Chapter 19: Coupled Life
He got back... eventually. It was just... much, much later. Kyo smiled when he, finally, did make it back, though. He stuck his tongue out and told his boyfriend off teasingly.
"I think we need to have a map tattooed under your eyelids."
"Ouch." He grimaced at the idea, dropping his bags by the door, and catching Kyo up in a hug.
"Mmm, you're right." The cat agreed, "Maybe we could have it done on your arms?"
"That'd be interesting..." He mused. "Go into the tattoo parlor and say, 'Yes, sir, I'd like a map of Tokyo tattooed onto my flesh.'"
"It might be worth it." Kyo pointed out. "Or, we could attach a map of Tokyo to each of your pants with a chain." he thought about it little longer. "Or, permanently staple it to the inside of your coat."
"Or, we could not and I'll learn my way around?"
"Would you really?" The kitty smiled at him, disbelieving.
"Can try." He blushed a little. He really should tell Kyo about getting permission to move out. "I… I talked to Akito while I was there and I got permission to move out of the compound."
"You must not have told him it was with me." The cat sighed, letting his head rest on the other's shoulder.
"It didn't come up."
"Right, right." Kyo murmured. "Oh well, that's better. He would have said no if you'd mentioned me."
"Or he would have come hurt you." Haru pointed out, pressing a kiss to the top of Kyo's head. "I really didn't want him to do either."
"Mmm... Why, thank you for that then." The red head replied softly.
"Not a problem." He waved it off. He still didn't mention having to go back and see Akito. He'd think up some excuse whenever the time came. After all, what was the worst thing Akito could do? Rape him again? There were worst things that could happen, more obvious things.
Kyo threaded his fingers carefully into Haru's hair and kissed gently at the underside of his jaw. "You can't be getting in trouble with Akito either. Just remember that." He conditioned.
"I won't be." He agreed, pondering telling Kyo, but changing his mind again. No, there was no reason to worry him; he'd been right before in his decision to not say anything.
"Good boy." The kitty crooned.
It was a few days later, and Haru really didn't have anything to do. Kyo was at work, but was supposed to be coming home soon, so the ox was preoccupying himself with the wonders of television. He really would need to get his computer over there, at some point. He'd do that whenever he went to the Main House the next time. Well, as usual Kyo came home and crawled straight into the shower, then came out and crawled into Haru's lap. He faced his boyfriend as he straddled his thighs.
"Did you even move since I left?" He wondered.
"Yeah." He assured him with a sweat drop. "Food's in the kitchen."
The cat's hands slipped under the ox's shirt. "You'll get fat like that." He taunted as he fingers ran over the ridiculously pale skin.
"Will not." Haru stuck his tongue out at his boyfriend. "Underweight anyway."
"I don't think sitting around the apartment all day is going to help that." The red head raised an eyebrow and was tempted to grab the others tongue.
"And how might you suggest I fix this small problem?"
"Job." Kyo suggested slowly, leaning forward and nuzzling the ox's neck for added persuasion.
"You're trying to get rid of me?" He raised an eyebrow, with an obviously teasing pout.
"Do you know... what happened the last time I tried to get rid of you?" His older cousin murmured, playing along.
"I think there's a pretty safe assumption in there...somewhere." He murmured softly, placing a kiss on Kyo's nose. "Any suggestions?"
"Plenty of jobs for a pretty cow like you.” The feline told him with a sly smile.
"I'm an ox, not a COW." Haru corrected pointedly. Yeah, he was still sensitive about that. “And, such as?”
"Hmmm, How about a fast food restaurant?" The cat teased him happily. "You don't have to worry, none of it's actually made of beef."
"Pfft, that's comforting." He rolled his eyes sarcastically.
"Hmmm, Game store, grocery store, video rental, clothing store, skating rink, book store?" Kyo listed other suggestions off on his fingers carefully.
"I'll LOOK," He agreed, and, indeed, he did go to several interviews the next day. A little under a week, he heard back from some of them and ended up with a video game store, the night of his first day, however:
"My boss is such an asshole." He complained into Kyo's lap unhappily.
"Hmmm?" Kyo pet his white crest of hair gently. "It's only been one day, Haru."
"Kyo," He peeked up at him. "I'm pretty sure that every other employee there is involved with the Turkish Mafia."
The cat snorted helplessly. "I-I think it should be okay?" he tried again, attempting to quell his snickers.
The next day, Haru came home in a less than pleasant mood.
"Koneko-chan!" He called; he knew Kyo would be home. "I need to wash the people off me, and then we're screwing." He informed the other, pausing only to take off his shoes before heading straight for the shower. The cat stared smugly after him. Haru getting a job was having more and more benefits!
Haru returned a good half an hour later in nothing but a towel, and proceeded to pin Kyo down to the couch, and get a good, long kiss in as he worked on the red head's clothes. They NEEDED to come off SOON.
~_*_~_*_~
“Koneko-chan,” Black murmured darkly. “Have you ever read any of the mutt's books?” He'd gotten the button of the cat's pants open and was undoing the zipper as Kyo raised his hips up compliantly.
“Nnn, One. He made me though. Sat there and, Ah!” He gasped as the ox fondled him roughly. “Watched me read it.” He finally finished breathily.
“What'd you think?” Haru asked him, all but ripping off his shirt, and then letting the towel go from his waist so they were pressed skin to skin.
“Crap…” Kyo moaned out. The younger man couldn't sure if that was an expletive, or the answer to his question.
“There was one I read.” Black told him, holding both the feline's hands above his head with one of his bigger ones. “Had some very interesting things in it. I don't have what I need today...” He began fingering the lithe young man beneath him urgently with his other hand. “But tomorrow, I'll need a milk jug, some string, and a postcard.”
—"Really Haa-kun, I'm sure you'll remember these things to try on some poor helpless lover of yours."
Kyo wasn't listening to him anymore though. He was too busy writhing on his boyfriend's fingers.
“Ah, ah. Nnn…”
“Patients kitty, it's coming, don't wanna hurt you more than I'm already going to.” Black promised before he began to suckle the beautiful red head's neck, dead set on leaving a hickey. He removed his fingers and crawled in between the other's legs quickly. He'd been rock-hard since he got off work and now he was going to fuck this cat into next week. Haru positioned himself at Kyo's entrance, and to distract him from some of the coming pain; he released his wrists and began pumping Kyo's erection. Kyo didn't notice his hands were free though and kept them above his head. That small pleasure was all kitty was going to get, because then the ox thrust in fluidly.
“Oh, oh.” Kyo thrashed his head to one side, exposing his neck, which Black was happy to latch onto and finish his hickey. He gasped as the ox began to fuck him down into the couch and a trail of uncontrolled saliva made it's way from the corner of his mouth. He couldn't find the time to swallow, what with all his moaning.
“God, Koneko-chan, you moan like a call girl.” Haru grunted, finally releasing the red head's member to get a firmer hold on his hips. He wasn't complaining about the noise, it turned him on, but he had to wonder if the cat knew he was so vocal.
It didn't seem like his older cousin had heard him or himself, though. It felt too good to be listening to Haru's pillow talk right now! Yeah, it hurt, but the ox had a lovely knack for hitting his prostate and as the speed picked up it got better and better. So he was just content to let himself be completely taken advantage of and rammed down into the cushions of the couch. The feline suddenly made use of his free arms, wrapping them around his boyfriend and pulling him even closer. Crying out as his arousal was rubbed between them with each thrust of Haru's hips. Some wordless sounds and a few mutterings of the ox's name flew from the older man's lips as his climax drew ever closer.
“Come on,” Black groaned huskily as his eyes drooped closed from exertion and his thrusts got jerkier. “Louder.”
Kyo whimpered noisily, he wasn't as loud with White Haru. But that's because White wasn't as rough as Black was. It was just as fulfilling, but White didn't seem to rip as many mind-numbed noises from him. The cat suddenly breathed in quickly and then let out a prolonged purr of pleasure as his orgasm began to stampede all through his body, and all over his and Haru's stomachs. The younger man only managed a few more thrusts and a completed rumble in his throat before he was claimed by the feeling also. Once again he was making Kyo very much his with his explosion of cum, deep inside the red head. They lay stuck together panting for a moment and then Black drew out, but he flopped comfortably on top of his little housewife, rather than get up. “Enjoy yourself, baby?” The nastier half of the ox teased mercilessly.
“Work couldn't have possibly been that bad.” The cat replied lazily.
“Oh, but it was.” The white haired man pet the hickey on his neck with a smirk.
Kyo purred with delight at being touched. “Feel better now then?” Haru's leer broadened and he took the pretty kitty's mouth in a very heated kiss.
“Yes. And your sweet little boyfriend wants to come out and see you now.” He relayed the message, groping Kyo's thigh shamelessly as he spoke. “But before I go… I'll be back tomorrow and you better be feeling kinky.”
“Eh?” The feline wondered, but it was too late. Haru was already passed out on him, switching personalities.
~_*_~_*_~
It was after many, many days of this, Kyo put forth his piteous plea.
"Haru?" He purred quietly when the ox was not quite so annoyed from his adventures at work.
"Hmm?" The once again White ox murmured, snuggling up close to his naked lover.
"Well, you see..." The cat ran a finger slowly down the other's arm. "If... you intend to keep this up... I think I'm... going to have to demand a bed." No more futons, and the couch wasn't any comfier.
"Mmm... Beds are good." he agreed easily enough. He'd never had one either.
"Bless you." His smaller boyfriend crooned, kissing him deeply. It was Kyo's poor back that suffered from their usual places anyways.
"No problem." He waved it off. "I've never had a real bed." He admitted softly. "I wonder if they're really all people say they are." So they next time they were both off work, they went questing for a comfy bed. It was a bitch getting the mattress up there. But hey, once they had it a few weeks later, Kyo was quite ecstatic. As soon as it had covers on it Haru found himself pounced and kissed senseless... Then the bed... Well, the bed found itself broken in. Enough said.
Haru had gotten a message from Akito requesting that he go to the main house to see the head that Saturday, but when Saturday rolled around:
"You have a fever." Haru stated flatly, his hand resting on Kyo's forehead. "You're not going to work today--you're going to stay in bed."
The cat batted his hand away irritably and curled up until he was just a ball completely covered by blankets. A wayward cat got up on its hind legs and pawed vehemently at the ox's legs, two more jumped on the bed and mewled at Kyo.
'Are you sick? Sick? What's wrong? Tell us? Huh? Huh? Huh?' They asked in an irritating, hyperactive way.
The red head groaned. "Shut up...."
"I'll call Tori-nii, if I have to." Haru threatened, though it was probably a bit unnecessary, as it didn't seem Kyo wanted to get up, even if he'd let him.
"What time is it?" Kyo murmured pathetically.
"Nine thirty." He read off the clock obediently.
"Feh... I'll sleep for a while... I'll feel better... then I'll go to work." The cat told him with a voice muffled from having his heated face pressed into the pillow.
No, no he wouldn't. Haru would make sure of that, even if he had to sit on him while he called Hatori. That didn't stop Kyo from trying of course. He did sleep, but when the time drew closer, the cat's, which refused to leave, woke up their master. Who cursed and began to crawl slowly under the blankets heading for the end of the bed. Only to be caught by his boyfriend.
"Damn it!"
"Sit." Haru ordered, grabbing the phone as he forced him back into the bed. "I'm calling Tori-nii to find out what's wrong." He added, dialing Hatori's number as he spoke. When Hatori picked up his phone he could already hear Kyo whining in the background. 'Haru, it was just a fever. I'm fine now, let me go to work.'
"Ah, Hello, Hatsuharu." The dragon sighed; he could already guess what they needed.
"Kyo's--" He made an odd grunting noise as he fought the cat back into the bed again. "Sick." He finished finally, indeed now half laying on him to keep his lover on the mattress. 'I am not!' The cat protested loudly.
"I see." Ha'ri murmured going to find his address book to make sure he had the two's address. Once that was confirmed he assured the ox that he would be right over, and then went to get the rest of his things. Kyo protested the entire time too, and he was still protesting when Hatori got there.
"Kyo, you're sick!" Haru was insisting from where he was straddling Kyo to keep him in bed. When Hatori arrived. "You're burning up, you threw up twice, and there are cats everywhere," He pushed one off his shoulder for good measure. "You're sick!" The cats mewled out Hatori's arrival, some of them jumped up onto the bed to nuzzle Kyo, some pawed at Haru for him to get off their master, and others went to paw at Hatori to thank him for coming. None of the three humans particularly appreciate any of this, but hey, it was meant well enough.
"Any other symptoms I need to know about?" The dragon murmured, as he looked Kyo over. If the cats weren't enough evidence, Kyo certainly looked sick. He was pale and he was green at the gills. Haru shook his head, though he didn't move off of Kyo, for fear that the cat might make another break for it. After all, this had already occurred a good five times that day. After a short examination Hatori murmured out that it was just the flu. He dug around in his magic bag and set out the medicine next to the bed. "I think you two are capable of reading the instructions." He raised an eyebrow at Haru. "And you... it's probably inevitable that you'll get it as well... So, just rest and take the medicine if that happens." And with that Tori hurried off, since he would probably already be late for his checkup with Akito. Haru simply gave the medicine to Kyo, though he practically had to force it down his kitty love, and proceeded to spend the rest of the day, laying on top of Kyo, when he wasn't getting something for him. Over the next few days, the cat's, which only left to eat, babbled incessantly. At least it was easy to tell when Kyo was better... since they all just, kind of, disappeared. But that was the morning... that a herd of cows surrounded the building.
"Haru..." Kyo sobbed. "I hope we don't get evicted over this."
Earlier: After Hatori First Leaves
"Hatori!" Akito called sharply to the dragon when he arrived for that check-up. "Where were you? I was expecting you over an hour ago."
"I'm very sorry, Akito-san." The doctor apologized, bowing down low and everything. "I got a call from someone else in the family and I had not expected it to take as long as it did." That had been his first time trying to find Kyo and Haru's apartment, after all.
"Someone?" He repeated with a pointed look. "Who?"
"Hatsuharu."
"Really?" He sneered, displeased with the ox as well. "Perhaps YOU can tell me why he chose not to accept my invitation to come over this afternoon?"
"Ah..." Is what he murmured. 'Shit. I'll have to apologize to Hatsuharu later.' is what he thought. "He didn't do it to be rude to you. I assure you, Akito-san. Kyo is the sick one, and Hatsuharu was there taking care of him."
"Is that so?" Akito tilted his head back a bit, pondering this. "I suppose I'll simply request he come on another day, then." The dragon shook his head slowly and began his check up of Akito. He would need to call the ox and tell him about that. Yeah… he was going to be in deep shit.
And so, that was how Hatsuharu found himself ill and cursing into the phone a few days later. Damnit, he hadn't wanted Akito to know that he had even seen Kyo since he'd come back! He certainly hadn't said anything.
"I'm sorry, Hatsuharu." The poor dragon sighed. "I didn't know you were supposed to meet him that Saturday, and then I was too backed into a corner to lie."
Kyo stared at his cursing lover oddly while this conversation went on.
"But, Tori-nii, now I'm going to have to go and deal with the interrogation on TOP of him being all pissed and whatever the hell else he already had planned."
"He didn't seem to angry. But depending on what you tell him that might change." The doctor tried to assure him, since he knew Akito fairly well.
"Tori-nii, he's already pissy most of the time." Haru pointed out, careful to not mention Akito's name specifically where Kyo could hear him. He could already feel the incriminating stare on him, and it was making him feeling rather guilty about lying to him. "Meh, I'll think up something."
Hatori apologized again before allowing Haru to hang up and be stared at further by his boyfriend.
"Uh--hi." Haru waved half heartedly, trying to control his pretty massive irritation as he reached to put the phone back on the cradle.
"Haru... love..." The cat murmured, looking quite suspiciously at the ox. "What did Hatori want?"
"Ah, I was just supposed to go see someone last Saturday." He tried to shrug it off as nothing. "He wanted to tell me that I need to go do that, soon." Well, it wasn't a TOTAL lie! Just mostly a lie.
"You should have gone and let me go to work." Kyo poked him mercilessly. "You might not have gotten sick if you'd been out."
"Kyo, you're a chef." Haru pointed out, raising an eyebrow. "It's illegal for you to work while you're sick."
"I wasn't that sick." That was his story and he was sticking to it.
"Yes, you were." Haru insisted with a shrug. "Look, it's not a big deal. I'll go apologize soon." He grimaced at the idea. "I'll be fine, it's nothing I can't handle." Kyo frowned but he let it drop. Instead he just went over to the kitchen and set about making some soup that he could put in the fridge for his boyfriend while he was at work. And, indeed, once he was well again, Haru took his next day off, left a note for Kyo saying he'd gone to see his 'friend', and set off to go work on damage repair with Akito. He really, REALLY, hoped he wasn't TOO pissed off.
Eheh... Not... too pissed off? Well, you wouldn't be able to tell how pissed off he was, since when Haru first arrived Akito completely ignored him, despite Kureno announcing him. Even when he got up and hovered over the ox, you couldn't really tell. He seemed calm enough.
"Hmm, I'm to understand `The Filth' was sick.... You were taking care of him... Hatsuharu?" He muttered slowly. (Yes he just called Kyo `The Filth')
"Mm--Mmhmm." He nodded, careful to keep his gaze steady as he held it on Akito. He didn't want to let the head know just how scared he was.
"I guess you are still friendly with... that thing..." The little head snorted.
"Yeah." He nodded again.
"Hmm, that really is to bad." Akii sighed.
"How so, Akito-san?" Haru asked him hesitantly. "If you don't mind my asking, of course."
"The cat is such a horrible waste of time..." The sickly little creature murmured. "I rather wish he'd stayed in whatever cardboard box he'd been in, rather than coming back here." He walked over behind Haru and ran his fingers through the two shades of hair. "I appears he's been wasting quite a bit of your time too..."
"I... wouldn't say that." Haru protested, stiffening a little when Akito touched him. He should have known this was coming.
"It's really the oddest thing." Akito murmured, kneeling down a little and running his tongue gently over the outer shell of the ox's ear. "But, when Hatori found out I had been waiting for you... The most interesting look came to his face... It made me think there's something I don't know about."
"Like what?" He had nothing to be ashamed of; he just didn't want Kyo to be hurt...
"Where is… this apartment of yours..." The head murmured, blowing on the wet he'd just left on Haru's ear.
"On this side of town." He shrugged uncomfortably. "It's not too far from here."
"Anywhere near... the cat?" Akito wondered, his arm sliding over Haru's shoulder then onto his chest.
"Ahm, it's not very far."
"I see..." Akii kissed at his neck idly. "And how is the filthy thing...."
"He's fine." He tried to keep his muscles relaxed, in an attempt to hide his nerves.
"I haven't seen him around... I would have expected him and Kazuma to want to see each other. They were rather close." Akito had his suspicions about those two, but none of them were confirmed. He just hoped they were true right now and would hit something on the ox.
"I don't know." He lied, smoothly enough, convincingly enough, he hoped. Akii was disappointed when that was all he got. He wrapped his other arm around the ox's waist and between the two of them slowly lifted up the shirt.
“Were you happy to see the cat, Hatsuharu?" He murmured, his cold fingertips running along the crisscrossing scars on the other's chest.
"I-it was a p-pleasant surprise for him to come back." Haru knew better than to try lying to Akito too much. It was too big a stretch, and he knew he'd get in HUGE trouble if he got caught lying.
"And what about the others?" Akii questioned before making it his personal goal to put a hickey on the ox's neck.
"I don't know." He lied again. "I'm sure they're happy too." He added quickly. Akito just continued the harsh pressure on his neck and wrapped his arms around the younger man's waist.
"Perhaps..." He drew off eventually with a suctioning sound. He admired his handiwork as he spoke. "That's why I've been getting so few visits... it seems, every time you juunishi find something that makes you happy... You think you can just abandon me..."
"We-we're not abandoning you, Akito-san." He tried to assure him. Maybe, if he were careful, there would be no raping. Oh, lord, he was going to have a fun time explaining that one to Kyo.
"Oh no not you..." Akii hugged him and pressed his cheek to Haru's. "You... Hatori and Shigure remain loyal." he doesn't even consider Kureno a person anymore, apparently. "I appreciate it greatly... But the rest of them.... " You could tell he was annoyed as he spoke about the others.
"I-I'm sure they're just busy." He tried to excuse them, hoping that Akito wouldn't decide to go assault anyone in their sleep again.
"Don't defend them." The head snarled
"Ah--yes, sir." He agreed instantly, still trying to stay on Akito's good side.
"Hmmm.... I take that back... I'll allow you to defend the cat..." Akii murmured slowly. "But, on the condition that you bring him with you next time you come."
Haru's eyes widened noticeably. "W-why?" He asked nervously. "You—you're not going to hurt him, are you?"
"He's been home nearly a year... and I have yet to greet him..." Akito laughed and nibbled shamelessly on Haru's earlobe. "Come now... You would rather be here with him... than leave him all alone with me, wouldn't you?"
"Akito-san," He pleaded unhappily. "I--do whatever you want with me, but PLEASE leave him alone?"
"I think... you forget who your master is... who you belong to..." Akito murmured in a sugary sweet tone.
"N-no, I--I remember." He promised. "But, please, A-Akito-san, I'm BEGGING... leave him alone...? Please?"
"Hmmm, I just want to see him, Hatsuharu." The head resumed his licking at the ox's neck. "Will you bring him, if I promise not to hurt him?" He purred lightly. "I'd rather... not get angry and command you to do it..."
"You promise?" He wanted to make sure.
"Yes," He tightened his hold around Haru's waist a little bit.
"A-alright then..." He agreed slowly, with a small nod. It was either take him there, and be able to protect him at least a little, or have Akito summon Kyo alone, and Haru wouldn't be able to help at all.
Akito turned Haru's head and kissed him deeply before pulling away. "Thank you for the lovely visit, Hatsuharu... I look forward to seeing you and `The Filth' next time." He summoned Kureno back in when he finished speaking and the two of them left the room. This was a sign to Haru that he could leave. But not without that nice hickey Akito had given to him. Akii was fairly proud of that too. Haru wasn't really even aware of it, though, as he walked out of the room, he just hoped that his heart slowed down and he stopped shaking by the time he got home.
When he returned Kyo was in his obligatory shower after work. He hadn't known how long Haru would be gone so there was food waiting over on the counter for the ox; he'd already eaten on his own. Yeah, Haru's heart had slowed, but he was still shaking a little, and not very hungry, so, he only ate a bit, then he was afraid he'd throw up, if he weren't careful. He'd finish later… So, he was sitting on the couch, still trying to calm himself when Kyo emerged from the bathroom.
"Oh, you're back." Kyo blinked at him before coming over and plopping down next to his shaken up boyfriend. Haru just looked at him for a moment, before planting a rather thorough kiss on his love's lips.
"I love you." He stated, pulling back. "And I want you to know that I never intend to let anything happen to you."
The cat stared at him, wondering what had brought that on. "Haru?"
"I just need you to know that." He promised, still utterly oblivious of Akito's lovely hicky.
"I know that, Haru." Kyo blinked at him again before raising up a hand to point out said hickey. "But you have a hickey on your neck, so I think I'm going to have to demand you tell me what's going on anyway."
"Eh?" He blinked and jumped up, heading into the bathroom to examine it. "DAMN IT all...!" He cursed, highly irritated with it. His red headed boyfriend frowned and followed him. The ox was going to tell him what was going on, or else.
Haru cursed a few more times, before turning to Kyo with a sweat drop and assuring him quickly. "I swear to God, I didn't cheat on you."
"That doesn't answer the question."
"I didn't!" Haru repeated, and then sighed. "This is complicated you wanna sit down?"
'He hasn't even started talking yet and I'm already confused...' The cat rolled his eyes but dragged the ox back to the couch for this explanation anyways.
"Um..." He started. "You remember how I asked Akito if I could move out a while ago?" Just that made Kyo want to go 'Aww crap' but he just sweat dropped, nodded and continued to listen
"Well, he--he made me promise that I'd go see him sometimes, and, well." He gestured vaguely to his neck. "Maybe it's really not quite as complicated as I thought."
"Feh...." The cat growled. Akito had been sucking on his boyfriend? That was just fucking great.
"Well, it's not like I could say, 'Hey, Akito-san, you wanna stop that? My lover's gonna get jealous.' now, could I?" He was feeling immensely guilty. "And he didn't do anything else this time so, are you okay?" He wanted to know, hugging Kyo quickly.
"Eck." Kyo's noise came out disgusted this time. "He got his spit on you."
"I... I'll go wash?" He offered helplessly.
"Later." The cat corrected pulling HIS lover to him and kissing him. "I'm just glad he didn't hurt you again." The feline admitted quietly when he released the ox again.
"I told you I could handle it." He reminded him gently.
"Right, right." The red head snickered.
"I love you..." He whispered, nuzzling close to him. "Which is one of the reasons that I might as well tell you now. He wants you to go with me next time." he rushed out, really wishing he hadn't just said that. Kyo halted all motions. When was the last time he'd been in there? Was it his seventeenth birthday? He couldn't remember. "I'm sorry..." Haru groaned. "But, it was either agree to bring you with me, or wait for him to order you to go alone. It seemed like the lesser of two evils."
"B-but... b-but why?" The red head mumbled out. Akito had never EVER seen him without doing something hurtful to him. He had a legitimate fear of going to see the man.
"I don't know." He admitted. "But I'm not just going to let you go there alone...!"
"Fuck." The cat cursed, he was feeling fairly annoyed himself now.
"I'm sorry." He repeated unhappily.
"No, no, no." Kyo admonished him with a glare. "It's not your fault."
"Well, I know that, but I'm still sorry."
"Eh…" The older Sohma shrugged. "It's what's going to happen. At least you'll be there." He leaned forward and kissed the ox comfortingly
"Kyo," He sweat dropped a bit. "I just came back from a good hour of Akito touching me." He pointed out with a tiny blush. "I think I might go grab that shower anyway."
"Go, shoo." Kyo ruffled his hair. "I shall reclaim you later." Haru placed one last lingering kiss on Kyo's lips before scampering off to go de-Akito-ize himself.
Well, after thoroughly making sure Haru was all his again, Kyo was happy. And it was just a matter of waiting until Akito decided to summon them. It really wasn't until then that Kyo started to get nervous about it, too.
"Kyo," Haru sighed as they approached the main house. "Do me a huge favor and calm down? One of us has to stay at least a little collected."
"Right..." The feline murmured, letting go of the ox, to which he'd been clinging. "Right...." He repeated worriedly. And of course, that bastard Akito did nothing to ease his nerves at all. He kept Haru and Kyo waiting a good long time before bothering to even appear, and then he stood, leaned against one of the supports on his porch, looking out into his garden. Kyo felt like he could cry by the time he fully acknowledged them.
"Hello... Hatsuharu." he greeted with a smile. Then he turned to Kyo with a frown that turned into a definite leer. "You've changed." Akito murmured, going over to closer inspect the cat. "You look like an orange haired Kazuma." A hand reached around behind Kyo to grasp the long strands of hair, and he let them slide from his fingers slowly. "I will admit, long hair is much more attractive on you." He didn't even need to mention how delicious that look of utter fear in Kyo's pretty eyes was.
It had only been ten minutes, and Haru was already as close to Black as he could get without actually slipping over into his other personality. He really, really wanted to, though.
"I've very glad you came now." Akii murmured, petting the loose bangs that hung over Kyo's face. "It seems you learned some manners while you were gone, too." His praised the cat with a sneer. "What did you do for those four years?"
"C-college.... Akito-Akito-s-san...." The red head told him in an amazingly quiet voice. He wanted Akito to stop touching him. Right now.
"Hmm, and what did you study?" He inquired as his fingers traced a line along Kyo's jaw.
"I--I was at a culinary school." The younger man confessed reluctantly.
"Ah, any kind of food in particular?" It seemed like with each question, Akito's fingers strayed lower. He was reaching behind Kyo to pull out the elastic that held the orange locks. The cat reached up a hand to stop him, and Akii looked like he was only a few inches away from smacking him. The feline put his hand down with a whimper and decided to answer the question.
"No, Akito-san. I studied everything."
Haru only watched a moment longer before intervening. "Akito-san," He interrupted when there was a pause. "You promised to leave him alone." He reminded the head softly.
"No. I promised I wouldn't hurt him." The head corrected in a venomously low tone. "And you'll note I haven't." He turned back to Kyo, a frightening smile on his face. "Are you glad you came back to town?" The hair came tumbling down and Akito's leer became better defined as he admired it.
"Y-yes," the cat murmured, his other hand going up to brush the hair out his face and behind his ear. But Akito caught it suddenly. Kyo was afraid he'd done something else wrong and whimpered slightly.
"What a lovely ring." Was all the head had to say as he pulled the hand towards him to look it over more carefully. Kyo could have kicked himself for wearing it in here. But he only took it off at work, so it hadn't occurred to him. His eyes wanted to stray over to Haru but he kept them on Akito. "Who gave you such a lovely gift?" And the cat was loath to answer. Haru actually TWITCHED. He should have just told Akito no and taken his goddamned punishment like a man, not put Kyo through this. Damned curse damned Akito and his damned sadistic personality. Haru carefully kept his eyes glued to the floor. He didn't want to watch Akito touch HIS Kyo, damn it!
"Hmmm?" Akito insisted from the cat. But Kyo wasn't sure if he COULD lie.
"It's just a birthday gift, Akito-san." He told him in a quavering voice.
"That doesn't answer the question of who." Akito's glance went over to Haru, and Kyo understood that the man already knew, and was waiting to see if he'd lie.
"H-haru," He felt Akito's fingers following the line of his sides, a long lazy line that made the younger cousin shiver.
"How very thoughtful of him." The sadistic little bitch laughed, leaning forward so it blew right into Kyo's ear. The cat tensed up and his eyes widened, looking over Akito's shoulder at nothing. "And what about, Kazuma? What did he give you?"
"N-nothing," Which wasn't entirely true. That had been the year he'd had sex with Kazuma as he present. But that didn't count as a something.
"Too bad," The man smirked, as his icy little fingers ran along the tan skin that was exposed from Kyo's T-shirt. "You know, I don't think I've ever given you a proper present." He whispered this to the red head, while wrapping an arm around his waist and pulling him close. Another whimper came out of the feline. Haru had a rather strong urge to tackle Akito, but he knew that probably wasn't the best course of action, so he held the desire down. He also felt the urge to interrupt again, but knew that Akito hadn't actually DONE anything HARMFUL yet, and he'd only get in trouble, so he literally bit his tongue, though he did turn a mighty hard glare onto the head.
Just in time to catch him licking Kyo! Then taking his lips in a very forceful manner. The cat's shoulders shook with barely contained emotions, whether that emotion was anger or fear, no one knows. But his eyes were wide, and he forced himself not to look at Haru when he felt the presence of Akito's tongue again. He didn't want Akito's spit in his mouth. But, what if he didn't...? While he was contemplating, he felt the, for now, gentle nipping at his lower lip. His chin quivered a moment before he opened and let Akii in. The man greedily took this reluctant offering and entangled his other hand in Kyo's hair. Akito pulled back a good five minutes later with a disgustingly smug look on his face.
"That will just have to do,” he laughed. Kyo clenched his jaw tight shut even though he knew the man would expect some gratitude for the 'gift'.
"T-thank you." he managed to twitch out, though it was pretty damn obvious he didn't mean it. Haru looked particularly outraged at the moment. Akito passed a glance at the ox and his smile widened. He wondered just how far he could push him. The cat hadn't once looked over there yet. So, he wasn't sure if he'd been correct in his assumption of their relationship. He hummed to himself as he decided to find out. The nasty little thing pressed closer to Kyo and began to kiss the underside of his jaw gently. His goal wasn't to leave a mark, like on Haru, but to get the cat to look to the ox for help. He got all the way down the red head's neck, then his shoulders and he'd pushed him backwards onto the floor and was looming over top of him, kissing his lips again before it happened. Kyo looked about ready to cry as he stared at Haru too.
"Akito--" He burst out, adding a forced, `san' before continuing quickly with, "I'm quite sure this does not constitute as 'not hurting him'."
"Are you hurt, Kyo?" Akito hissed out the name carefully, brushing the hair that was fanned out on the floor around the feline's head.
"I—I—I," Kyo shook underneath him and Akii smiled as he got off the creature.
"There, all better?" He asked both of them, his smile turning threatening. Kyo didn't answer; he just sat up carefully and drew his legs back under him. "Hmm, so, I understand the two of you live close to each other?" He changed the subject again smoothly. Watching as the cat nervously rubbed his clothed arm, keeping his eyes guarded and on the floor.
"A-almost neighbors." The red head replied. Almost, except they lived in the same apartment. But Akii doesn't ever need to know that! Akito moved behind the cat and began combing his fingers through the cascades of hair. He was whispering something straight into Kyo's ear, and Kyo just kept nodding slowly in response. Another fearful grin spread on their head's face and he finally released the cat. Getting up and heading out for his porch.
"Well, I think I've kept you two quite long enough. Thank you for the lovely visit." He glanced over his shoulder to blatantly smirk at Haru. "Do come again some time?"
"Y-yes, Akito-san." Haru stammered, though his voice was trembling from anger, not fear this time. Next time, it might be fear, but this time it was anger. He rose to his feet, and helped Kyo to his, as soon as they were out of the room, Haru practically scooped Kyo into a tight hug. "Are you okay?" He asked anxiously, hating the idea of Akito kissing his kitten.
"Nnn," Kyo laid his head on his lover's shoulder and breathed deeply for a moment. "Let's leave now." he managed out quietly. Haru nodded, though he still kept his arms wrapped around Kyo's shoulders.
"I," Haru spoke up only once they'd gotten home. "I'm going to make sure you're mine forever, and that the whole world knows it." He murmured softly.
"Come, now." Kyo interrupted and then dragged him off to their bed, pushing him down and kissing him desperately. When they had to break apart to breath the cat nuzzled him insistently with his mouth. Their little adventure with Akito had really sucked and now he wanted his mouth to taste like Haru again.
"Well, maybe not forever." He admitted softly, curling up close to him. "But how's 'till death do us part' sound?" He added with a small smile.
"Sounds perfect." The red head murmured holding onto his lover's shirt with an unbreakable death grip.
Haru's smile widened a little. "Is that a yes?"
"Mmhmm," Kyo smiled back. "Black did keep telling me I'd make a good housewife, after all."
Haru grinned happily, and captured him in a deep kiss. "I--I don't have a ring for you." He admitted, a little embarrassed. "And I don't really think I can afford one right now, either. But I can get you any wedding ring you want, when the time comes." He promised between shorter kisses, once the longest one broke.
"Mmm," Was all the kitty managed to purr out for his lover.
"So, do you want to elope, or tell everyone and have a big ceremony?" He asked softly, nestling into the crick of Kyo's neck.
"If we tell people and have a ceremony, that gives Akito a chance to stop us." The feline wrapped his arms carefully around his beloved. "Besides, the only person that I care knows is Shishou."
"Alright." He agreed with a nod. "You tell him. I get my paycheck at the end of the week, and we can go get your ring then." He offered, still holding Kyo as close as he could without fear of cutting off his circulatory system.
"I'm so tempted to say 'This is what every girl dreams about'." Kyo snickered helplessly.
"But, you're not a girl," Haru protested. "You're my kitten." He teased, with another kiss.
"Right," The cat agreed. "Now, hopefully that sadistic little bastard won't call us back any time soon." He scowled and his skin crawled at the thought of Akito.
"Mmm, you won't have to go again," He promised. "I can handle him on my own." He repeated yet again. "But, either way, he doesn't usually do it so close together." He tried to assure Kyo.
Kitty growled darkly. "It wouldn't be a problem to go if he didn't insist on molesting everyone who goes in his room."
"That would be helpful." He agreed. "When do you want to tell Shihan?"
"Mmm, Whenever I get up the nerve to suffer through his 'I told you so' look." Kyo sighed.
Haru snickered lightly to that, and asked quietly. "Would you mind if I told someone too?"
"As long as it's not Shigure and or Ayame I don't care." His kitten told him, with a slight nuzzle for emphasis.
"Great," He grinned, and reached over, grabbing the phone excitedly, dialing quickly. "Ah--" He grinned when he heard someone pick up. "Kagura, is Rin there? Great." He was quiet for a minute longer while he waited for the horse to pick up. "Rin! Guess who's getting married."
"Uhm, Maybe, you?" She guessed, rolling here eyes, even if Haru wasn't there to see it.
"Smart girl." He confirmed with a snort.
"You didn't blackmail him or anything. Did you?" Isuzu wondered, even though she was only half joking. Half.
"No," He muttered defensively. "There was no blackmailing involved, though your confidence in my love life really is astounding." He added sarcastically.
"So," Rin lowered her voice so Kagura most definitely wouldn't hear any of this. "What brought on the sudden urge for marriage, exactly?"
"Akito's an--" He wanted so badly to say 'asshole', but you just don't say that about Akito Sohma. "Unpleasant and touchy molester." He finished finally. It didn't sound nearly as impressive, though. "And I want the world to know I love him."
"Hmm, that's cute. I want to see a matching ring on your finger too though!" The horse snorted. "You've got all that other tacky jewelry. It'll be something to see a serious piece on your finger."
"S'not tacky." He grumbled, blushing a bit. "But, yeah, I should be able to afford two." Rin heard Kyo speaking. 'Haru, would you hush. I have money too. I'm getting you a ring.'
And she snickered helplessly. "The kitty speaks, Haru."
"I'm out-numbered." He realized with a sigh, and sweat drop. "So, you'll see that ring you want too." He assured the girl.
"The women always win." Rin commented slyly. "I think, I might have to buy Kyo something pretty to wear as a wedding present." Oh, she was practically cackling after that. "Hmm," She finally got herself under control. "So, how are you two going to go about it?"
"Eloping." He told her simply, explaining himself with: "The plan is to not give Akito a chance to intervene."
"Good idea, since, well, we know he would try." The horse nodded. "Or at least, try to rape your lovely bride on her wedding night at the very least."
"M'not really sure that Kyo's the one he'd try and rape." Haru commented, blinking a bit. He already knew Akito had no problems raping him, or that he'd hesitate to do so again. "But, either way, I'd rather not find out."
"Well, have fun kiddies." Isuzu laughed gently.
"Thanks." He grinned at the phone's cradle. "Later." He added, hanging up. "And, thank you," He added to Kyo, with yet another kiss.
"My pleasure," The feline purred back to him, before sweat dropping a little. "You know, I don't think Shishou is going to be quite as fun to talk to." He could already imagine the smug look on the man's face.
"Bah, you'll be fine." Haru snickered a bit, placing a series of light kisses along Kyo's collar line.
