonde sitting on the wall while the carrot top next to her grumbles about Momiji.

“Come on in!” Momiji yells down to her from the wall as he jumps off and disappears into the inner house. Looking at Kyo, he's just staring off to the side at some random object. Shrugging Audie pushes open the huge main doors.

“Wow…..” The place is like a miniature village. Looking around Audie just stares in aw at the vastness of this place. It's HUGE!

“Welcome to the house of Sohma!” Audie jumps slightly at the sound of Momiji's excited voice. She looks at the little boy and smiles.

“Why thank you Momiji-chan.”

“Do you see those forests back there?” Momiji says pointing to some forests way off on some mountains.

“Um…yeah?”

“Well that is all Sohma property only people that are cursed or know about the curse live there!” Audie's eyes widen in surprise. `The Sohma's seem like a big family. Like the Mafia! Mafia……….oh that's not good.'

“You guys are a big family aren't you?” Momiji nods his head enthusiastically.

“You don't…kill people…do you?” Hey she just had to make sure she wasn't getting her self into the Mafia of Japan…that would not be a good thing.

Momiji and Kyo look at her like there are a few fries missing from her Happy Meal. She starts to feel nervous. `Crap I think they do kill people and I just figured out there big secret and now I'M NEXT!' Thinking quickly she comes up with some good ideas.

“I SWEAR! I won't tell anyone that you kill people. And if you do you can…..can…..can….um…..give my brain to the purple aliens who will implant it into a Chihuahua and make re-runs of the Taco Bell commercials!” ok that was really random, not to mention stupid.

“Um…Audie-chan there are no purple aliens and we don't kill people either.” Momiji says still looking at her funny.

“Yeah that is the most stupidest thing I have ever heard!” Audie walks up to Kyo and smacks him on the head.

“It was NOT! I REALLY THOUGHT YOU GUYS WERE THE MAFIA FROM JAPAN!”

“WHERE WOULD YOU GET THAT STUPID IDEA FROM?” Audie thinks about it for a couple of seconds, wow her answer is really stupid.

“FROM MOMIJI TELLING ME ABOUT HOW MANY OF YOU THERE WERE!” Kyo stops….wow her answer was pretty stupid.

“THAT'S STUPID!” Well at least Kyo doesn't hide his opinion.

“I KNOW IT WAS! BUT THE MAFIA USUALLY HAS BIG FAMILYS SO I JUMPED TO CONCLUSIONS!!! ARE YOU HAPPY NOW!! I JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS!!” Audie screams in Kyo's face while he just grins.

“Yes I am very happy now thank you!” With Kyo's happy smirk he turns away from Audie and starts walking towards Hatori's house. Audie just stands there, and stands there. What the hell just happened?

“What just happened?” Audie questions Momiji who was still standing next to her looking a little dazed.

“You and Kyo started yelling and you admitted that what you said was stupid and Kyo smiled and you admitted that you jumped to conclusions. And I think that is about it. Now we have to go get Hatori so we can go to the meeting!” Momiji grabs Audie's hand and starts pulling her towards Hatori's house.

Damn now she knows what happened. She admitted that she said something stupid and Kyo now knows and is happy because of it….damn. Audie sadly walk to Hatori's house with Momiji pulling her all the way. Kyo won!

Walking into Hatori's office Audie looks around. `Wow awfully boring' Everything is boring and…professional. JUST LIKE HATORI!!!!! Clearing her throat she looks at Hatori.

“Um….when is this meeting going to start?” Hatori looks at her and stands up.

“Right now” He takes her shoulder and turns her around to face the door.

“Come along Kyo don't want to make Akito wait any longer now would we?” Audie turns her head to the side to look at Kyo. He looks like the usually cocky, I-Don't-Give-A-Shit-And-Your-Not-Going-To-Make-Me-Care kind of look. But under closer inspection Audie found what was really going on hidden in his fiery red orbs.

Kyo was scared. Absolutely frightened. She didn't quite understand the last emotion she saw flashing through his eyes but she knew it had something to do with this meeting. She turned to look down the hall that Hatori was currently pushing her down.

Audie turns to look back at Kyo but he's not looking up only watching his feet walk. This is not good Kyo is not supposed to get scared. He was the reason she wasn't scared but now that he was she was absolutely frightened.

Suddenly Hatori stops pushing her. She turns her head back around and she comes face to face with a door. Hatori walks up to the door and gives it a good knock

“Who is it?” is heard from the other side, must be Akito.

“Miss Smith is here.” Hatori says calmly while eyeing Audie, probably making sure she didn't make a break for it.

“Bring her in.” She sighs and takes a big gulp; this is going to be loads of fun. Hatori grabs Audie's upper arm and brings her to the door. Hatori slides open the door and Audie calmly walks in her bluish-silver orbs scanning the room for this Akito person.

She spots him at the front of the room just sitting. Walking up to him she gets on her knees kneeling before him. She hears Kyo and Hatori doing the same a little further back in the room. She's glad they're there but she's also kind of nervous, if they have to be there for `safety precautions'.

“So your Audie.” she nods her head numbly while still bowing before him. Her dirty blonde hair covering her face from his view.

“You're such an ugly girl. I don't know why they all like you so much.” Audie's head snaps up to look at Akito. How dare he insult her like that! She has never met someone as rude and inconsiderate as him.

“Well I'm sorry I'm not to your liking.” She counters. Hey her courage is coming back. I hope it'll do her some good. Akito turns his head to look at her his black as coal eyes burning a hole through her bluish-silver eyes.

“And an attitude, that'll have to change if you want to keep your memories.” Audie's eyes widen oh yeah she forgot that he has the authority to say whether or not she got to keep her memories. Wow now she wishes she hadn't said anything.

“What makes you think you can keep the secret?” Audie frowns, why wouldn't she keep the secret?

“Do you think you can lift the curse?” Her frown deepens. Lift the curse? She would love to be able to lift the curse……but how?

“But you can't! You can't lift the curse! You can't lift the cloud that hangs over each and every Sohma's head! Now can you? You're just a stupid, ugly girl.” Wow someone needs anger management. What's his beef all she ever did was try to be nice and the first thing out of his mouth is `Your ugly' what a nice way to greet someone.

“I Never Said That! I never said I was here to lift the curse! I would love to do so but I CAN'T!” Audie stands up looking directly into Akito's eyes.

“What is running through your mind that you think you can berate me and tell me I can't help them.” Audie says pointing to Kyo and Hatori who have looked up by now and are staring wide eyed at her.

“Ya wanna know what! I think I WANT to lift the curse now! Just to spite you! You think that as long as you have control over these good people that you can manipulate ever thing around them! Well guess what buddy! I will put an end to the curse and your evil rein!” Aude was now currently right up in Akito's face looking directly in his eyes.

All of a sudden she is slapped straight across the face. Her eyes widen and her hand fly's to her cheek. “How dare you talk to me that way?” She turns back to look at him only to have him slap her again.

“I AM THE HEAD OF THIS FAMILY AND WHAT I SAY IS LAW AND THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO TO CHANGE THAT.” Suddenly she is kicked in the stomach. Doubling over Audie grasps her stomach as pain surges through her body.

“YOU CAN TRY.” She's grabbed by her hair and thrown to the ground landing in a heap on the floor.

“BUT YOU MOST LIKELY WON'T SUCCED.” Akito starts kicking Audie repeatedly, Kyo and Hatori jump up. Everything starts to get funny and the walls start to spin into a little black dot in the center. It's making her sick; suddenly every thing goes fuzzy, now she's spinning in a fuzzy room, perfect. Hatori runs and try's to restrain Akito while Kyo runs to Audie's aid.

“AND I'LL MAKE SURE OF THAT.” Akito gives her one last kick as Hatori grabs him and pulls him away from her. The black hole in the center starts to grow bigger and bigger as it slowly consumes every thing and one in the room. Then all that's left is darkness as Audie finally blacks out.

“Kyo, get Audie out of here.” Kyo nods as he bends down, picking her up bridle style and carrying her back to Hatori's office.

Groaning Audie rolls over. Her body hurts so bad. What the hell happened? Opening her eyes they are met by Hatori's blank and boring walls of his office. `He really needs something to brighten up this room'

“Good your up.” Audie looks over and sees Hatori sitting in his office chair watching her. She rubs her eyes trying to get the sleep out.

“How long was I out?” Audie asks Hatori as she rubs her stomach but pulls away as more pain shoots through her body.

“For a day, he kicked you pretty hard.” Audie groans again and flops her head back down on the pillow, why me?

Looking around the room from her current position she spots Kyo on the floor next to her sleeping. She turns and looks at Hatori with a frown.

“What time is it?” Hatori looks at the clock on his desk.

“3:48 in the afternoon. Why?” Audie yawns and looks at Kyo.

“Oh him, he's been up all night. Wouldn't fall asleep, just kept watching you and taking care of you.” Audie smiles at this. Does this mean that the little carrot top cares? I hope it does. Lying back down she rests her head on the pillow as she watches Kyo sleep. He looks so peaceful….don't they all.

Placing her hand next to his she intertwines her pinky with his. Smiling she closes her eyes and lets the darkness consume her being but this time she doesn't mind.
