~Chapter 3~

 

AN: OH yeah!!! I forgot to put a disclaimer at the beginning so I'm putting it now! I don't own any of the Fruits Basket Characters but SANYU-CHAN IS MINE!!!!!! YOU CAN”T HAVE HER!!!!!!! I FIND HER ELSEWHERE AND I SUE YOU HEAR ME?!?!?!??!?! SUE!!!!!! MUAHAHAHHAHAHHAHHA so anyways she's mine so nobody can take her :P I'm done enjoy! Hehe srry that I haven't updated for so long. ^^ Please forgive me!!!!! T . T Anyways I have like four other chapters written up but it's gonna take me awhile to type them so enjoy chapter three. Chibi-chan

 

He opened the door to see Sanyu shaking violently while desperately scratching away at from her arms hard enough to make them raw and make a couple of cuts. Her eyes were wide and dilated and her body was covered in sweat. Tohru went to aide but was stopped by Hatori and instead went and grabbed her hands and her movements instantly ceased. Then she looked up at Hatori with fearful eyes before crying and grabbed the stuffed animal that lay next to her. Hatori gently embraced her in a hug and the other Sohmas and Tohru stared in surprise when he didn't change. Hatori motioned to the door silently asking them to leave.

 

Hatori released her from his grasp but she continued to cling to him. Some of the blood was now staining his jacket but he didn't care. Quickly he assessed the cause of her outburst of violence on herself. He concluded on a hallucination that scared her a lot and became lost in the hallucination not realizing the pain she was causing herself. Tohru had come in with Hatori's medical bag once again to fix Sanyu. She was about to leave but Hatori's voice stopped her.

 

Hatori: You can stay if you want. It might help Sanyu.

 

Tohru nodded and sat beside Sanyu as Hatori bandaged her arms up. He soon finished and when he looked up he found Sanyu resting against Tohru sleeping. He smiled warmly and with help from Tohru got her back underneath the covers.

 

Hatori: Tohru you stay here incase something else happens I'm going to go ok?

 

Tohru nodded without looking at Hatori and just kept of stroking Sanyu's hair in hopes of letting her have pleasant dreams. Hatori went downstairs with his bag while taking out a cigarette. He went into the living room to see his cousins waiting expectantly for an explanation.

 

Hatori: I have no idea. I found out earlier when I was treating her face. She hugged me and I didn't change.

 

With that said Hatori left the house back to the main compound. Silence took over those in the living room until Yuki spoke up.

 

Yuki: She will have to see Akito once he hears of this won't she?

 

Shigure: Yes.

 

Kyo: Are you crazy?!? She's only like 7! Akito will eat her alive!

 

Shigure: Do you want Akito to find out later? She will be safer if he knows now than later.

 

With an angry growl Kyo stomped up to his room. Shigure and Yuki stared after him curiously. Sadly the two stared at the stairs knowing that no matter what she would have to see Akito now. Especially with the odd fact that they didn't transform when she hugged them. Sighing Shigure retreated to his room and Yuki soon after went up to his.

 

~Morning~

 

Sanyu woke up to the sounds of an argument downstairs. She went to scratch her arms from the itchiness from them healing to see the bandages on her arms. She stared at her arms blankly slowly recalling some of the memories from the night before. She sighed before sleepily sliding off the bed and dragging the wolf bear by the paw went downstairs for food. She came to the doorway of the living room to see Yuki and Kyo arguing with each other. She tiredly made her way to where Shigure was sitting reading the paper and she rested head against him. He immediately stiffened at the contact but after curiously looking at his side and seeing Sanyu holding her bear watching Yuki and Kyo he relaxed and chuckled. He set his paper down on the table and crushed her under his weight from the hug he immediately gave her, instantly waking her up fully.

 

Shigure: You are just too adorable my little cub! How are we this morning Sanyu-chan?

 

Yuki and Kyo suddenly switched from arguing with each other to bashing Shigure.

 

Both: Don't you touch her you pervert!

 

Shigure lay on the ground twitching when Tohru came out from the kitchen with food. Shigure changed his focus from Sanyu to Tohru once she entered the room but slowly backed off once feeling the evil heated glares from Yuki and Kyo. They had a chatty breakfast Sanyu played with Kyo while Yuki and Tohru cleaned the dishes. Then the trio got ready to leave but before Tohru could even open the door Sanyu grabbed her skirt and looked up at her with fearful eyes.

 

Sanyu: Where are you going onee-chan? Kyo-nii, Yuu-nii?

 

Yuki: We have to go to school today.

 

Tohru: I'm sorry! Should I stay home with?

 

Kyo placed his hand on Tohru's head stopping her from continuing her ramble.

 

Kyo: Hey kid. We'll be back. Don't worry. Okay?

 

Sanyu: Promise?

 

Tohru: Pinky.

 

Smiling the two girls pinky promised and the three left for school while Sanyu sadly stared after them. Then when they were gone from view she trudged back inside to Shigure's office.

 

Sanyu: Gure-nii I'm bored. Do you want to play?

 

The door burst open with an elated Shigure.

 

Shigure: I would love to my little pup but you have someone important to see.

 

Sanyu: Gure-nii, who am I seeing?

 

Shigure: His name is Akito. He is the head of the family. Make sure that you are polite when you talk to him ok?

 

Sanyu hesitantly nodded. Shigure saw the flicker of nervousness and fear in her eyes.

 

Shigure: Go get changed. Haa-san should be here soon to pick us up.

 

Sanyu nodded and went to go ready for the meeting. Shigure sighed once she left the room and stared out the window in wonder of what Akito would do to the little girl that the few Sohmas that had seen her had so quickly become attached to. A car honking snapped Shigure out from his thoughts and he stood up and made his way to the front to greet Hatori.

 

~Sohma Estate~

 

At the large estate Sanyu quietly took in her surroundings while clutching onto the end of Shigure's gi. They came upon an ominous looking house. Shigure gently pushed her inside the scary house and closed the door. She quietly padded into the quiet room towards the dark figure sitting by the window and sat down a respectable distance away. Akito turned to Sanyu giving her what many know as a fake and dangerous smile.

 

Akito: So, you're the new addition to Shigure's household. I heard it was our Tohru who begged to let you stay there.

 

Sanyu: Hai, Onee-san is very kind.

 

Sanyu smiled up at Akito causing his smile to disappear into a frown.

 

Akito: Do you know why you are here little girl?

 

Sanyu: Ano… To meet you?

 

She tilted her head to the side and stared up at him with confusion. Akito let out an angry snarl and grabbed Sanyu by the hair and slammed her against the wall causing her to cry out in pain.

 

Akito: I decide what you do and where you stay. That wench does not make any decision in this family! You are here for my consent and mine only! Here, my word is law!

 

Painfully Sanyu opened her eyes and smiled at Akito. He shoved her against the wall harder making her wince but never broke her smile.

 

Akito: Why are you smiling?!?

 

Sanyu gently reached out to Akito and embraced him in a hug which causing him to let go of her hair and is fell from his hand. The heavy weight he had learned to bear from birth was suddenly lifted from his chest. He fell into a confused stupor.

 

Sanyu: Akito-san, your heart is crying with tears of loneliness, fear, and frustration. Everyone in this family seems to be crying and trying desperately. Even you right Akito-san? They are all crying. Every single one of them.

 

Smiling Sanyu released her hold on him and the spell that he was raveled broke and the weights came back. Sanyu stood beaming at Akito and made her way towards the door but Akito's voice stopped her mid-step.

 

Akito: You're lucky I'm in a good mood.

 

Sanyu: Thank you Akito-san! Baibai! I promise to come and visit again!

 

She walked out of the room and Akito just snorted at her and went back to his perch on the window to see Sanyu bouncing down the walkway with a worried looking Hatori and Shigure tailing. Sanyu's hair was messy from when he had grabbed it and bruises were already forming on her arms from him slamming her into the wall. Sanyu saw him and waved before they disappeared around the corner.

 

Akito: She'll visit me? *snort* Who would want to visit me. Stupid brat.
