The Sohma Story, Chapter Two, Yuki Sohma

“Honda-san, I'm so sorry…” Yuki said to himself curled up in a corner of the garden. He started to cry and a shadow engulfed him, “Do you want to release the pain Yuki-kun?” The figure said, “Yes, I do.” He choked, the figure whispered something in his ear, and Yuki was in shock, “No! I won't do that! I won't kill Honda-san!” The figure giggled, “You know you want to.” Then the figure disappeared and Yuki thought it over, `Do I want to kill Honda-san?'

 

In Yuki's dreams

 

Honda-san felt so far away, why isn't she getting closer? Yuki started to run after Tohru but then she turned her back and the whole area lost it's light. He stopped and saw her bleeding and crying, “Why Yuki-kun? What did I do to deserve this?” She said and ran farther away, the light was only surrounding her and ran of in the distance. Yuki started to cry himself and he woke up.

 

Hospital

 

“Tohru-kun! It's great that you're out of the hospital! Are you feeling better?” Momiji asked the newly recovered Tohru Honda; she was in a wheel chair with a neck brace and had a arm sling. She nodded, she couldn't speak because her wind pipe was crushed and could only breath through her nose. Hanajima and Uotani were next to her and Ritsu was pushing her along. Kisa wanted to hug Tohru but then she would be in pain, Hiro said comforting words to Kisa as they walked along. And most of all, Kyo, he was behind them all thinking of killing Yuki, and how to do it. “Hey Kyon!” Uotani yelled at Kyo, “Why don't you come push Tohru? She'd be very happy if you did!” Tohru nodded and Kyo came to push her wheel chair, `I wonder how Yuki-kun is,' Tohru thought and tried not to look depressed.

 

Shigure's House

 

When they got back to Shigure's house it was all torn up and the windows were broken and there were holes in the walls. Everyone was wondering what happened there, but then they saw blood on the walls in Yuki's room, and a corpse in the bathroom, it was Akito's. Everyone gasped and Tohru wanted to throw up. Shigure went over to Akito's corpse and listened for any vital signs, “He's dead, and the blood leads to Tohru-kun's room.” Shigure said and pointed down the hall. Kyo and Haru ran to her room and the window was broken and there was bloodstains on it. “It was Yuki.” Hatori said, “He jumped through the window hoping to die. And killed Akito who got in his way.” Hatori said it so calmly, Tohru looked worried, “I…is…he…alright?” She crooked, “Tohru! Don't talk it'll only make you worse.” Momiji told her, “I'm fine…now, and I can talk again.” She got on her crutches and walked down the stairs and outside to the wall of her room, There was blood dripping all the way to their secret garden, she walked all the way there on her crutches. They wanted to go after her but Hatori blocked the doorway, “Yuki must except the fact or kill Tohru, and he must be alone.” When Tohru got to the secret garden it was all torn up, the strawberries were mixed up with the leeks and miso, so she followed the blood drips to a stream, where Yuki was cleaning up his cuts, “Yuki…kun?” She said, “Do you want me to help you clean your wounds?” She dropped her crutches and tried to walk over to him. “Leave me alone Honda-san. I'll clean them myself.” “But who's going to kiss it and make it better?” She asked and he turned and started to cry. “Honda-san, you can always make me smile.” He hugged her then kissed her on the lips, he transformed and in his rat form, he held on to her hair and kept crying. Then the rest of the family rushed down to them, Tohru's wounds were healing and she could walk again, “How could…?” Uotani said and Hatori spoke up, “It's the same sickness Kana had, Yuki was heart sick. Only he could fix it.” Kyo clenched his fists and Momiji and Haru just sighed. Kisa ran over to her and jumped on her. Ayame transformed and tried to kiss her. It started to rain so everyone transformed, they all were having fun in the mud, except for Hatori, (Poor seahorse, GET HIM SOME WATER!)
