Amber woke and rubbed the bump on her head gently. It was night and the stars and moon lit up the room she was in. There was a bed, a bathroom, a closet, and another door that she assumed led into a living room or kitchen. She felt over herself quickly for any of her weapons. All of them were gone. 'Maybe it wasn't a good idea to tell him I had weapons. Oh well.' Swinging her legs over the bed she tip toed out the door and into the hall. The 'apartment' was empty. A door that seemed to lead out side caught her eye. She tried to pull it open. Locked. The door was locked. The windows were bared. And Amber was in a really bad mood. So what's a girl to do. Slowly she reached over and grabbed a chair.

"THAT LITTLE JERK!!!" She said as she threw the chair across the room. "HOW DARE HE! I'LL KILL HIM! I'LL MAKE THAT PATHETICE EXCUSE FOR A MAN SUFFER!!"

After a few more chairs, the table, and tipping over the fridge the door slid open. Hatori walked in calmly and locked the door behind him. Kureno stepped out from behind him, a stone cold look on his face.

"Miss Panther if you do not calm down we will make you." Hatori spoke quietly.

"I'D LIKE TO SEE YOU TRY!!"

Kureno walked off to the side of the room. Hatori pulled a siringe out of his pocket and pulled the cap off the top. Amber was to busy watching Hatori that she didn't notice Kureno come up behind her. He laced one arm in hers then up to the base of her neck. The other one he used to lock her other arm to her side. Hatori took a few steps toward her. Amber thrashed violently in Kureno's grasp to try to get free. The needle puntured her arm. She fought for a few more minutes then her body fell limp. Kureno carried her back to her room and put her on the bed. She stared up at the ceiling. Her muscles were so relaxed that she couldn't even move her fingers, let alone her body so she could move. I swear if I ever see either of them again. Hatori entered the room.

"I personally do not approve of using sedatives, so I recommend that you stay calm."

Amber motor skills weren't exactly working. If looks could kill Hatori wouldn't even make it to the afterlife. He sighed and walked out of the room. Her eyes slid shut after deciding that there was nothing she could do, and she fell into the bliss of sleep once again. About a hour passed. The sedatives had worn off in her sleep. She was still in a fairly foul mood though. A sudden presence caught her attention. Akito loomed in the doorway watching her like a predator. Sadistic bastard. Amber went to lunge at him but found her right leg and arm chained to the bed.

"They say you have to keep a wild animal chained and caged until it is broken and obedient."

"Is that how you dealt with all of your pets?" She spat.

"No they were bred into it. Though some still defy me at times."

"Sorry to say but I ain't gonna be your little lap dog!"

"You will be broken in time panther. And then you will do as a I command."

She gave an animal like growl before he left. Does he think he can keep me here like a dog. That asshole! He will pay! She shouted it in her mind over and over. She looked up at the bond on her wrist. A third rate lock. What does he take me for. A beginner. Won't he be surprised when he sees me skinning him. She ran her hand through her hair. At least they didn't see the harm in leaving her hair clips in. Poking and prodding at the lock for a few seconds paid off as it snapped open. She undid the one on her leg and rolled off the bed. Her legs felt like jelly. Probably effects from the sedatives. A few stretches cured that. Once again she tip-toed out of the room and down the hall. She heard voices and stopped.

"Hatori, I want her locked in that room. Keep the chains on her as well, we don't need anymore damages to the house. Understand me." Akito said seriously.

"Yes Akito."

Amber could see Akito lounging on the couch. Hatori was on the floor bowing at him. Akito got off the couch slowly. She watched him leave the room. Hatori stood after he left and proceeded towards the room Amber was supposed to be in. She jumped him and flung him to the floor. She sat on his chest keeping his arms pinned with her feet. Going through all of his pockets she found keys and two syringes.

"I hope these are sedatives otherwise your in trouble." She said giving him a twisted smile.

She slowly pulled the cap off the needle.

"Do you think you'll get out of here?"

"No. I'm still gonna try though. Life is more fun that way."

Amber stuck the needle into his arm slowly. She sat on him for a few minutes longer to make sure they took effect. Quickly she got up and put her ear to the door. There were some footsteps but they faded away. She slipped the key into the lock and slid open the door. Amber ducked under the porch and started crawling along it, looking at the wall. The only way out within the time before someone found out she was gone was over the wall. As luck would have it there was a tree planted right next to the wall and was conveniently high enough to make it over. Amber darted across the garden and behind the tree. To bad when karma comes around it hits hard. She was half way up the tree when a firm had grabbed her leg and pulled her to the ground. Kureno folded her hands behind her back and tied them tightly. He pulled her to her feet. Akito was sitting on the porch watching watching her with a sadistic smirk. Kureno drug her over to the porch.

"Leaving us so soon Amber? Don't you like it here?"

"Fuck off!" She hissed.

He waved his finger at her.

"Now now, that language simply will not do. Take her back to her room."

Kureno nodded and drug her back to her room. Hatori was already gone. Kureno confinscated the key off of her then closed the door. She sighed and rummaged through the kitchen draws. She found exactly what she was looking for. A knife. Amber marched to the bathroom and locked the door. She ran the steel deeply over her wrist. She winced a little. If he thinks I going to play his game he's wrong. I'll die before I break. She sat on the floor and leaned against the tub. Blood started pooling around her. Her vision started to blur over. She smiled a little. Maybe I can die. Not in the way I planned but at least I'm passing on. Someone knocked on the door.

"Miss Panther I request that you come out."

"Sorry but no." She said weakly.

A few seconds passed, but in Ambers mind it was an eternity. Then the darkness took her.

Amber struggled to open her eyes. It was nothing like the movies made it where their eyes fluttered open and they're surrounded by loved ones. In fact it was quite the opposite. She woke and found herself to weak to move. No one was there either. She noticed the white bandages that ran up her arm with red splotches dotting the surface. So I was saved. Her eyes fell to the to the cuffs on her arms just above her elbows. Hatori entered the room with Akito by his side. Akito aproached slowly. He sat on the edge of the bed as Hatori went to the other side and started to change her bandages.

"Amber are you alright?" He asked feigning concern.

He put his hand on her arm.

"Don't touch me." She managed to whisper.

He pulled his hand away as Hatori came round to change the other bandage. To weak to keep her eyes open she let herself sleep.
