"Yuki, please follow me. You know what you've done so it is a waste to tell you," Akito said softly as he led the silver haired boy to a very familiar black room. He could feel the boy's shiver and a smile passed over his face. This would be fun.

He opened the door and gestured inside. The shutters over the one window in the room were closed, but yuki threw them open only to see the new bars placed upon it. "You honestly didn't expect me to leave the window unblocked after your last escapade, did you?" The boy shook his head, moving to the corner nearest the window.

"Now, Yuki, this is all for your own good. Those other children would never understand you and they would all hate you if they knew the truth. That's why Hatori had to erase their memories of you. You have to stay here for a few days, but then you'll be fine. You're going to go to be tutored since your bronchitis has come again... that way you'll be right here if Hatori's needed. please understand that I don't want you hurt." 'That's exactly what I want, but...' "You are my favorite, Yuki... never forget that... You belong to me. Disobey me again and..." He leaned closer. "You'll regret it." Yuki flinched, his violet eyes clouding with fear. Akito sighed. He loved that sight. He stood straight and walked to the door. "Oh, and Yuki? I love you." With that he shut the door.

When the door closed, Yuki collapsed in on himself, huddling closer to the window that used to be his salvation.

"Hey!" a voice called from outside. He blinked, and thought it was one of the many children running wild on the estate. That thought made him sigh, and he curled closer.

"You in there! I'm talking to you!" He sat up, then went to the window.

"You are talking to me?" he asked, utterly surprised. No one went against the God's wishes. He was in isolation; that meant he was not allowed to speak.

"Yeah. Why are you in there? Can't you come out and play?" The speaker was a small boy with a shock of orange hair and garnet eyes.

"I'm in trouble. Akito-sama put me in here. I'm not supposed to talk to anyone."

"I'm Kyo! i don't like Akito." Yuki's eyes widened at the way this boy spoke the God's name, with no honorific. Did he have a wish to die?

"I'm Yuki. Why don't you like Aktio-sama?"

"He's mean... he wants to lock me up in a little room for the rest of my life. I guess that's what he's done to you, sort of."

"I'm only in here for a few days, then I go back to my house. My father and brother are waiting for me there."

"What about your mother?"

"I don't know. She died when I was born. Akito told me I killed her by being born." After he said it he covered his mouth in horror. He'd mangled the God's name, and told about that! He wasn't supposed to talk about that! "I'm sorry I should never have told you that!"

"Why not? Is it true?"

"Akito-sama said so... I guess it is."

"But do you know he wasn't lying? He could have lied to you, you know..."

"But he wouldn't... oh." He realized what the boy meant. Akito-sama could have lied to him... He looked at the boy- Kyo, he reminded himself.

"So... was he lying?"

"I think he must have been. Babies can't kill people."

"So why are you in there now?"

"It's a secret. I'm not allowed to tell. Why does he want to lock you away?"

"It's asecret... hey what if we have the same secret?" Yuki stopped; he'd never thought of that.

"I don't know. Why don't we say it at the same time?"

"Okay. On three... One... two... Three..."

"I'm cursed!" they said together, giggling softly when they realized what they'd done.

"What animal are you?" Kyo asked.

"The rat..."

"Oh... I'm the cat."

"You don't hate me do you? I'm sorry!" Yuki babbled, until a rock hit the wall by his head.

"Hey! you had nothing to do with the story, okay? I don't hate you... besides, we're only little kids. It's okay. So when will you get out?"

"I don't know. Maybe tomorrow, maybe next week."

"Oh." A woman's voice floated through the air, and Kyo turned immediately. "Oh, I have to go, but I'll come see you tomorrow." Kyo grinned and left, and Yuki sat back down in his corner, looking at the sunlight.

A few hours later, a knock came at the door and the slot opened. A bottle of water was pushed inside. "Shutters closed now," a deep voice said. "Akito-sama's orders."

"Thank you Kureno..." The slit closed and he quietly shut the shutters, leaving him in darkness. He drank his water before curling up in his corner to await the next day.

So, that's the first chapter... It's horrible I know but what can I do? I'm no good at writing little kids, but the thing is this is a needed chapter, so review, okay?
