He had rust colored hair and the most beautiful green eyes. She stared up at him lovingly. Amber moved closer to him and leaned on his shoulder. His arm rapped around her waist and he kissed the top of her head. The moonlight bounced off the lake.
"Nira why don't you quit?"
"It's not like a normal thing where you can quit and walk away. The only way out is in a box."
"Then lets run."
He smiled and held her closer.
"Where would we go?"
"Some where we can be happy."
He sighed and let her go. He looked up to the sky, gazing at the stars. Amber ran a hand down the side of his face then to the mark on his neck. The mark they both shared. He looked back down to her, his eyes filled with sadness. He was searching her eyes. Looking for a feeling. He found it. Hope. Hope that he would run with her, like he did so many years ago. But no, that would never happen again.
"Where we can be happy, huh?" He whispered.
She looked out to the lake.
"C'mon."
Amber pulled on his hand and drug him to the dock. She stopped on the edge. She smiled sadisticaly at him then pushed him in. Nira fell backwards and plummeted down into the water. He bobbed back up to the surface, scowling. Amber was laughing so hard she failed to notice Nira reaching up and taking hold of her hand. Her eyes flew open as he gave a hard tug. She fell in with a huge splash. Amber didn't surface. Nira looked around in a panick thinking she hit her head and was floating on the bottom. She suddenly flew up behind him. Placing her hands firmly on his head, she pushed him under. He came back up and both started laughing. Nira stopped laughing remembering his situation. The one that would end it all. He couldn't tell her. But would it be worse to let her wonder what happened to him. He thought hard. She could see it in his eyes.
"I have to go. I won't be coming back. Forget about me. Find a new person."
"I can't!"
"goodbye beloved."
Nira swam to the edge of the lake and walked into the shadows. She also swam to the edge and decided to follow him. Keeping her distance she tailed him to a warehouse on the edge of town. Tears were rolling down her cheeks. He opened the door and went inside. Amber climbed up the ladder that was in the alley. She peered down through the sky-light. Nira was standing in a soilder's stance. Two men were standing behind him on either side. Another man came out of the shadowy part of the warehouse. He was in silver and red robes. By looks he appeared to be someone of great status. Amber could tell that they were talking but couldn't make out the words. Suddenly the man in the robes pulled out a hand gun. Aiming it at Nira, he fired. Nira didn't even try to run. He just stood like a statue, prepared to take it. Little did Amber realize but the whole time she was watching this, the glass below her was cracking. Just as Nira's corpse hit the floor the glass broke and she fell to the ground. She landed hard. They all looked surprised. The two ran over and pointed their guns at her.
"Who are you?" The man in the robes asked.
"Nira! Nira no!" She screamed.
"So you knew him. Nira never told us he had a wench. We need a new person, consider yourself an honorary member." He said menicaly.
He grabbed the edge of her shirt and pulled her to her feet.
"Now, you need a name. Akira will suit you well."
He tossed her to the other two and disappeared. She pulled away from them and went to Nira's body. Tears started streaming down her face and she cried into his shirt.
"Let's go." One of them said.
"You will have to shoot me before I'll go with you!"
One of them walked over. He pulled the rifle from off of his back. He swung and hit her in the back of the head.

If no one could tell I changed some of the things in this story. I just came to a dead end with her being cursed.
