'I hope that'll make his less frightened about sex.' Kyou thought to himself as he sat up, pulling the blanket over Yuki's body. Surprisingly, it was still cold. Although it was the end of March, it was snowing heavily outside.
"Kyou-kun!" Shigure's singsong voice came through the door. Kyou slipped on a pair of boxers and opened the door slightly, so Shigure would only be able to see Kyou.
"What is it?" He asked. Shigure was smiling.
"You're school just called, it's canceled today." He informed him. It had snowed a lot this year, resulting in many days off from school. Which was both good and bad. Maybe more bad then good in Kyou and Yuki's case. Day's off from school meant they had to make them up at the end of the year, so Kyou and Yuki would have more time to spend together, and more time to plan.
"Ok, thanks." Kyou replied as he made his way to close the door, but Shigure pushed it open, and looked at Yuki's sleeping form. He was shivering slightly, from the lack of heat.
"Kyou-kun, I just want to let you know, that I support you both. I'm glad you fell in love. But, just be careful ok?" Shigure said. He couldn't see them in pain. Not after he watched Kai and Kenji slowly die. It was painful for him as well, and he didn't want to see Yuki or Kyou break like they did.
Kyou sighed. He didn't know who to trust anymore.
"Thank you Shigure. But it's so hard to trust people now." Kyou responded, and shut the door.
"Yeah," Kyou said quietly to himself. He brought his gaze over to the sleeping figure of the one boy he loved more then anything else. "It is hard to trust people now. Not without one of us getting hurt at least."
He walked slowly over to the bed and sat down next to Yuki. He rubbed his fingers gently over the sleeping boy's naked back. Although they were barely noticeable now, there were long thin scars on Yuki's back. They were results from Akito's 'punishments.' Ha! Punishments...torture was more correct. Although they didn't hurt physically, mentally, it was still very painful for Yuki. Even so, his skin was so nice and soft.
It was getting cold in the room, and tiny goosebumps were beginning to appear on Yuki's previously warm skin.
His face was facing Kyou, and he had a little smile upon his face, his hair gently fanning over his forehead and eyes. He looked so peaceful, and to any normal person, he was. But not to any of the Sohma's. They all knew the pain he was in.
No, Yuki was peaceful at all. He was like the calm before the storm, and the storm itself. Peaceful one moment, raging the next. Except, for Yuki there was no rage. It was more sadness then anything else.
Yuki was forever tortured by Akito, and the rape would've been the last straw, if not for Kyou. Akito wanted to break Yuki, but it would never happen, not while Kyou was with him, comforting him.
The positive thing about storms, was the beautiful rainbow that always came afterwards. It's beautiful colors stretched out through the now peaceful sky.
Yes, Yuki would get his 'rainbow' soon. Kyou would make sure of that.

Shigure sighed as he slipped quietly into his room after telling Tohru that school had been canceled. She seemed a bit worried about it for some reason. It was most likely because school was slowly but surely reaching the end, and Tohru wanted to squeeze in as much studying as possible before final exams. But they all knew she would do fine, she would graduate from high school just as she had promised her mother.
That being resolved, Shigure had other problems. He wanted Yuki and Kyou to trust him, he wanted them to know that they would be able to go to him if they ever needed anything. He knew they were in love, and he truly believed it too. He wanted them to be happy. He didn't want them hurt at all, but he knew that was impossible. He could only hope that they wouldn't end up like Kai and Kenji.
Shigure really did support them, the only problem was getting them to believe him.
How was he going to do that?
How would he be able to convince them?

Kyou glanced at the clock. It's bright red glow read 7:30 AM. He usually got up at 6. And Yuki usually got up at 7-7:15. It was still early now, and he figured it would be nice to just go back to sleep. To hold Yuki in his arms once again, to just be near him.
Kyou pulled the covers off Yuki, and climbed on top of him, so that Kyou was laying on his stomach on top of Yuki, who was laying on his back. That done, he pulled the covers back over them once again.
"I can get used to this." Kyou said as he shut his eyes, sleep consuming him soon afterward.
3 HOURS LATER
"KYOU!" Yuki yelled and pulled himself up quickly, causing Kyou to slip off the edge of the bed, and go crashing onto the floor. No doubt he got a few rug burns from that.
"What? What's wrong?" Kyou asked frantically. Yuki seemed worried about something. He was running around the room, gathering clothes and books(Remember, he's still naked).
"We're late for school." Yuki answered quickly, searching crazily for his uniform. "Why didn't Honda-san or Shigure wake up? Wait!? What if she didn't wake up? I don't want her being late either." Yuki was unable to go any further. Kyou had wrapped his arms tightly around Yuki's waist, and he pulled the rat against his body. He place his chin upon Yuki's shoulder and whispered into his ear, "Yuki, there's two and a half feet of snow outside, school is canceled. Let's get dressed and shovel, before that kuso inu has a fit."
Yuki blinked and pulled away from Kyou. Ok. No school. That's good.
It was then he realized that he was still naked, causing him to blush furiously. He quickly wrapped a blanket around his waist and searched for some warm clothes to wear outside, Kyou, confused at first by Yuki's shyness, followed suit, and the two went downstairs to eat breakfast.
