Things around the Headquarters seemed to get quieter, but that didn't stop Lilly from being worryed about her missing powers. Ed watched her grow for pepy to quiet and none interrested in anything, exspecialy sex, which Ed seemed to be takeing it hard. He tryed to get her into the mood but nothing seemed to get her motivated. It had been two weeks since their first and only true time. Ed was getting alittle fustrated and annoyed but he was patient and understanding but that still didn't fufill his 'needs'. Lilly didn't even seem to notice. She would be sitting on her bed and Ed would be kissing her neck, but she never reacted because she was always busy trying to make her shield come up or anything eles that could show a sign her powers still being around.
Ed finally gave up a week and a half ago. Lilly began to accept her condition but still wasn't in the mood at least that's what Ed thought. On the day Lilly was ready to give up on her power searching and was ready to have some physical fun with Ed, someone from Ed's past showed up. She had just became a State Alchemist and was transfered here.
"Welome, Celine." Mustang said shaking her hand. "We're glad to have you on the team."
The girl was as tall as Lilly and had pin stright hair that's jet black and reached to the bottom of her shoulder blades. She wore camo colored capris and a blank tank to with net like sleeves. Her combat boots had heels on them that made her as tall as Ed if he didn't wear his shoes. Everyone was there to greet her except Ed and Lilly who was running down the stairs to see who the new comer was. They had reached the bottom just as Al was giving the girl a hug and laughing. Lilly took Ed's hand and followed him to the girl. Ed took one look at her and droped Lilly's hand. Lilly was confussed.
"Celine!" Ed yelled.
"Edward!!" she ran to him and wraped her arms around him. Ed smiled and returned her hug."After you saved me from being killed by my father to bring my mother back, I decided to become a State Alchemist like you. I wanted to help people like you helped me. I never thought I would see you again." She said then pulled away. "It's so good to see you, Edward. We have so much to catch up on."
"Right."Ed said. Lilly cleared her thoat and Ed looked behind him. Lilly was wearing a new white dress that Ed had bought her and her hair in a half ponytail with her arms across her chest. "Oh, Celine this is Lilly. Lilly, I met Celine in a town a year ago. Her mother had died and her father was planing to use Celine's body as her mother's to bring her back from the dead. Luckly me and Al saved her and almost brought her along with us on our journey but she had decided to stay. While we stayed there, she had treated us with kindness like no other. She was a good friend." Ed said.
Celine laughted and Lilly smiled.
"It's nice to meet you, Celine. Ed and Al saved me too. Ed and I have also became close and are now..."
"So, how long are you staying here?" Ed asked interrupting Lilly.
Lilly face became confussed as Ed and Al walked off with Celine. She didn't even get a proper hello with the girl before they took off with her. Why has he ingored me? He has never blown me off before. Have I done something wrong?

Celine, Al, and Ed had begun to spend the whole day with eachother and with Winry back at home, Lilly had nothing to do. She tryed to tag along with Ed and the others but they never seemed to notice her. Celine had told Ed and Al all about her days after they had left. It wasn't untill Celine put her hand in Ed's that Lilly started to get jealous. She watched as Ed would pull his hand away from Celine and not say anything, but somehow Celine's hand would end up back in his. He never said anything which made Lilly's face red with built up anger.
About lunch time, Ed, Al and Celine went outside for a picnick. Lilly went after them but sat at a good distance since she didn't want to be around Ed and Celine at the moment, but she did want to make sure nothing happened. She watched as Celine picked a spot under a huge tree and Al layed a blanket down. Ed sat down and Celine sat right beside him with Al in front of them. Lilly sat on a fence about 20 feet away, she didn't even touch her food. She watched as they all laughed and crossed her arms across her chest with envy and jealousy.
Ed started to become a little uncomfortable when Celine grabed his hand after they finished. Lilly let out an angry puff of air and Ed let Celine's hand go. Al excussed himself to go play with the dogs inside. Ed and Celine were left alone with Lilly watching and listening from afar. Celine moved closer to Ed and Ed froze. Why is she doing this? Lilly is watching and I don't feel comfortable alone with Celine. She and I have a wierd past. One I don't want to think about. Celine put her hand on Ed's knee and moved her hand up to his thigh. Ed's eyes widened and he moved away, only to be pined infront of a tree and it's roots. He couldn't go anywhere.
"You know, Ed, I have missed those nights we spent together at my house when we first met. It was really great even though it was only for fun. We should do it again." Celine said and moved between his legs.
"Uuuhhh, Celine, I'm kinda with Li..." Ed said trying to push her away without trying to hurt her.
"Shhhh. No talking. Maybe if we don't talk that girl on the fence will go away." Celine said and moved her hands up his chest.
Lilly jumped of the fence. That's it!!! Lilly started towards Ed and Celine and cleared her voice to get Celine's attention as she stood behind her. Celine looked behind her and up at Lilly.
"Can I help you? We are kinda in the middle of something." Celine said.
Lilly's hands balled into a fist and her finger nail dug into her skin.
"Yes, you can. You can get off Ed." Lilly said gripping her teeth together.
"If Ed wanted me off he would say something. But since he hasn't and he doesn't belong to you then I guess I can't help you." Celine snapped.
"You don't understand, Ed does belong to me. He and I are together!" Lilly yelled.
Celine went pale. She looked at Ed. His face was shocked. He looked like he had just done something wrong and got caught. Lilly turned her back to him and Celine.
"On second thought, you can have him. Apparently he doesn't want to be with me since he didn't tell you to stop." Lilly said as tears fell from her eyes. "I'm sorry I interrupted."
Ed could hear the pain in her voice even though he couldn't see her face. Lilly began to run towards to building and Ed pushed Celine off him.
"Lilly, wait!!" Ed said and started after her.
Celine watched Ed catch up to Lilly and pull her into his chest. Lilly sobbed and began to beat on Ed's chest to brake free but Ed held on tight to her. Celine stood up to get a better view.
"Let me go!! I don't want you to touch me you lier!!!" Lilly screamed and struggled against Ed's strong arms.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you." Ed said holding her close.
"You let her do those things to you and you didn't say anthing to her!! You told me you loved me!!! If you did you wouldn't have let her go that far!! Your a lier and a cheater!! LET ME GO!!!" Lilly screamed.
Those words hit Ed hard. His heart felt crushed and smashed. She's right. I shouldn't have let Celine go so far, it's not like the old days when me and her were free to do what we wanted. But Lilly is wrong about me not loving her.
"Lilly, I do love you. I didn't think that Celine's and my reuion would be this way. Your right, I did let it go to far and I'm sorry for that. Please don't be mad. I am truly sorry." Ed pleaded.

"Then go tell her that you choose me. I want you to tell her to keep her hands to herself." Lilly mummbled.

"Then untill you do, you can stay away from me." Lilly said then pulled away before Ed could react.
Lilly ran inside and up to her room. She knew Ed was running behind he so she locked her door as she ran in and slamed it. Ed began to bang on it after twisting the knob.
"Lilly, come on. Let me in." Ed said.
People pasted by him and watched him bang on the door with his small pleads. Ed gave them all evil looks. Mustang and Hawkeye walked by just as Ed had said he loved her and would do anything for her and both State Alchemist stoped and walked up behind Ed. Ed didn't notice them untill he turned around and sat at the bottom of the door. Mustang was laughing while Hawkeye had a serious face on.
"What do you want?" Ed asked coldly.
"We've never seen you plead for something." Mustang said and sat beside him. "It's kinda cute." He joked and laughed.
Hawkeye had to laugh then sat on the other end of Ed. Ed crossed his arms cross his chest and looked down.
"So what did you do to eare this?" Hawkeye asked.
"You know that new girl, right?" Ed started.
"Celine, right?" Mustang said.
"Yeah, well, I let her hold my hand and never comfronted her about me and Lilly. Lilly got pretty upset and now she said that I don't love her, I'm a lier, and to stay away for her untill I tell Celine to stay away from me. She doesn't want Celine anywhere near me." Ed said.
"You idot. You were so wrong for letting that girl come between you and Lilly. I watched you ignore her all day because your old flame came here." Hawkeye said and smacked him in the back of the head.
"Hey!" Ed said rubbing his head. "She isn't my old flame either."
"Then why is she acting like she is?" Hawkeye asked.
"Well, we never went out, it was more of a physical realationship. We only had...well..."
"You two only had sex and no real relationship." Mustang said casually.
"Yeah." Hawkeye smacked him in the head again. "Hey! Cut it out!"
"You're so stupid. You really think that you could just sleep with her and not get your emtions involved? She probably thought that you cared for her and became a State Alchemist for you. Whatever you and her went through in the past must have really made her like you." Hawkeye said.
"I made it clear to her when we first started fooling around that I didn't want a relationship untill I found the Philosopher Stone. I also told her that I liked someone eles. We both agreed that me and her were only doing it for fun and nothing more. It was just something to pass the time." Ed said.
"You don't deserve Lilly."

"She put all her trust in you and expressed her love for you countless times, and you ditch her for an old sex buddy? You kept this from her and exspected her to understand why you and Celine were so close. She is probably thinking she had done something wrong or isn't good enough for you, and here you are worrying about hurting Celine's feeling when all Lilly wants you to do is stay away from the girl you are physical attracted to."
"How did you know I am still attracted to her?" Ed asked looking guilty.
"Why else would you be hanging out with a girl and ignoring Lilly? Let me guess..." Hawkeye smiled and looked Ed in the eyes. "Lilly and you haven't had sex in a while and you felt like you were being ignored although she was still around you?"
"Yeah, but I didn't hang out with Celine because I thought she would fulfill my needs. I did it because I missed and old friend and I didn't think that Lilly would care since she was so worried about her missing powers. I never thought, even for a second, that me and Celine would do what we did in the past. I would never do that to Lilly. I love her." Ed said.
"Did you ever stop to think about how Lilly was feeling now that her powers are gone? She felt safe when she had them and now she feels weak and useless. How would you feel if you lost you Alchemy and couldn't protect youself or the ones you love?"
"I didn't think that she would be so upset about it. I promised that I would always protect her but the one thing I couldn't protect her from was me and my stupid selfishness." Ed said hanging his head low.
"I think you need to talk to her and tell her that your sorry for real, not because you think it's the right thing to do. She is really hurt right now and she needs you even though she says she doesn't."
"Yeah, even I wouldn't be so selfish about my needs before Hawkeye's." Mustang said cutting in.
"Wait a mintue! Ed knows about us!!??!!" Hawkeye screamed and stood up.
Mustang stood up and walked over to her.
"I'm in troble aren't I?" Mustang said.
"You bet your ass."
Hawkeye walked away with Mustang followed behind her with a silly grin. Ed laughed to himself and stood up. He faced Lilly's door and claped his hands. He placed his hands on the knob and it unlocked. He walked in and closed the door behind him. Lilly was standing in front of the door and holding her bear with tears flowing down her red cheeks. Ed looked at her as she droped her bear. She took a step to him then threw her body at him. He wraped his arms around her as she nuzzled her head in his chest.
"I heard what you said about me."
"How much did you hear?" Ed said not wanting her to know about his and Celine's past.
"I started to listen in when I heard Hawkeye ask you if you ever stoped to think about my feeling now that my powers are gone. You don't have to protect me from yourself. I don't need it, because I don't want it."
"I'm sorry I didn't seem to care and that I ignored you today. I'm going to tell Celine about us and that she is going to have to accept it." Ed said.
Thank God she didn't hear about me and Celine. I wouldn't know how to cover that up.
"I forgive you and I'm sorry I over reacted a little. I do want you and her to still be friends and I do want to be her friend. I guess I just got a little jealous. Can't we just forget this ever happened?" Lilly asked.
"Yeah, whatever you want." I owe it to her since I am keeping a secret from her about Celine and me.
"Can I ask you a question?"

"Sure."
"What did Celine mean when she said she missed those nights you and her spent together at her house when you two first meet? What was she talking about?" Lilly asked and looked up at him.
I was so close!!! I could have gotten away with it and yet she had to remember that!!!
