Lilly woke with the sound of yells and metal hitting metal. She shot up with Rika in her arms. Winry was sitting beside her watching with horror in her eyes as the others battled for their lives. Lilly looked down at Rika. She smiled that her baby was safe. Suddenly the top of the car was riped open. Lilly and Winry shot their heads up and became face to face with Gluttony. They screamed. Ed and Al turned their heads towards Winry and Lilly's voices. By that time, Gluttony had Winry thrown out of the car and slidding across the dirt. Al ran over to her. She was bloody with cuts and scraps but was fine enough to stand. Ed watched in horror as Lilly was picked up by her throat. Lilly held Rika close to her to keep her form harms way. Gluttony licked his lips. Ed claped his hands and placed them on the ground. A huge rock wall came in between Lilly and Gluttony. Gluttony droped Lilly and she landed on the dirt. She quickly got up and ran over to Al since he was the closes. Al got in front of Lilly and Winry and looked over at Ed. Ed was steaming with anger.
"Al! Protect her and Rika with your life!" Ed yelled knowing that he was to far away to reach Lilly before Gluttony would get to them.
Al nodded and drew a small circle in the dirt. Riza saw what he was doing and ran over to him since she was only a few feet away. She nodded at Al and stood beside Lilly. Al took this clue. He clapped his hands and faced Winry. Placing his hands on the circle, he looked up and smiled at Winry before four walls came up around her, Lilly, and Riza protectivly. Once they did, Al made it look like a tree to blend in with it's surroundings so no one would be able to pick it out from the others. Winry banged on the walls.
"Al don't!!! Don't leave me!!! I don't want you to get hurt!!!" Winry cryed.
"Don't worry, Winry, these guys are easy with the six of us. You and Lilly stay put so you won't get hurt." Al said threw the walls.
Winry shook her head no. She knew something wasn't right. She could feel it. Why would Gluttony and Envy be alone going against six State Alchemist with four of them using Alchemy? It didn't seem to fit. They had something planed and Winry knew it. She turned to face Lilly and Riza.
"Are you ok? Your neck I mean." She asked knowing she had to be strong.
"Yeah, I'm fine. How about you? You took a bad throw against the ground." Lilly asked placing Rika in Riza's arms to see Winry's wounds.
"I'm ok. Just a few scratches." Winry said smiling.
Lilly riped some loose strips from her tone dress at the bottom. She cleaned the wounds the best she could and used the strips to stop the blood from the deep wounds. Winry smiled and hugged her. Lilly took Rika back from Riza and the three girls sat down against one of the cold walls. Riza turned to Winry and Lilly.
"I may not have said it out loud, but I promised Al and Ed I would protect you two. I intend to keep that promise, even if it means losing my life." Riza said with a serious look.
"Riza..." Both Lilly and Winry said together.
Riza softened a little and she smiled. The other girls smiled back and silent tears fell down all their eyes. They snuggled together of comfort.
"Something doesn't feel right. And it scares me." Lilly mummbled.
"I can feel it to." Winry said.
"We all can." Riza added.

Just as Al finished the wall another car drove up and came to a spinning stop. Dr. Mile jumped out of the car and rushed over to him.
"Dr. Mile, you shouldn't be here! Things are about to get serious!" Al shouted as he looked over at the confussed team.
"Yes, I know but I have something of great importance to tell you about Lilly. My test were wrong, she is...." Dr. Mile began.
"Talk about it later! We are in the middle of a battle!" Ed shouted.
"Yes, but I must inform you that..."
"Enough talk already! Let's get down to business!" Envy shouted.
Ed turned his head to Envy and got caught with a foot to the jaw. Ed yelled out and hit the ground. Mustang ran over to him and snaped his fingers causing Envy to be in flames so Ed could get up. Envy jumped out of the flames laughing. Ed stood up and wiped the blood from his mouth. Gluttony ramed Al and Armstong when the weren't paying attention and both hit a tree. The held their ribs knowing they broke a few. Al spit out blood and Armstong helped him up since he was as bad off. Al cringed in pain as they walked over to Havoc for cover while they caught their breath. Havoc shot a few rounds at Gluttony but none hit him because of his inhuman speed. Just as he was running around to dodge their shots, Envy yelled out 'attack' and out of no where hundreds of men dressed in black came from around a hill. Everyone gasped. They knew there was no way they could take on that many Alchemist alone.
"After I killed that dumb ass Corden, I made these idiots follow me orders or they die. Meet my team and your last fight!" Envy called as he stuck at Ed once more.

< br> Lilly and the other girls could hear the sounds of yells and fires along with Alchemic energy outside the thick walls. The got nervous with fear and worry about their loved once and friends. Lilly clung to Rika closly, to mack sure she was safe. Suddenly, Rika began to cry. Everyone turned to her.
"Lilly, try to calm her! She'll give our position away!" Riza cryed.
"I'm trying! She wants her father!" Lilly cryed back while bouncing Rika.
"Maybe she's hungry." Winry said.
"No, when she's hungry she crys differently. This is her daddy cry. She hasn't seen him all day." Lilly said trying to calm her. "I don't know how I know this, call it a mother thing."
Rika only got louder.

Havoc turned to Al.
"I can hear Rika crying! I'm sure that the bad dressed ass holes can too!" He yelled.
"Al turned to Ed after hiting someone in the jaw.
"Ed! Rika's crying! What do we do?" Al called fearing that Rika would give away the girls hidden position.
"Damn!" Ed called while trying to fend off Envy and think of a plan for the girls.
"To late!" Envy called after hearing the whole conversation. "Find that baby's cry!!!" Envy yelled to his men.
Ed turned pale.

Riza stood in front of Lilly and Winry with her gun pointed out. She caould see the Alchemy working it's way to destroying their hide out.
"This is it you two! Once the walls disappear, run! Don't look back!!" Riza cryed.
Lilly and Winry nodded as Riza looked over her shoulder at them. The walls disappeared and before Riza could shot, she was swarmed with men.
"Run damn it!" She called to Lilly and Winry.
Winry took Lilly's free hand and took off. She looked everywhere for Ed or Al. Just as she spoted them both she and Lilly heard a blood spilling scream. Riza. Lilly turned around to look and to run to help her but Winry pulled her firmly with her. She turned to Lilly as they ran with tears streaming down her face.
"Never look back, Lilly! Never look back at what you know can cause nothing but pain!" Winry cryed.
Lilly felt blood hit her shoulders from other men. She prayed that Rika's blanket was shielding her from the blood. Tears flew from her face just as fast as they were running. She could see Ed and Al fighting side by side and prayed that she wouldn't be in the way. She looked around and saw Armstong guarding Dr. Mile. She wondered why he was here but just as quick as it entered her worried mind, it vanished.

"RIZA!!!!!!!!!!!!" Mustang yelled once he heard her scream.
Rage took over his body and with one flick of his fingers, he started to clear a path towards Riza's scream. He cleared the men off the body he assumed was Riza's. Once he had, he could see her. She was covered in her own blood with to many to count stabe wounds all over her body. Her gun was still in her hand and her eyes still open in horror. Mustang closered her eyes and touched her cold cheek. Tears burned his eyes and broke free. He yelled out a battle cry the stood up and flamed anything and everything in his way. He stood close to Riza's body as if he was still protecting her.
Ed turned to face in the direction of Mustang's cry. That's when he saw Lilly and Winry running towards him at full speed and tears flying in the wind. He was happy that Envy got board with him and decided to hop in a tree to view the battle. Now he was only fighting the men dressed in black. Al looked at him and he too had saw the girls. They cleared a path towards them in case someone tryed to attack them while they were trying to get to them. Once they had reached them, Ed embrassed Lilly then pulled her away in arms length. He gave her a look of consern. Rika was still crying.
"Al, can you cover us for a moment?" Ed asked.
"You got it!" Al cryed as Winry stood behind him.
Just as he said that, Armstrong and Havoc along with a scared doctor showed up beside them.
"Mind if we help?" Havoc said with his cigarette sticking out of his smile.
Ed smiled at him and nodded.
As the men circled around Lilly, Ed, and Winry they began to fighting. Ed took Rika from Lilly and kissed her head. He talked to her gently and got her to stop crying. Lilly smiled though she still had tears. Ed handed her back to Lilly. He kissed Lilly's lips and smiled.
"Everything is going to be ok. We can take these guys." Ed assured him.
Lilly nodded to hind her true feelings of worry. Ed then joined the other men.
"Let's work our way over to Mustang, but don't break the circle! We have to protect the girls and Dr. Mile!" Ed cryed.
All the men nodded and began to move. Mustang was only a few feet away some getting to him wouldn't take long. Lilly and Winry stayed close to eachother and moved within the circle. Once they had finally reached Mustang, both girls acreamed at the sight of Riza's bloody body. The men gasped. Everyone was now in tears and ready to kick ass. Al was still in pain from the blow to the tree and Ed was still affected by the blows Envy had put on him out of luck. Armstong and Havoc had blood coming from different places while Mustang's jacket was torn to pieces and blood flew from from his wounds. Each guy was covered in dirt and blood, and now with tears. They hurt and it was visible. Lilly and Winry looked up at the men in black and could tell that there was a least one hundred and fifty left. They had killed off more than half, but it only seemed like a few.
Each one of their hearts beat to a different drum but all felt the pain of losing a friend, some more than others. Mainly Mustang. Envy began to clap his hands as Gluttony licked his lips beside him. Everyone got quiet and looked up at them.
"Well, you have made it this far. And only one of you died. How sad." Envy said sacasticly.
"Shut up you bastard!" Mustang shouted.
"Now that you have made it this easy to kill you, I won't waste any time. You are all exhausted and that makes hearing you scream even more pleasurable." Envy noted.
He and Gluttony jumped down from the tree and walked over to the group. They stood in front of their army and only feet away from Ed and the others. Lilly handed Rika to Winry and walked in front of Ed and the others.
"Lilly! Get back over hear!" Ed said in a shaky demanding voice.
"No more. I can not stand by and watch you kill any more for my life." Lilly said looking at Envy. "I will stop you with my bare hands if I have to."
Envy laughted.
"You are a human now! What can you possible do?" Envy said pointing at her.
Lilly's eyes becan to glow blue. Ed looked at his necklas and saw it too was blue.
How can this be? Dr. Mile said she was human. Ed turned to face the doctor. He came here to tell us something about Lilly. Could it be that he was wrong on Lilly being human?
