I still don't own the characters and never will, but Lilly is mine. I won't write that again. Also some of my chapters were deleted, so fixing errors and spelling on the first four will not happen. 5-now are all checked for spelling before I post them. I am sorry if it bothers you.
"Well, you can't have her!" Ed yelled at them.
"Well, well, well. It looks as if we may have a fight on our hands." Lust said with a smile. "No matter, we'll just deal with you like we did with the man you wanted to see."
"You were the one who killed the guy who had information on the Philosopher Stone!?!" Ed yelled. Of couse! The man had five wounds on him. That means that Lust stabed him with her nails. Danm her! "Why did you do it? I thought you wanted me to find it so you could take it?!"
"I couldn't let you find out were the person who is protecting the Philosopher Stone was before me, but some how she was right under your nose and you couldn't ever see it." Lust pointed out.
"She? Who are you talking about?"
"The girl."
"Lilly? But she doesn't have it!"
"You idot. The stone is in her. How else would she be able to heal herself or use that amazing power of hers?"
"How do you know this?!?"
"I have my ways. I forced a few of those men that are after her to talk. I've known for quit sometime now. I've been watching her, but could never get to close or she might her used her powers on me. I know eveything about her, and I know that the braclet keeps her at bay. Now, will you hand her over or will you die?" Lust said making her fingers grow.
Ed looked back at Lilly, who was now stareing at her body to see if she could see the stone. Al looked down at Ed and then at Lilly. Ed took one of Lilly's hands.
"Don't worry. They won't get you."
Lust must be telling the truth. Lilly is such a mystery and this explains so much. I can't let them have her. I need the Philosopher Stone for Al. I have to protect her and the stone.
Ed turned back around and faced the three fake humans. Lust smiled at him and the other two had to laugh.
"Your going to have to take her by force, because I'm not letting her go." Ed said with his teeth cluched together.
"Fine. Gluttony, Envy, get that girl!"
All at once the three came after them. Al and Ed made sure Lilly was safely between them as they prepared for a hard battle. Ed made his arm into a sword and clashed with Lust. Gluttony went after Al. Al made sure Gluttony's mouth came no where near him as he threw some punches. Envy went after Lilly. Lilly backed away from the man as he came closer. (Yes, Envy is a man. Read up on it.) Envy grabed Lilly's arms and squeezed. Blood poured from Lilly's arms where Envy dug his nails in. Lilly let out a cry and Al came running. After Al hit Gluttony in the face and knocked him a good 20 feet away, he tackled Envy. Al took on both Envy and Gluttony. Lilly looked over at Ed who was having troble with Lust and her being taller. Ed dodged as many attacks as he could, but soon got his right leg cut. Lilly gasped then unzipped her bear's pocket pulling out a white piece of chalk. She fell to her knees and began to draw a transmution circle on the road where the fight was happening. She could hear Ed cry out as his leg began to hurt when he did a flip. Lilly quickened her pace and drew one of the circles she had memorized.
"Done! Al! Over here!" Lilly yelled and got up.
Everyone snaped their attension to Lilly. Al ran towards her and Lilly ran towards Ed. Before anyone could react, Lilly tackled Ed and slid across the road as Al claped his hands and hit the transmution circle. A huge light flashed and the ground began to open. Lilly got off Ed and grabed his hand as she ran as far away as she could. The ground around Al opened up and Lust, Gluttony, and Envy fell into the huge hole. When Al pulled his hands up and looked around, the whole town had been swallowed by the huge hole. The only thing left was the ground were Al and the circle was. The hole circled around him and was about 3 miles wide. Al looked down the hole and found no end, just darkness. He yelled out for Ed and Lilly but no respond can. Suddenly a path made of graval, formed towards Al. He ran down it and didn't stop.

"Damn, Lilly! How wide is this hole? Al should have been here by now." Ed said looking at the path.
"Maybe the path you made wasn't long enough." Lilly said hoding her bear close to her.
It had been 4 hours and there was no sigh of Al. Ed had bandged up Lilly and himself with the first aid kit Lilly brought, while they waited. Lilly wasn't sure how big the hole was since the book she read said that the hole could be as long as 20 miles, it is never certain. Lilly walked to the edge of the hole and peered down it.
"Please be ok, Al." She whispered.
"Hey, Al's strong. He'll be fine. I bet he is more worryed about you than he is about himself." Ed said walking up to her.
"I can't help, but to worry. He's always been there for me. Now I feel as if I may have lost him."
Just as she said the last word Al's voice came to her and Ed's ears. They looked up and saw Al not even half a mile away. He was running fast and waving. Lilly ran towards him while tears of relief flew from her eyes. When she reached him she jumped up and landed on his metal body, knocking him over. Both laughed and got up.
"I was so worryed!" Lilly said as they started towards Ed.
"I was scared I had made the hole so big that you and Brother got lost in it."
Ed was trying not to show it, but he was more relieved then any of them. He was so scared that he had lost the only family left and almost cryed but held it back since he wanted to look brave, not worry Lilly. Al and Lilly walked up to him and Lilly smiled.
"We need to get back home. Let's look for the next town."
They walked in silence. It made Lilly uncomfortable so she tryed to lighten things up, but nothing worked untill she spoke of the Philosopher Stone.
"Ed, how do we get it out?" Lilly asked.
"Get what out?" Ed said looking confused.
"The Philosopher Stone inside of me."
"I don't know. I'm not sure if we can even get it out."
"What do you mean?"
"If we take it out, you might die. You weren't born like a real baby so you may not have the things that normal humans have. The stone may be what is helping you function." Ed said as they walked.
Lilly knew that Ed didn't mean it, but to her it sounded like he was telling her that she was a mistake and wasn't ment to be living. In a way, she knew that she wasn't really a human, but hearing it hurt her more than ever.

After a few more minutes of walking, they arrived at a town and bough train trickets. Ed and Lilly slept all the way home. Lilly slept on Ed's shoulder and Ed slept with his head rested on Lilly's. Al smiled to himself and was sad when he had to wake them with they got home.
When they reached the Headquarters, Ed took a shower and reported to Mustang with everything he had found out. Lilly got a shower and dressed for bed. As she was brushing her hair, a knock came at her door. She opened it and let Ed and Al in.
"What's wrong?" she asked them.
"We just wanted to ask how you knew about that transmution circle." Al asked
"Oh, while you were gone on a mission, I read as many books I could on Alchemy and memorized them. I wanted to keep my mind off you two being gone." Lilly smiled.
"You remembered all of them?" Ed asked.
"Yes."
Ed smiled at her which made her blush and turn away.
"Well, we also wanted to tell you that Mustang wants to run some test on you to see if we can safely get the stone out, and if we can than we will."
"And what if it can't be taken out?"
"Then we will leave it in."
"But, I thought you wanted you bodies back to normal?"
"Brother and I have decided that we won't take someone else's life for something we want. We made this mistake ourselves, and we won't take someone eles's life to correct it." Al said as Ed nodded.
"I don't know what to say..."
"You don't have to say anything. Just know that we want you safe no matter what." Ed said.
Lilly watched them leave and smiled. Al walked to his room, but Ed lingered at Lilly's door.
I want you safe so that you could live a happy life. I just hope I'm in that life with you.
Ed looked at the necklace Lilly gave him to protect. It began to glow blue, not red. Suddenly, he heard Lilly scream and ran in. Her eyes were glowing blue. Slowly a new transmution circle appeared on her forhead, also glowing blue. The braclet on Lilly's rist broke into two pieces and fell to the floor. Lilly's eyes turned back to normal and the circle faded. Ed looked at his necklace and noticed it stoped glowing. Lilly looked up at him.
"What happened?" Ed asked
"I remember everything. I was thinking of what you said before you left then, all of a sudden, I was feeling warm and happy, a bust of energy hit me like a rock. I watched you come in and even saw the braclet break. The necklace was blue, I thought you said it would turn red."
"Lilly, I don't think this is the same power. I think you have somehow changed it. Now you can remember what you did and this time you stoped yourself before you did anything bad. I think this is a good think. Maybe that memory you had about your creator was right about the necklace falling into the right hands, but why did it take so long to work?"
Lilly shook her head, saying she didn't know. Then it hit Ed.
The man told the man that killed him that if the person who Lilly gave the necklace to falls in love with her she would use her powers to protect. Is this the power he was talking about and more importantly....have I fallen in love with her?
