Tohru walked down the hall. It was a sunny day outside. She looked around smiling sweetly to herself. Yuki and Kyo were else where and Saki and Arisa were playing cards. School was out but they had lingered after school for the game later that evening. It wasn't something she was normally into, but she was willing to try anything. She was glad she had the day off of work so she could be with them all.

She smiled silly to herself. She didn't notice the senpai in front of her. She looked up and saw him. He was a taller boy with dirty blond hair and blue eyes. He had a tough tossed look that reminded her a lot of Haru's only a lot less kind. He came over close to her.

"Hello sweet thing what you doing here after hours," he said in a deep ruff tone.

"Oh I'm here to watch the game later," she said with a smile at him, "My Tohru Honda its nice to meet you!"

"Well, Tohru Honda it's a pleasure to met you as well," he said scooting in closer to her. He was deliberately trying to get closer and closer. She didn't take heed of the motions until after he had her caged by the wall. Her mind she blank, and she couldn't figure out how she was going to get out of this. She wished desperately that one of her friends was with her.

"Huh what…what are you doing," she asked pulling her hands up to her chin trying to find from him. He only came closer. She could smell his breath with the light scent of garlic it carried. He put his arms on the walls cornering her even more.

"I'm stealing a kiss what do you think," he said leaning over and putting his lips on hers as she tried to struggle away. Yuki came around the corner further down the hall. His ears preceded Tohru's cries. He lifted is head to see her and her molester standing at the other side of the hallway. His feet started in a run before he got a second thought in and he galloped over to her in a full rage.

The teen didn't notice. He kept going at her. Finally he pulled her into him encircling her in his arms. There was a sudden puff sound and smoke. She gazed around confused. It looked as if one of the Sohma's was changing but who. She went to look around but her neck didn't work the right away and her whole body thrashed sending the boy away. He knocked into a wall and feel unconscious.

She feel down to the ground. Her arms felt short and unless her back feet tucked into to closely. What was going on? Her eyes were on either side of her head. She looked over at Yuki with one of them. He was giving her a stare of confusion and fear.

"What is it?" she asked him.

"I don't know how to say to this to you, but Miss Honda you're a crocodile," he said slowly as if admitting it to himself.

"But how can that be?" she cried. She realized her mouth was far to long and she was having a very hard time forming words.

"I don't know but we need to get you out of here," he said going over and picking her up, "God, your heavy."

"I'm sorry," she said apologetically. She stayed still trying to make things easier for him. As she looked back she saw her school outfit laying on the floor. She didn't say anything she knew she was a burden as it was. Kyo came down the hall and his eyes widened as he saw the crocodile in Yuki's arms. He ran to the rat.

"What in the hell are you doing with that?" he demanded strongly in his confusion.

"Its Tohru," Yuki said and as he heard footsteps at the other end of the hall he started to run to kept her out of sight.

"But how?" Kyo asked easily matching his speed.

"I don't know I hate to say this, but we have to get her back to Shigure he'll know," he said running out of the school and into the woods. Kyo grabbed her tail trying to help as much he could.

In the mean time Tohru was changing. She felt awkward, and all of the sudden the two boys felt like a huge threat. She had to hold back the urge to eat them.

They got to the house a little while later. It took about ten minutes for them taking the forest road. Yuki led them to the house and flung open the door.

"Shigure we need your help," he called desperately. With a poof and a cloud of smoke Tohru was Tohru again. She lay naked in Yuki's arms with Kyo holding her legs. Yuki held her around the waist at his hip so he didn't transform. Shigure came into the room with a huge smirk at seeing Tohru.

"Well I can see that. I know you two are inexperience but I had hoped you know how to do the basics at least," he said chuckling a little. Yuki and Kyo seemed confused then looked down. They saw Tohru them dropped her on the floor. He hit with a 'thud'. They both looked away blushing a deep crimson.

Shigure went over to her. He let a slight blush creep over his face. He took off the top layer of his yukata and put it over her. She sat up her whole face as red as it could get without exploding. She wrapped the clothing around herself. She sat up carefully. She looked up at Shigure sad and scared.

"What's wrong with me," she asked at the point of crying. She hung her head holding the clothing tighter.

"Oh, there is nothing wrong with you," he said rubbing her shoulder gently. Kyo looked over at him.

"How can you say that? She turned in to a freaking Crocodile!!! That's not normal. Something is wrong with her," Kyo said in an irritated tone. Tohru gave a look of fear and started to cry. If the Sohma's didn't understand then there was little hope anyone else would.

Yuki looked over and glared at Kyo. He raised his fist about to hit him but stopped seeing Shigure get up. Shigure walked up to Kyo. He looked the cat right in the eye. Then did something no one had expected. The ever pacifist Shigure punched Kyo right in the face. The Cat went sprawling to the floor on the opposite side of the room. He sat up after a moment holding his bleeding nose. Yuki looked at his older cousin amazed and a bit shocked.

"How dare you, Kyo? After all she's done for you. How could you treat her like that when you yourself are cursed far worse. She excepted you even in your ugliest form but now that she's like you, you basically shun her? You don't deserve her love," he said then spit on the floor by Kyo. Shigure went back to Tohru and hugged her head to his chest. She looked up at him careful not to embrace him.

"What's wrong with me Shigure," she asked her eyes still spilling out tears like crazy. Yuki came over and bent by her putting a hand on her shoulder. He didn't say anything but looked at her sympathetically.

"Your cursed," Shigure said making the boys look up at him more confused then ever.

"How can that be? I'm not a Sohma," she said looking Shigure in the eyes feeling if she looked at the other two she may break down. How could the look at her the same after this? "Anyhow I've never heard of a crocodile being a member of the Zodiac."

"Well it is. Or it was in the past," he said with a smile. Kyo got up and went over to Yuki.

"I think the mans gone nuts," he said to Yuki. The Rat glared at him.

"Don't talk to me," he said to the Cat then looked back to Shigure, "What do you mean?"

"Well there is a story," he started "A long time ago after the first feast God looked down and saw that he had forgotten a few new animals. He felt bad so he made another banquet. He invited the cat but he declined feeling stupid. But the other animals came. The party consist of the Hawk, the Wolf, the Bear, The Peacock, the Lion, The Crow, the Elephant, the Dolphin, The Unicorn, of course the Crocodile, the Bat and the Butterfly. As a parting gift for the last party he gave them each a year but for these creatures he had nothing. So he gave all 12 of them a cycle of the moon which makes a year." He took a deep breath.

"So, you mean there are more cursed like us," Yuki said looking somewhat hopeful and anxious.

"Yes, Yuki 12 more," Shigure said softly.

"Why? Why change? I've never done that be. Why haven't I been like this all my life. Why weren't there others before me," Tohru asked softly.

"So many whys! But lets see if why did you. Hmm well it would seem that your body reacts to hugging the same as ours," he said smiling "You most likely have I'm guessing you don't hug males often. There anyone before you because well I can't tell you for sure but I would guess it was due to the fact they may be living else were. Maybe they living else were," he said "Sohma's have moved away before its not unheard of."

"So, I'm a Sohma then," she asked slowly she stopped crying and sounded hopeful "I'm actually one of the family?"

"Yes very distantly. No wonder you have always been understand and close with the family. Well now I guess you have your own secret. I have to go call Akito," he said getting up.

"One more thing Shigure why did we change when she hugged us if she was one of the family," he asked.

"Well you see, the energy she has now is smaller then ours so when she hugged us the energy went from her to us and we changed leaving her energy less! That is you put the curse into energy terms! Or it could have just been a fluke. Well I should be getting to that phone," he said then giving Yuki a smirk "Why don't you go get her something to wear? Only if you want to!" He went into his office and picked up the phone. Then he closed the door.

"Oh yes," Yuki said racing upstairs. Kyo ran outside. He felt ashamed stupid and mortified. Shigure had yelled at him and he been right. How could he had reacted to Tohru like that? What was he going to say to make this better? He ran out of sight of the house and kept running.

Tohru sat stunned. I'm a Sohma I'm cursed, I'm one of them! She smiled slightly. It was exciting. She hadn't heard the others leave. Yuki came up behind her. He pushed a pushed a nightgown at her. She took it looking at him.

"I found this on your bed I hope that's ok," he said smiling. She took the outfit.

"Yes, of course," she said holding it close looking at him. He paused for a moment then realized he was still looking at her. He turned away.

"Please feel to free to change I won't look," he said his back to her. She got up and pulled on the nightgown over Shigure's yukata. She dropped it to the ground then straightened up it. She looked over to Yuki. She was blushing. 'So this is how he feel each time he changes in front of me. How odd. I feel so embarrassed. But I know I should make it seem like I don't feel that way or it will make him worse,' she thought to herself.

"Don't worry I knew you won't look. Well I'm dressed now," she said smiling. He turned around slowly looking at her carefully first. He smiled.

"I accidentally did earlier. I hope your not upset," he said trying not to sound to too much of anything especially excitement.

"I'm not really! Its ok! I know you didn't mean to do that. Its just something that happens sometimes," she explained she tried changing he subject, "You don't think the boy remembers do you?"

"I don't think so you hit him pretty hard on the head. Not that its your fault. If he does say anything people think it will be delusional," he decided.

"Yeah talking about things to come and all I have a test tomorrow would you help me study," she asked him. She sighed. It was unlikely he would actually want things to be the same. Things were different now. She was different. How could she think that things would just fall back into place.

"Of course!," he exclaimed, "What class?"

"Math," she explained as they started up the stairs. They looked over at one another and smiled. At that moment they both realized everything would be ok. Nothing had changed really. Actually things had made them closer.
