~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Walking back to Shigure's~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Hey, what about some food. It's already one o'clock, I'm paying. I have enough money to pay for ten people and still be able to go shopping,” I said as I turned around to face everyone with a smile. I still had a hold of Togy's leash, too.
“Well, to tell you the truth I am hungry. It's fine with me, what about you guys?” Shigure said as he looked around for a good place to eat. We were only five miles away from his house.
“Yeah fine,” Kyo said in a `I don't care' mood.
I just started to laugh at how Kyo was acting. He's so confused right now. Of course I didn't care if he awnsered that way, I just thought it was funny. “What about you two?”
“Are you sure you don't care? I mean I can pay for myself,” Tohru said starting to get a `You don't have to do that' look.
“If I minded, would I have asked?” `I guess I have to get used to that part of Tohru. I don't mind if she does that anyway. She's just one of those people that worry more about someone else than themselves. I like that.' “Come on lets eat there. I've eaten there before, they got really good food,” I said as I ran up to Kyo and grabbed his hand and dragged him into the dinner, with Togy right behind me the whole time so nothing would happen and to make sure no one would try anything.
“Hey! Welcome back Takuma. Oh, who's your friend?” said a lady behind the cashregister. “I'll be right over, how many you got with you?” she yelled after me.
“I've got five today, Tampopo. Thanks,” I said as I ran to my usual place to eat. The spot was near the back of the restaurant with a window showing a gorgeous garden outside, with flowers and a little spring. “This is where I always eat. Sometimes I even go out there to eat. It's so pretty isn't it?” I said as the others sat down.
“Yea, it's gorgeous! How did you know this was back here?” Yuki said as he marveled at the sight of the garden.
“Well, after my parents died this was the store my friends parents owned. I never knew it was back here until Tampopo came and looked around. She found the garden and decided to put a window in and to show the garden to the people sitting here. Then I came in a week later, to greet her, when she recognized me. I guess she recognized me from the photos of me on the walls in the back. She asked why I looked like a slob? Because back then I couldn't find any work that would pay a good wage to me. I told her that I was living by myself and I was managing. Then just like I did at your house I started crying. She didn't ask me what happened she just brought me to this seat and showed me the garden. I was stunned at it's beauty and ran outside and was happy again. So thats why they keep this table restricted for me and my friends.” I was looking out the window the whole time I told the story. Everyone seemed to understand, and didn't ask about anything.
“Well, Takuma, who's your friends. You never bring anyone in here. I'm glad you found some friends. Now you guys take good care of her. Otherwise, I will make you pay,” Tampopo said as she pulled her sleeve away and flexing her arm, and then flexed her muscles.
“Now, now. Please don't get into a fight, I don't want to be the one to bail you out again,” I said with my hands raised. “Anyway this is Shigure, Yuki, Tohru, and Kyo,” I said as I pointed at each one. Matter of fact, thats the way we were sitting. We were sitting at a round table and I was sitting between Shigure and Kyo. Plus, Togy sitting at my feet.
“Oh, ok. Have you been training, though? You know that you might need to use those muscles once in a while,” she said with a grin. “Ok, how about after you eat, we fight to see if you kept your training up? Sound good?” `I guess I have, too. She'll never let me leave here with out a fight. Good thing I was training, `cause I bit the dust hard last time.'
“Yeah, okay. But I don't think we should fight in the garden again it took me a week to get it back to it's old self,” I said with a defeated look.
“Hey! Don't start whining when you get good money, okay?” Tampopo said with a victory laugh.
“Yea, yea. I know, but right now I think everyone is hungry. I'll take my usual,” I said as I looked around the restaurant to see it was almost empty. “Not many people today, huh?”
“No, not really. Today I'm closing early,” she said as she took the last order of the group. “It's been so busy, I can afford to cut one day short.”
“Oh, okay,” I said as I nodded my head so she could leave. When she was gone I decided I would wait for someone to say something.
We all just sat there marveling the garden. I quietly got up and went to the bathroom. No one noticed that had I left, exept Togy. When I reached the bathroom I went into the bathroom and closed the door. After, I was done I was about to walk out until I thought that I would just let them be alone. `Nothing will happen to them, Togy's with them. I don't have to worry. I-I think Kyo fights. He does seem to be that kind of person. I think I'll challenge him sometime and see how good he is. Yea, that would be awesome! I'll do that later, I think our food is done.'
“Hey, Tampopo. Let me help you with that,” I said as I saw her getting our food.
“Okay, sure,” she said as she gave me two trays of food, out of five trays. “Hey, Takuma, wait a sec,” she said as she put her three trays down.
“Yes, is there something you need?” I said putting my two trays down, too.
“Well, the one boy, the orange head.......is he your boyfriend?" she said hesitantly, but then gave me a wicked smile.
“Uh, what gave you that idea?” said starting to get nevous.
“Well, you came though here holding his hand and it seems to really look after you.” Tampopo looked a little concerned, yet happy.
“Well, the thing is that I think he likes me and I know now that I like him. We only met yesterday. He saved my life from an out of control car,” I said as I looked down trying to hide my blush.
“What do you mean out of control car!? You know that you can dodge something like that!” Tampopo was yelling and everyone in the restaurant could hear her.
“Tampopo, calm down. I turned around to late and I froze then Kyo saved me and took me back to his house to make sure I was okay. I'm fine see no injuries,” I said as she was calming down.
“Just don't do a dumb move like that again, okay?” Tampopo said as she hugged tight.
“Okay,” was the only thing I could manage before I had to fight the tears. Luckily I won the battle.
We both picked up the trays and went up to our table. Now only Tohru was looking out the window and the boys were talking when I walked up. Kyo jumped up and said, “Where did you go I didn't even notice you get up.”
“I went to the bathroom, if you need to know and then Tampopo and I talked a little,” I said and it seemed to calm Kyo down and he sat back down. “Oh, Kyo you don't have to worry so much. I'll be fine.” I said as I sat the trays down to the correct people.
“Uh.....,” he said as a shad of pink showing up on his cheeks.
“*Giggle* Opps, I shouldn't of said that in-front of everyone. I'm sorry, Kyo,” I said with a sweet smile. 'Damn it! I probably just embarrest the hell out of him. Hope he doesn't take it serously.'
“So, Kyo. You do like Takuma, don't you?” Tampopo said jokenly.
“Shut up, Tampopo!" I said with my face brightening in one pacific color. "Lets just eat and forget it for now. Okay?!"
After my little burst of embarrsment and anger, everyone calmed down and started eating without another word about me and Kyo. 'Hehe, that was fun. But all things must come to an end. Even if we badly don't want it to end thats why you live life to it's fullest. Thats what I have learned and I'll always keep that in mind the next time I have another of these moments. Hmm, yes.......always.'
Authors Notes: Well sorry about no updates. The reason is because well theres alot of reasons. First, after graduation Anica S. asked all the girls if they wanted to come over that night. All of us went exept two. The ones that did go was- Ashley B., Cassie T., Tori G., Marah C., Cathleen H., Anica S., Nicole S., & Me (Shelby S.). The ones that couldn't go was Nasiha R.- because her religion won't let her sleep-over at any of her friends houses, & Katie G.- because she was leaving for Florida the next day and because she had so many cousins there too, and they all didn't want to hang around. Then the next day after graduation was Six Flags. My group was most the time Cat, Marah, Nasiha, Nicole, and myself. Sometimes Anica, Camron B., Cat, Marah, Nasiha, Nicole, Taylor H., Mikle ?, another girl I forgot what they called her, & me. Then after that, the next day actually, I had to do laundry, guard my dads guarden, pack, and then go camping up to today (Monday). And here I am! That was long. Well, the last line I typed I should really follow because when me and one of my brother's friends was talking, Nick S., we finally found something we were both on the same grounds about. And that would be..............animes such as, Family Guy, Robot Chicken, Tom Goes to the Mayor, Hunger Force, Ghost in the Shell, and others too. I was finally happy that I could talk to him about something I knew about than rather going, "Oh, yeah?" or "Oh." And seem totally stupid. (And I sorta have a crush on him. He's so fucking hot!) I better go I have an orthodonist today at 9:13 A.M. (Tuesday). Bye! Love you all and thank you so much for the review, Katara. I highly appriciate it! Night!
