Author’s Note: Hey there! This is my first furuba ficcy, and I’ve only read books 1-4, so plz don’t mind my lack of knowledge. I mean, I don’t even know what animal Akito is. I’m writing my favorite pairing, and this story was inspired by some others that I read, though I’m not copying anybody. Enjoy, and remember, all comments are welcome. Here With You
Tohru sat swinging her legs on a fence post, her usual bright smile on her face. Her chocolate brown hair was swept back in a high ponytail and tied with the silky sky blue ribbon that Kyo had given her for her birthday. She wore her long, dark blue sun dress with white flowers and her white strapy sandals. The sun was a glistening golden fire ball and big, fluffy white clouds scurried across the cyan sky. A content sigh fell from Tohru’s lips as she tilted her head back and closed her eyes, letting the cool breeze carry her mind into her own world.
A cracking twig rudely awakened her, jerking poor Tohru out of her thoughts and making her heart race. Her chestnut brown eyes looked around frantically trying to find the source of the noise. Jumping off of the fence, Tohru began to sprint towards home.
*SLAM*
“Ouch!” Tohru’s cheeks suddenly became bright red when she saw Kyo sitting across from her, rubbing his head. She hopped up to help him, unfortunately at the same time as he did. Their heads slammed together once again and their butts were reacquainted with the pavement. Tohru giggled and got up slowly, Kyo waiting before he followed suit.
“ You really do have a hard head,” he joked with a sly smirk.
“ Yours isn’t too soft either, koibito,” she said sweetly, catching herself before she hugged the cat. A half smile flashed on Kyo’s face at the sight.
“ At least you’re starting to catch yourself,” he pointed out to his blushing girlfriend. The couple instead kissed gently, their lips clasping together perfectly. They parted after a brief moment and joined hands, heading into the path through the woods, their favorite place for a walk.
The leaves on the trees cast golden sun patches amongst the shadows on the path and the woodland floor. Tohru’s brown eyes grew and glistened in excitement, taking in the wondrous atmosphere. Kyo smiled warmly, enjoying the sight and presence of his happy girlfriend. They’d been dating for about four weeks now, and Kyo was very satisfied when he discovered that Yuki was practically green with envy. The two had both liked Tohru since they first met her.
“ Kyo-kun, we should go to the onsen again soon. You know, just you and me this time. I bet it would be really great,” she looked at him with bright eyes, and Kyo couldn’t refuse.
“ Tohru, I don’t think you’ll need anything but a towel for the onsen,” Kyo gave her a sly smile and wiped a stray piece of hair from her face. A slight blush crept across Tohru’s face in realization, and she carefully put her bathing suit back in the dresser. She quickly wrapped her towel around her and allowed Kyo to lead the way out and into the springs. They had previously requested that the onsen was one far from others and for their own personal use. The couple shed their towels and lowered themselves into the spring, sighing in contentment. Once in the water, Kyo took Tohru by the wrist and guided her onto his lap so he could bathe her. Tohru sighed as Kyo ran the warm cloth over her shoulders and along her arms. A smile curled his lips and he kissed Tohru’s neck and ear, whispering soothing words, along with the occasional word that made that cute blush spread across Tohru’s cheeks. After she was cleaned, Tohru quickly took the cloth and climbed behind Kyo, kissing him along the way.
Her careful hands guided the cloth across Kyo’s shoulders and about his neck. It caressed his lower back and his abdomen along with every bit of his legs that Tohru could reach. A playful growl sounded in Kyo’s throat when the cloth ran over his arousal. Tohru giggled and dropped the cloth when Kyo turned around and put her back on his lap, this time facing him. Their lips clashed in a deep kiss, Tohru burying her hands in Kyo’s orange locks. His tongue ran along her bottom lip, coaxing her mouth open to explore. The two wet muscles met in an erotic dance, a moan coming from both participants. They broke apart after awhile for breath, Tohru moaning again as Kyo trailed wet kisses along her neck and shoulders. He carefully slid in, knowing that the surrounding water and effect of this being their fifth time would be plenty preparation for his love. Instead the water began to give off an eerie light green glow, and a darker shade of swirling green seemed to be approaching them from the other side of the onsen. Tohru began to whimper in fright and Kyo stared, frozen in place. Strange symbols and markings appeared along the swirl in the same color and began to circle the confused couple. The circle soon shrunk in size, now only spinning around Tohru. Her head was thrust back, hers eyes widened. Her rich brown eyes became a glowing emerald green with a diamond shaped pupil, the green rays seeming to shoot up from her eyes and her entire body. The four sharpest teeth in her mouth suddenly became a bit longer and sharper (like Kyo’s). A spirit-like form of two brown cats ears on top of her head and a brown tail from her backside shimmered in and out of view, and suddenly, it was all gone. The night scene had gone back to normal, and so had Tohru. Her eyes had returned to their original color, and no ears or tail were in sight. The only difference was that her pupils were diamond shape and it looked like she had tiny cat fangs.
Kyo gasped in shock and gathered the dazed girl in his arms, cradling her gently. “Tohru, you’re, you’re a cat!” He said hoarsely, stunned and actually half happy. This had happened before, at an onsen. A member of the zodiac made love in an onsen with one who wasn’t possessed by an animal’s spirit, and after they were done the girl was possessed. Kyo soon realized that they were in the same onsen, and that his love was now like him. Kyo also realized that he could how hug Tohru which he did promptly, and actually laughing with joy. Tohru’s face brightened when he didn’t transform, and she returned the embrace.
