“Kyou-kun? Why is Yuki-kun so sad? Is he sick? Or, is he worried about something?” Tohru asked as she starred at Yuki’s door. He hadn’t come out for the past two days, except to shower and use the bathroom. He didn’t even eat, and Tohru was extremely worried for the boy. He was her friend.
“How the hell should I know? It’s not like I care anyway.” Kyou said as he turned away, closing and locking the door to his room.
‘Damnit. You’re so stubborn! I do love you ok! I do...But you won’t let me get close to you. Why are you so scared? It’s wrong, I know that, but I just want you to know how I feel.’ Kyou looked out of the window from his room. It was snowing lightly. The white snow blanketing the ground, making everything look beautiful.
Snow.
Everything he saw reminded him of Yuki. The damn rat bothered him even when they weren’t near eachother!
‘Why does this hurt so much?’ Kyou asked himself. He just couldn’t understand why he was feeling this way. He was the cat, Yuki was the rat, they’re supposed to hate eachother, simple as that.
But why was it so difficult?

“No, it’s my final decision Shigure! Nothing will change my mind. Bring him to me tonight.” Akito said, before leaving Shigure alone in front of the main house gates.
Shigure sighed and looked down at the ground.
Akito...You’re worst nightmare is coming true.

Yuki sighed. This was so painful. Why couldn’t it have stayed simple? Why couldn’t he go on hating Kyou like he used to? Why did he have fall in love?
Feelings are something you can’t control, they just come naturally.
It was almost as if, the cat and rat were meant to be.

“No..no! I can’t! Please Shigure, don’t make me!” Yuki was shaking. No, he couldn’t go back to Akito, not after he....
“Yuki-kun, I’m sorry. I tried to reason with him. He didn’t listen. You know how he is. When he want’s something, he has to get it. And we can’t disobey him.” Shigure said, but Yuki was already on the way to his room, he closed the door behind him, and was suddenly pushed into it, the back of his head hit onto it.
“Kyou, leave me-”
“Shut the hell up and listen!” Kyou yelled, hitting his hand against the door, he unclenched it and put both his hands flat down, on either side of Yuki’s head.
Yuki was surprised at the cat’s anger, sure, he has seen Kyou angry before, but never like this. Yuki sighed, he could’ve fought him off, but right now he was to sad, to scared to push him away.
“I know you don’t hate me. I think we’re just both confused. Confused because we’re falling in love. I can barely hold anything back anymore. It’s wrong, I’m aware of that, but,” Kyou whispered, leaning into Yuki. “I love you Yuki.” He whispered into Yuki’s ear, sending chills down the rat’s spine.
Yuki whimpered, and wrapped his arms around Kyou, burying his face in the other boy’s chest.
“I’m sorry Kyou. I’m so sorry!”
“Shh, it’s ok. Stop crying.” He brushed his hand through Yuki’s silverish hair.
“It’s just, everything about this is so wrong Kyou. We’re not supposed to feel anything but hate for eachother.” Yuki said, wiping his tears away. He hated crying in front of people. And here he was, crying in front of his enemy.
Enemy, is that all we’re supposed to be? Is that all people expect from us? They all want us to be enemies? Why can’t they just let us be happy? Why are they always pushing them away from eachother? WHY!?
“Yuki, Kyou.” A voice came from the outside of the door...Shigure’s voice, and it had a serious tone to it. Kyou and Yuki pulled away from eachother and opened the door, allowing the inu to enter, and close the door behind him.
“Yuki, Kyou. You have to stop this.” He said, settling down on Yuki’s desk chair.
“S...Stop what?” Yuki asked, turning away from Shigure, so the older Sohma wouldn’t know anything about him crying.
“It’s wrong, every cat and rat in the past hated eachother, you can’t change that by falling in love with eachother. It’s wrong, on so many levels it’s wrong.” Shigure stated. Somewhere deep in his mind, he was in pain. But he had to, he had to in order to save them.
Save them from what you ask? Let’s just say, a deep secret, that Akito and all the other older Sohma’s have been trying to hide from Yuki and Kyou since they were split a part.
“I understand it’s wrong, but so many things in life are wrong, and these feelings won’t go away...Feelings in themselves don’t go away. “ Kyou stated.
Shigure sighed and shook his head. “Please, don’t make this harder on yourselves. Just forget about eachother, or I’ll have to tell Akito everything.” Shigure frowned before leaving the room. Leaving the boy’s to think about what he said.

Shigure slowly slid his body down against the closed door of his room.
‘I’m sorry, Kyou...Yuki, I hope one day you’ll find it in your hearts to forgive me. But, falling deeper in love, realizing your feelings will only make it worse then it already is. I thought, that hiding it would’ve stopped them. But I guess, they really do love eachother. It’s so sweet, but it’s just so wrong.’

~Flashback~
Up in the attic at the main house, two young boy’s looked frantically for a hiding spot. The attic was huge, and very dusty, causing both boy’s to go into coughing fits.
“Well Gure-san? Where should we hide it?” A young Ayame questioned his friend.
“How about over here?” Shigure said as he pulled up a floor board, he threw the book in and closed the board.
“Great idea! No one will ever find this diary! Yui-san(1) will be glad we hid it well.” Ayame said, rubbing his hands together, in attempt to get the dust off.
Shigure nod his head.
~End Flashback~
‘If they ever find that diary, their lives will be ruined. Akito will make sure of it. Good thing Aya and I hid it well.

Yuki collapsed onto the ground, so many feelings and emotions swimming through his head. Shigure even thought it was wrong. Shigure of all people! If he didn’t accept them, no one would.
When Yuki was little, the first time he reached out to his brother, he pushed him to the side, and the person who was there to comfort him was Shigure. Shigure was like the big brother that was never there for him. And that’s exactly what Yuki saw him as, a brother. But now....
Now he didn’t even accept them.
“Yuki, please, don’t cry. I want to see you happy.” Kyou said as he took the other teen into his arms, sharing his body warmth.
“Kyou, I..” Yuki stopped, not even knowing what to say, not knowing what to do. He couldn’t think anymore. The confusion taking it’s toll on him, he fainted in Kyou’s arms.

Hmmm, that was actually fun to write! And guess what? The diary will be within 3 chapters! Lol, at first, it’s going to be confusing, but when I write out diary entries, you’ll all understand better! Now, review minna-san ^.^
Oh, and when I said second part, I didn’t mean a sequel, I just meant a second part. Yet, there will, most likely be a sequel. Because the end is a killer! Heh. Very sad. Or at least I think so.
