“Huh, why wouldn't I be okay?” I was now really confused.

 

“You mean you don't remember what happened last night?” Kyo now had a shocked expression on his face.

 

“No, not really all I remember is that I was at the movies with my friends and then they all left me by myself and then I was walking down the sidewalk. There's where my memory stops of last night. Why did something happen?” I all of a sudden jumped to my feet and was staring down at Kyo. “Oh, sorry I'm over reacting.”

 

“Well, if it was me in your place last night I would be over reacting, too. Well, seeing that you don't remember, I guess I'll tell you.” He said as he stared at me.

`Man, there's nothing to do around here. God, it's boring.' Then I heard a women yell, “Watch out!” I looked up and saw an out of control car going towards a girl that just turned around and then did not move. Everyone else was running away and not even trying to help her. `Shit that girls going to get run over if I don't do something and quick.' I was snapped out of my thoughts as the car neared the girl. All of a sudden, I was over there in a second and I grabbed her by her waist, so that I wouldn't transform. When we landed the car had already hit a pole and was about to explode. I got up and grabbed the girl and ran as fast as I could. I managed to get far enough so we wouldn't be hurt. But the blast still threw me off my feet and made it to where the girl would land on top of me so she wouldn't get hurt. When she landed on me, I transformed and ran into an alley way and took my clothes with me. I watched her as I waited, soon I transformed back and put my clothes on. `Well, now what? She doesn't have a card on her and I didn't see anyone walking with her............Damnit now what do I do. I can't just drop her off somewhere. Fine I'll take her to Shigure's he won't mind hopefully. But knowing him he'll probably like having another girl in his house. That pervert!'

“And that's how you got here. I put you in my room since I like the roof so I didn't mind,” Kyo stopped explaining and took a deep breath. “So, are you okay? Do you have anything major? Does anything hurt?” Kyo was sitting with his arms crossed acting like a tough man. He was hot, too. But not as hot as Yuki.

 

“Well, I've been walking around and haven't felt any pain yet. So I guess I'm okay.” I said. “But, thank you, so much Kyo,” unconsciously I had grabbed his hand and was now holding it with two hands. When, I noticed that I was holding his hand, I started to blush the deepest red there is and then got up and walked outside to get some fresh air.

 

“Kyo, do you know how much she is grateful to you? If you can believe it she has worse of a life than any of us in the zodiac. I don't know if I should tell you but Takuma, has nothing left for her in life exempt her mothers wish. Two years ago a hit man was hired to kill her father, mother, and herself. They killed her father and then right before her mother died her mother told her to live on and the hit man was hired by her own family. No one in her family gave her any sympathy they just cotinued to give her a hard time and to make sure her life was full of sadness and misery. Before her mother and father was killed the family treated them like they were the punching bag for the family. If someone in the family did something wrong Takuma and her family was the one's always tortured. Takuma told me that she was going to fight back one time but her mother just smiled at her and to just forget it. Could you imagine a life like that? I can't believe she has suffered this all by herself. She also said that I was the first to hear the story,” Shigure looked up to see the most pained group of people.

 

“I can't believe that her family would hire a hit man and she saw her dad killed and her mother's last words,” Yuki was debating on wether to go out and comfort the girl or not.

 

By now Tohru was crying and looked as if she also saw her own death. “Who is *hick* she *hick* staying with?” Tohru managed to get out between intakes.

 

“She lives by herself, she makes her own money to pay for rent, food, and school, and she lives by your high school. Oh, she'll be starting at your school Monday,” Shigure said sad as he started and then started getting a little more cheerful.

 

“I'll walk her home when she's ready to go,” Kyo said as he stared at the table with a blank expersion. “We don't want anything to happen to her.”

 

“Oh, no! I forgot! I have to go! Bye, thank you all,” I said as I waved goodbye and raced down the hall to the front door where my shoes where.

 

“Hey! Where are you going?” yelled Shigure from the table. Then, I heard foot steps coming towards me. I looked up and saw Kyo in front of me glaring as if I had insulted him.

 

“Oh well, my dog is at home and is still waiting on me since last night. I have to go take care of him and feed him,” I yelled back to them, but soon they were all right in front of me. “Um.........did I do something that everyone is staring at me?” for was suprized when I saw tears being whipped away from Tohru's eyes, Yuki looking at me with concern, Kyo looking the same way he was when he first caught me putting my shoes on, and Shigure still looking like he was thinking about something hard. “Okay, I am freaking out now and I'm just going to go home before I'm mauled. Bye and Thanks again.”

 

“Wait!” Shigure looked like a kid finding the best tasting candy in the world and it was all his. “How about,” he was acting like he was thinking about it again, “....you coming to live with us? Like I said before Yuki, Tohru, and Kyo all go to the same school you're transferring to and you won't have to pay the rent and for food, but you'll still have to buy your clothes. And besides Tohru wants a girl to talk to rather than just us boys all the time. And as for the room situation. I think Kyo won't mind lending his room to you when he wants to sleep on the roof. What do you say? We all would like it allot if you came to live with us.”
