Lilly began to pack her suitcases with her belongings. She had decided not to cry nor to try face the fact that she was leaving because she couldn't bare to look at Ed's face anymore. As she packed, she ran over the conversation she had the day before, with Mustang.

"Mustang, can I talk to you for a moment?" Lilly asked knocking on his office door.

"Yes, of couse, come in."

Lilly walked in. Mustang asked her to sit but she prefered to stand.

"I have decided that I no longer want to stay here. I know you won't let me leave but I thought that maybe you could transfer me to another Alchemy Headquarters. I know there is more than this one." Lilly said a little nervous.

"Why? Is something wrong?"

Mustang sat at his desk and peered at her.

"Well, in a way, yes. It's personal. I don't want to talk about it." Lilly looked away. "I just want to leave."

"I have been informing a friend at the East Headquarters about you and I am sure he would let you stay with them, but all of your records that you have so far, will stay here. I will inform Ed and Al that they are going, too." He said as he reached for the phone.

"No!" Lilly yelled. "I'm sorry, I just don't want them to come. I want to be assigned a new guardian."

"I see." He had a look as if he knew what was wrong, but Lilly chose to ignore it. "You will be leaving tommorow. I will make sure everything is taken care of."

"Thank you."

And with that she walked out

Lilly stood with her bags in her hand. She threw out her red shirt and ribbon, because it reminded her of the blood that she had spilt. Instead, she wore a pure whit summer dress and keep her hair up in a pony-tail with a white ribbon, and had on her white flats. She glanced around her room once more then walked out to the car that was waiting for her. She looked at Al who was putting her bags in the car.

"Do you really want to do this?" Al asked walking up to her.

"I can't tell you why I am, Al, but know that I still want to be your friend and will wait forever just to see you again. I have to go. I want to go." Lilly said.

She gave Al a hug and wiped her tear stained eyes. She said good-bye to everyone else and looked back at Ed, who was standing beside Winry. He was waiting for Lilly to say good-bye to him which would give him a chance to make her stay. Lilly turned her face from him and got in the car.

"What!?! She isn't even going to say good-bye to me? I may never see her again. Why is she acting like I'm not here? Why is she even leaving in the first place?

Lilly couldn't bare to look at Ed. Her heart hurt more each time she stole a glance. She hadn't heard anything about Ed and Winry getting together, but in her head she knew that they were. It pained her to see them even by eachother. So, to let the pain stop, she chose to leave.

Ed stood there watching the car pull away, finally he let his pride go and he called out after her. Lilly told the driver to go faster and soon Ed was running after it.

"Lilly! Wait! Why are you doing this!?!" Ed yelled as he ran. The car went faster and Ed stoped running knowing that he couldn't catch up. "Why are you leaving? I don't understand," he whispered to himself.

"Brother, what do we do now? Lilly's been gone for three days and we have no leads on the Philosopher Stone and now we don't have anyone to protect untill we do get a lead." Ed was sitting at his desk writing while Al and Winry were on one of the beds stareing at Ed's back. "I miss her, Brother."

"Al, don't bother me now. I am busy." Ed mummbled than sighed. I miss her, too.

"Al, why don't you go play with the dog while I talk to Ed?" Whinry whispered and Al nodded then lefted. "Ed what's wrong? Ever since the day Lilly left you have been at you desk."

"Nothing's wrong. Now leave me alone." Ed mummbled.

"I can't believe that after all this time that we have been friends, you still want talk to me! I am trying to help, Edward!"

"I don't need your help." he mummbled.

"Alright, then if you want talk about that then let's talk about the kiss. Ever since that night, you have avoided being alone with me and you still haven't answered my question." Winry stated.

"What question?" Ed mummbled again.

"You know perfectly well what question."

"Fine!" Ed shot up and turned to Winry. Shock was writen all over her face. "You want to know the answer? Well, to let you know, I don't know the answer! I use to, but now I don't! I thought I wanted to be more than friends, but now, I.......I just don't know! There! Are you happy!" He yelled then sat back down, facing her.

"No, I'm not." Winry lower her head. "I'm not happy. I wanted you to say that you want to be with me, but now I'm sure of it that you don't. Ever since you found her. This is all her fault."

"What are you talking about?"

"You have feelings for Lilly! You let me believe that you wanted to be with me, and now you tell me your not sure!?"

"I have never lead you to believe that!"

"Then why did you kiss me back that night? Why did you pull me closer? Why did you......" Winry stoped and her eyes changed. Fear came over her face as she began to answer her own questions. "It was because you wanted it to be Lilly. You imagened that I was Lilly, didn't you?" Winry whispered.

"....."

"I'm right aren't I?"

"I'm not sure why I led you on, but I didn't do it to hurt you, Winry."

"To late."

Winry left in tears. Before Ed could go after her she was already in her room getting her stuff and heading for the train. Ed watched her leave from his window. He knew that in a few days Winry would call him and they would be friends again, but untill then he would feel guilty and stupid.

I was telling the truth, I don't know why I kissed her back. I thought I wanted to be with her, but lately I feel like I don't care for her like that as much anymore. Maybe she's right. Maybe I do have feelings for Lilly. Maybe that's why I keep thinking of her and staying alone in my room........No, I can't. I don't. It's not possible. Is it?

"Brother?" Al knocked Ed out of his thoughts and back into reality. "Are you ok?"

"I'm not sure, Al."

Ed stared at Al.

"Brother, I know you miss her, too. And I am positive that she misses you, even if she didn't say good-bye. Maybe she didn't say it because it was to hard for her because she cares about you."

"Al, I think she left because of me. I think she hates me for something I may have done."

"She gave you that necklace for a reason, and if she hated you she would have tooken it back, Brother."

The necklace, I forgot all about it.

Ed clutched his fingers around the necklace. The memory of Lilly giving it to him brought a smile to his face.

"Lilly..." he whispered to himself.

"Let's bring her back, Brother. Let's go get her."

"Right!!"

L illy sat on her new bed. She had been here for two days now. All of her friends were gone. Al was no long near. And Ed ... he was gone from her forever.

I miss him even though I don't want to. I want to be near him. I want to be next to him even if it hurts. It's not suppost to feel like this. I am suppost to feel better now that I am not around him, but it seems to hurt more. I miss him. I miss home. Why should I have to stay here and pretend to forget it? It shouldn't matter that he found someone to be happy with. I should be happy for him. I would rather live there knowing he was with Winry, than not live with him in my life at all. I should go back. I am going back.

Lilly got off her bed and began to repack. Soon she was done an ended up taking a nap since it would be hours untill the train she would take would arrive. She slepted peacefully untill she was woken up by someone that she hoped she had escaped. Three men wearing all black and same outfit as before had her hands and feet tied. She tryed to screem, but found that she had a cloth around her head and in her mouth. She stuggled but found no way lose.

"What if she trys to use that power of hers again?" One of the men said.

"No, with that braclet on her she can't do anything but struggle."

Lilly tryed her best to do something to get lose but nothing she did help. She tryed to wiggle the braclet off her, but found it to be attached to her skin. Before Lilly knew it she was being hit over the head and was knocked out.

"Ed! Al!"

Ed and Al were just finishing their conversation when Mustang walked in. He looked worried and consern.

"Mustang, what's wrong."

"Lilly was kidnaped yesterday. I just got a letter from the East Headquarters telling me the they were taken by surprise just as half their people were sent on missions. It was those men again."

"Why didn't they call!?!" Ed yelled

"Their power had been cut by those men. Let's go."

"Does anyone know where they took her?" Al asked as they got in the car.

"One of the State Alchemist followed the men and sent us their hide out. We are in driving distance from the place."

"We have to hurry!" Ed yelled.

Damn it! I should have been there to protect her! I promised her I would always protect her! I have to get her back! I swear I will get her back!
