Riza stilled and stared ahead for a moment before turning her head partcially to glance at him over her shoulder. He was staring at her back. Between her shoulder blades. She felt the tips of his fingers move over the embalem on her back. Tracing the small image there.
"What the hell is this?" Roy asked again when she didn't answer. He didn't really HAVE to ask though. He knew exactly what it was. He saw the embalem every time he used alchemy. It matched the alchemy symbol; down to every detail; that was on his special gloves. "Hawkeye...Riza..." He spoke when she still didn't answer.
Riza lifted the towel back up, folding it around her body before she turned to face him. Roy merely spun her back around again, glanced at the tattoo and then turned her to face him again. "Why do you have that marked on your body?"
"Isn't it obvious by now?" She'd protected him for years. She'd stood by him through everything. Even risked her job to help him. She'd promised him and she would stand by it. Always. She would protect him.
"Roy, its late. You should go." She half turned him towards the door. She wasn't willing to explain it. Not yet. This was her secret.
Roy curled his fingers around her wrist. "No. Not until you tell me why you have That on your back. You know what it is. You know that I know what it is."
"Sir." Riza said cooly, glancing at his fingers encircling her wrist. "We're not on duty at the moment. I don't have to listen, now do I?" Meaning she didn't have to go by his rules or obey him. She knew he could fire her for smarting off to him like that...But he wouldn't. They were closer than that.
Roy shook his head. No. She was going to tell him why she had that. It was his alchemy symbol. What if she... He thought back to all the times she'd saved him in the past or been able to get a bullzi JUST perfectly. What if she did alchemy too but he hadn't realized it, or even noticed it? God, how could he NOT know if she used alchemy or not? He would know another alchemy user anywhere. Then again he knew Hawkeye was good at hiding things. Roy smiled then. "You're on duty."
Her eyes narrowed and she threw a small glare his way. Oh, he thought he was good. She was tempted to pull her gun on him, though, she wouldn't actually hurt him. "Sir, I don't ask you about your personal life or anything in between."
"I know. Why can't you tell me?" Riza leaned to the side parcially and slid her hand under the surface of the table and slid a small gun out. She aimed it at Roy. He heard a small click. She wouldn't actually shoot him though. "Now, its time you leave, wouldn't you think so?" If it had been anyone but Roy, that person would have fired her on the spot. She pulled her gun on Roy all the time and even though he was her superior she bossed him around. How funny was that?
He put his hands up in the air. "Alright, Hawkeye. You win." That 'goofy' side of him was out again though something dark lingered in his eyes. "But--" He turned with his hand on the door knob. "You'll tell me." He turned back towards the door and out of the corner of his eye he saw her watching him and then turn back towards the stairs... He launched himself backwards as he turned around.
Riza heard him and turned halfway but not before he caught her. He lifted her off her feet and moved towards the wall and pushed her up against it. "Hawkeye, you will tell me." The muzzle of the gun was rested against the under side of his chin and he knew that small click he'd heard was the saftey being turned on. She wouldn't shoot him. "Roy." She warned softly and pushed him back roughly. He moved backwards but took her with him as he crashed up against the small wooden stand behind him. One of the pictures on the wall fell.
Roy curled his fingers around her wrist and pulled her hand down. Lowering the gun. "No, Riza. Its not obvious. Tell me." Roy leaned down to her so that his face was close to hers. "Its alchemy. Isn't it Riza? You've been using it." And she hadn't told him.
"So now you know. Yes, it is Alchemy. I'm good with guns sir but Alchemy makes it...More. I said I'd protect you." Her tone was cold as always but her eyes were soft...Still cold too though. She protected him and she wanted to make it count.
Roy stared down at her and then leaned down and kissed her. He couldn't help it. He was up so close to her and the hallway was small. And her lips had been so close. Alchemy. He should have known. But why?
Riza stilled when she felt his lips against hers. He was kissing her. No. This wasn't right. It was against protocal. Damn protocall. She lifted her hands and slid her fingers into his hair and kissed him back, tilting her head slightly. Her lips opened when she felt the light pressure of his tongue against them.
This had been coming for years. They both knew it.
------------------------------------------------------------------------ --------
"You don't think we should stay?" Fuery glanced at Havoc. They had left but Roy had went back. They didn't ask him why and they didn't have to ask him why. They'd all seen the tattoo on her back and the look in Roys eyes when he had seen it too. So when he had went back they hadn't said anything, though Roy had "I'll catch up."
------------------------------------------------------------------------ --------
Roy pressed closer against Riza, forcing her lips open with his tongue and running it over hers. "You--" He pulled back slightly and slid his tongue across her bottom lip before sucking it gently. "--use Alchemy. And you've never told me."
"Shut up." Riza whispered and pulled his lips back to hers. Roy obliged and kissed her again. Harder than the first time. He slid his hands up her arms and pulled them from his hair so he could twin her fingers with his. He pulled them down and then lifted them again, letting her know he wanted them around his shoulders. When she complied he slid his fingers around the back of her thighs and lifted her . Her feet left the ground and he kissed her harder. She made a small sound in the back of her throat.
Roy moved slowly, wondering that with each move he made if she would pull out a gun and shoot him if he went a little too far... Hell, she was responding. They heard a small noise and then a "BARK!". A fluff ball of furr ran at them and then past them. Between there legs roughly. Roy lost his footing when the dog went running between his legs. He fell forward but kept a told hold on Riza and they fell back, slamming hard up against the other wall. Roy groaned when he felt his manhood push against her soft stomach from the movement. He'd gotten hard all at once when he'd lifted her off the ground. He groaned again when Riza jerked his lips back to hers.
Riza gasped when she hit the wall behind her, forcing her body up tightly against his. She knew exactly what pressed against her stomach. Long, huge and hard. Well well. Her Brigadier General wasn't so mighty now...Well, in a way he was. She tore her lips away and let her head fall back against the wall. She sucked air into her lungs, a small gasp escaping her lips. She couldn't believe that she was here, doing this. In Roys arms, wearing only a bekini and her legs around his waist. Her eyes slid half closed when his lips slid down her throat. She snaked her arm out and snapped her fingers. "Go Hayate." She didn't have to say more. The dog let his tail slip between his hind legs as he ran off in the other direction. Obviously hurt by Riza's dismissal of him... Then again, she was to preoccupied with Roy.
Roy flicked his tongue over her pulse and then sucked on it. Leaving a small pink spot behind. He was going to show Riza why all the women liked him. Why HE was the one to always get them. He kept his right hand on her back right thigh as his other hand swept up behind her neck and under her hair. His fingers slid over the small knot she'd tied there to keep the top up. Right when he tugged everything went dark as the power went off. Roy smiled and kissed her shoulder. "We don't need light." He ground his hips against hers and was rewarded with a small moan from her. His little protecting Riza moaning. She wasn't so in control now and before the night was over she wouldn't have any left.
Riza stilled then as her eyes slid open. She almost screamed in frusteration, in denial. "Shhh. Listen." Her voice was a mere whisper thought it trembled when he didn't obey her. He ground himself against her again, purposfully between her legs. "Roy." She shifted up and then slid her hand down his body. Roy hardened even more when he felt her fingers skim over him and then...His eyes widened when she thumped him. He went limp and stared at her. She pushed him back slightly and let her legs slide down till her feet touched the floor. She brought her index finger to her lips.
Roy opened his mouth but stopped when he finally noticed it. It was quiet. To quiet. And then...A small noise. Of course this would happen when he finally got his chance with her. It wasn't over yet.
Riza narrowed her eyes as she glanced around the small hallway. The power had went out. Or cut out? They both spun around when they heard glass breaking and then caught sight of a shadowy figure jumping through the broken window and outside. Roy and Riza ran to the window. Riza with gun in hand. They glanced out the window but he was already gone. "What the hell?"
"I think he thought no one was here. Until he came around the corner and saw us...And the only to get out was the window..." Roy frowned, all thoughts of desire gone completely.
Riza was quiet for a moment. "Mustang." She was back to Mustang again. "The lights were on right BEFORE he came in." Meaning he knew they had been there...Riza froze when she heard a hard pounding on her door. Her and Roy slipped through the hallway and Roy opened the door slowly, Riza ready with her gun near her shoulder.
"Roy. Hes gone. He escaped. The murderer from Crimson City." Fuery gasped out. He'd come running back when he'd gotten the call.
A cold and hard feeling settled deep in Roy as he turned his gaze to Riza. He knew exactly who had broken into her home.
"What the hell is this?" Roy asked again when she didn't answer. He didn't really HAVE to ask though. He knew exactly what it was. He saw the embalem every time he used alchemy.
