Winry greeted the boys and the still sleeping Lilly once they arrived. Al had called her before they left and told her why they were caming and what happened to Lilly. Ed was holding Lilly close to his chest as Winry walked up to then with a conserned smile.
"How is she doing?" Winry asked and looked down at the sleeping girl in Ed's protective arms.
"She hasn't awaken once since we left." Ed said shaking his head.
"Riza said, before we left, that the potion was really stong and would keep her asleep for a good while." Al said.
Winry turned and looked at him. Her face brightened.
"Well, I am going to go put her in the guest room. Then I'll help get the stuff in." Ed said heading for the door and glancing over his shoulder at the two lovers. Al had better think me later for this.
Once Ed was inside, Winry ran into Al's arms and didn't hesitate to meet his lips with hers. Al welcomed the warm kiss and lifted her off the ground to pull her as close as posible. After a while they parted and Al placed her back on her feet. She rested her head on his chest and closed her eyes as Al held her against him.
"I was so scared it would be forever before I would get to see you again." Winry whispered.
"Forever is such a long time. Did you really think I would stay away for that long?" Al asked but didn't let her reply.
Instead he planted a most passionate kiss on Winry's awaiting lips.

Ed placed Lilly in the sun lit bed and carefully put her legs under the covers. Ed walked over to the window and peered down at Al and Winry. They had parted from their embrass and began to bring the bags of stuff Ed and Al had brought and the things Ed had packed for Lilly. Ed headed for the door but turned to face Lilly's sleeping body. He walked up to her and gently stroked her cheek. She moved a little and Ed jumped back as Lilly's eyes fluttered open. She looked around confussedly and suddenly her eyes began to show fear and confussion. Ed placed a hand on her shoulder and she jumped and closed her eyes tight without seeing who is was that touched her. She let out a small cry.
"Hey. Shhhh." Ed said comforting. "Don't worry your safe. I won't harm you."
Lilly opened her eyes and looked at Ed.
"Your...that boy...from my dream....i think...." Lilly said and sat up. "I....can't remember."
"You have lost your memory. All you can remember is..." Ed began.
"That man!!! He stuck something in my arm!!! And that other man tryed to protect me....I don't even know who he is..." Lilly said. "But you. I remember that....UHGG!!! All I know is that you look familar..."
No...she can't remember her and my kiss! She must have lost her memory of half that day too. Now she doesn't remember me. What am I going to do? Where am I going to start?
"I'm....scared...I don't know who I am or why I'm here, but then I see your face and I feel like I am safe. I guess that makes no since...." Lilly said now crying.
"Hey, it's ok." Ed pulled her into his arms. Lilly was shocked and didn't move. "I know that you can't remember, but we once use to do this all the time. When you got scared, I would hold you. There is so much you need to learn and remember now, am I am going to be right beside you the whole way. I'll never leave you." Ed whispered.
Lilly soacked up the words then hesitated. She shook her head then Ed pulled her closer. Lilly let go of her fear and busted into deep tears. Ed had never seen her cry that hard before. Her body shook, her loud crys were piercing, and tears heavy. Ed could only hold her and tyr to comfort her. Al and Winry walked in and saw they. Al looked at Ed and Ed looked behind his shoulder at them. He mouthed for them to get Lilly some hot tea and some food, while he tryed to calm her. They nodded and left.

A month past, and Ed had bought Lilly winter clothes and it started to snow towards the end of the month. Al and Winry worked with Ed to help Lilly to adjust to life and her new surroundings. She became very understanding and Al soon noticed that her old personality was back, but not her memory. Winry watched as Al took up the protective roll like he use to have. It brought her a smile each day to watch him run around and try to catch Lilly from burning herself or from eating things that she wasn't familar with. Al tryed his best to explain to Lilly about things without her getting her feelings hurt. Ed would be gone most of the day finding thinks to help teach Lilly.
One day after Al had chased Lilly down and taken a knife from her, he quickly explained to her that is was dangerous and Lilly understood. He and Winry played with her in the snow untill she pasted out from exhastion. Al took her inside and layed her on the couch by the fire and Winry made him and her some hot chocolate. They sat at the table and Al laded his head down.
"She is so courious. It's hard to keep up with her. We have to teach her everything all over again." Al said then lifted his head to sipe the hot goodness.
"I thought she couldn't talk when you first found her." Winry said.
"Yeah, but she can talk as if she knows everything. I don't get it, but she just doesn't remember certain things. It's probably another affect of the potion used on her. Ed, seems to foces on her every moment he can, and he trys so hard to get her to remember him and the way he fells for her. He told me that he doesn't want her to know that he loves her untill she understands it clearly." Al said staring at the cup.
"Speaking of the shorty...." Winry said pointing to the window.
Ed was walking to the door and opened it. He was carring some chocolate and a small box. Al and Winry looked at him as he took off his jacket and boots, then shook the snow off.
"Hey, guys. Where's Lilly?" Ed asked looking at them.
"In the couch asleep. I give up on watching her during the day. She is such a handful. You stay home and watch her! e and Winry are going out tommorow!" Al said.
"We are?" Winry said looking confussed.
"Yes, we are." Al said giving her a look that said 'we have to get away from here.'
"You make Lilly sound like a child." Ed said walking over to the sleeping girl.
"Well, Ed, we really don't know her age. We just guessed. But she is really active and what's to learn everything. And she is always ask when you are coming home." Al said.
"She does?" Ed said as more of a statment then a question.
Her brushed her hair back and Lilly woke. She looked up at him and smiled.
"Your home!!" She cryed and bounced on him.
Both hit the floor with Lilly on top and laughing. Ed blushed and didn't understand why. Lilly got up and yawned. She looked at Ed who was still blushing.
"Edward, your cheeks are red. Why?" Lilly asked and tilted her head.
Ed blushed even more as Winry and Al laughed.
"It's...the cold air, and when I walked into the warm air, it was a big change for my body so it...uh...changed colors." Ed said trying to cover his blush.
"Oh...I don't get it." Lilly said scratching her head.
"It's okay Lilly. Niether do Al and I." Winry said laughing.
Lilly smiled.

Li lly began to have small glimps of her past as she slept. Each time she woke up, she would tell Ed and the others all about it. Ed would smile at her progress but she never had huge memories. She only had ones of them teaching her in the past and sometimes had ones of her and Ed. She never thought much about the ones with Ed because they never showed much. All she could remember was that they were holding hands at times and at other times turning re when the other one caught the other one staring at them. She didn't understand what it meant so she didn't think much about it.
Ed and Winry worked with Lilly the next two months while Al worked on reports for Mustang that were way over due. Lilly caught on quick as she did the first time she was taught in the past. Soon she had everything down packed, but just like last time, no one had told her about love or sex. Ed talked to Winry about it and Winry decided to tell her about it when the time was right. Ed thanked her.
Days past and it seemed as if Ed and Al were feeling as if they actually got time to rest. They spent days relaxing and feeling at home. Winry ened up showing Al hthe house although he wasn't interrested in those types of thinks. He olny did it for her. Soon it was six months of being gone from work and helping Lilly had pasted. It was almost time to go back.
