Ed walked home and quietly walked upstairs. Everyone watched his black face as he walked with his head low. People began to whisper about him but he didn't even notice. He walked up to his room and fell onto his bed leaving his door wide open. Celine walked in and shut it behind her. Ed sat up and looked away from her. Celine walked over to his bed and sat beside him.
"Al, told me that you and him found...." Celine began.
"Why didn't you tell me?" Ed said cutting her off in a hurt voice.
"I didn't want anyone to know. I was ashamed and....scared." Celine said looking down.
"Does no one else know?" Ed asked still not looking at her.
"Lilly did." Ed's face snapped towards her. "She was there when I got home, she helped me get cleaned up and even let me sleep in her bed while she stayed up and watched over me." Celine said looking at him in the eyes.
"Lilly...." Ed whispered then looked down.
"That's why I left and that's why I won't use Alchemy anymore. I joined this for you, but once I found out that you had fallen in love, I found no reason to stay. But Lilly.....when the word got out of her missing, I knew I had to come help. She was the only one I could really trust and now...." Celine whispered then began to cry.
"I didn't think anyone really cared that she was gone, I knew that they wanted to help but I didn't think they really cared." Ed said.
"YOUR NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO LOST HER, DAMN IT!!!" Celine screamed and made him face her. "We all miss her and won't her home. Stop thinking that no one cares sbout her or you, because everyone does, Ed. You just have to open you eyes and see those people."
Ed looked her in the eyes and then felt her arms come around him. He didn't hug her back, instead he pushed her away. Celine looked hurt as Ed pushed him from her.
"I don't want you to care about me. I'm not the one who needs it, Lilly does." Ed said and walked over to the window.
"You can't help Lilly, if you can't help yourself, Edward." Celine said then headed for the door. "She would want you to help her, but not while hurting yourself."
Ed turned and faced her then ran over to her before she grabed the door knob.
"I know. It's just hard when you lost someone that you love and you can't seem to find a way to get them back."
"Ed, you haven't lost her, she's still here, you just got to help her see that." Celine said putting her hand on his cheek.
Ed moved her hand.
"Please don't touch me like that, Celine. I can't controll myself if you keep doing these things." Ed said.
"What do you mean?" Celine said looking confussed.
"I still like you, but I can't have a realationship with you." Ed said not noticing the words that left his lips untill it was to late.
"You..still like me.....I don't understand, why can't we be together, Ed? I care about you and you...."
"I love Lilly and I won't settle for anyone else. I have to have her back in my arms. I'm sorry, it's just how I feel." Ed said.
"You love Lilly....that makes since....." Celine said. "I have to go...."
Celine walked out leaving the door open and her face with a hurt expression on. Did you really expect him to be with you while Lilly was gone? He loves her and they belong together.....then why does it hurt so much to hear him say that?

Ed reported what Lilly had said about Corden and Mustang knew that he was the one pulling all the strings. Now everyone knew that Corden was responsible for Lilly's memory loss and was the one that keep sending people after her in the past.
"Now that he has her there is no telling what he will use her for." Mustang said.
"I don't think that Lilly likes listening to him to much." Al said and everyone turned to face him with confussed looks on. "The way that she seems to talk and act around Lust and her crew makes me think that she doesn't like taking orders. I mean, when Envy told her that he didn't like her to much, Lilly almost killed him. Lust isn't incharge of her little gang anymore. She said that Lilly could easly kill them so I think they fear her. Lilly just follows them around because she has no memory of anything else and I'm sure they were the first people she met when Corden took her memory away. She probably only sticks around and does what he says because she doesn't know what else to do. But I am certain that she knows that she could easly controll them if she wanted to." Al said as everyone looked at him.
"That makes since. She can use her power whenever she feels like it and doesn't care what happens to anyone who gets in the way." Mustang said.
"I don't think that's true." Winry said.
Everyone looked at her and Al spoke for her.
"She's right. If she didn't care for other's safty, she would have destroyed the wall the Brother created for us while they fought. To me it seems like she doesn't want anyone invovled in anything she does unless they have to be. She even took down the barrier only to let us help Brother. She doesn't want anyone hurt." Al pointed out.
"You sure do know alot about her." Hawkeye said.
"When she looked me in the eyes, I had the feeling of fear, but at the same time hope. I believe that she wants to remember what she lost and I believe she still is the same person that we know and have grown to love. The way that she fought, makes me believe that she wanted to fight as far away from us as possible. In a way, that's the same Lilly that we use to know. The past Lilly would do the same thing, so I know that she is still in there, we just have to bring her out."
"Then the next time we fight, I'll be sure to get some information about her memories to her. I refuss to fight her because I could easly....." Ed said but was then cut off.
"Ed, if you don't truly fight her, she will never take the fight seriously and therefor not take you seriously." Celine said.
"She's right, Ed." Hawkeye said while everyone nodded.
"So your sayig I should fight her?" Everyone nodded. "Are you all fucking crazy!!!??? What is I hurt her!?!" Ed screamed.
"We all know that she is a better fighter then you, Ed." Mustang said.
Ed began to steam.
"We are only saying that if you train harder and fight her, maybe she will find interrest in fighting you and might even listen to you when you talk to her. She may end up trusting you. If Al is right and she is still the same Lilly, and we all know Lilly, then she will find fighting you fun and maybe even a challenge and might begin to find you worthy of her trust." Winry said.
"I guess...but I don't want to push her away..."
"It's worth a shot, Ed, we've tryed everything else to reach her, and we all know that she won't talk when those three idiots are around....." Celine said.
"That's it!" Al shouted and everyone looked at him. "If we keep Lust, Gluttony, and Envy busy, then Ed could have some time to talk to Lilly while they fight. Lust will be to occupied to tell Lilly to fight and not to talk." Al said smiling as if he had won a prize.
"That's perfect." Mustang said. "Alright, everyone will practice extra hours for the next few days or weeks, and when I think we are ready, we will go after Lilly and the others." Mustang ordered.
Everyone nodded and agreed.
The next few days, eveyone worked harder then they thought possible. Ed worked harder then them all and pushed himself to go the extra mile knowing that when he fights Lilly, that it will come in handy. Some people thought he was pushing himself to hard but they knew that if they said anything, Ed would only snap their heads off for even thinking it. Al and Ed fought together like they use to when Al had a metal body. Both became very good at it and soon enough, Mustang was smiling to himself from a far.
"It's time." Mustang said turning to Hawkeye.
She nodded then left to tell everyone else.

Ed and the others walked to the medow that Ed and Lilly had their first fight. Ed looked around for any sign of Lilly or the others. Everyone keep their eyes open for any sign of anything different. After some waiting, Lilly and the other three came from the forest.
"We had a feeling that you would be here after all your hard practice." Envy said laughing evilly.
"You've been spying on us?!?!" Al shot back.
"Lilly got corious about what was taking Fullmetal so long to come back." Lust said.
"Leave me out of you pathetic lies, Lust." Lilly said not looking at her.
Lust's smile left and she mummbled something under her breath then resumed her smile. Mustang turned to the group.
"Celine and Armstong take Gluttony, Al and Havoc take Envy, Hawkeye and I will take Lust. If anyone needs help, call out. Those of you that don't have Alchemic power, use your very best skills." Mustang said.
Everyone parted and Hawkeye took out her guns with a smile.
"This is going to be fun." She said.
"Stay close." Mustang whispered.
Hawkeye looked shocked. He really wants me safe, I didn't think he cared that much. She nodded and Mustang smiled.
Ed looked Lilly in the eyes. She stared at him blankly and walked forward. Ed met her half way then took off his jacket and shirt leaving his undershirt on.
"This will e most interresting, Fullmetal." Lilly said.
"Please call me Ed, Lilly. You always have, even when we made love." Ed said.
Lilly's eyes got big but quickly went to normal. I seem to have gotten her attention. Now maybe I can reach to her.
"Al, told me that you and him found...." Celine began.
