Chapter Eight: Andy The Hellhound

Edward was speechless. He opened his mouth several times to say something but nothing came out. Roy thought he looked like a fish out of water.

Ok, when the Fuck did this happen? Edward thought to himself as he played with one of the loose feathers. He had somehow willed his wings back into his shoulders, but for how long he didn't know.

“Do you understand what you have to do now?” Edward heard but he hadn't really been listening to neither Roy nor Jean. He looked up at his lover with wide eyes and an open mouth.

“I'll take that as a no,” Roy said as he walked over to Edward and cupped his face.

“Edward, the Counsel meets in a month, you have to be trained in the way of the Emperor,” Roy told him and Edward met his eyes and nodded.

“Can we train in Resembool?” Edward asked his lover with determination. Roy thought about it, and then smiled. Resembool was a quite little town; Edward could also spend some time with his mother.

“That's the best idea I've ever heard come out of your mouth Edward,” Roy said as he plucked the feather from Edward's hands and tickled his nose with it. Edward's mouth did the fish out of water again until he realized what Roy had just implied.

“WHO YOU CALLIN A SMALL BRAIN PRIMEAPE WITH A DISTRUCTION COMPLEX!!!” Edward shouted and everyone laughed. The door opened and a smiling Alphonse Elric walked into the room and embraced his brother.

“Brother! I'm so glad you have decided to go back home for your training, when can we leave?” Alphonse asked and Edward looked at Roy and then Jean for assistance.

“Kids…” Came a new voice. Everyone's heads turned to see a young woman with long flowing red hair and viper emerald green eyes. She looked at Roy and then at Edward. Edward's eyebrow rose and he looked at the girl. She looked to be at least 23 years old and she was about 5'6” if not a little bit taller. She had her hip stuck out and her right hand resting on it.

“Are ya not invitin me?” She asked looking directly at Roy now. Roy started to panic. It was her.

“Andy…well you see,” Roy started and stopped when he looked at his lover.

“Roy…” Edward said with warning lacing his voice.

“Ooo Roy, looks like ya little sex toy aint happy…” She said with a hint of pure trouble lacing her voice.

“Sex toy? Bitch! Roy is MY Lover! And who the hell are you anyway?” Edward growled dangerously.

“Calm down lova boy.” She said while she laughed at him. He growled and couldn't see what was so funny.

“Roy are you cheating on me with this bitch?” Edward turned on Roy. The other four burst out into laughter with his comment.

“Cheatin? Ya fool! I'm his sista!” She howled out in laughter when she received a delicious expression of shock from Edward. He looked at her a little closer and saw that she did resemble Roy. Roy calmed down from his pitch of laughter to see Edward's face contort into his `Thinking' mode. This set him into another fit of laughter until Edward whacked him on the top of the head with his fist.

“Then how is it you're alive? Roy's got to be at least six hundred years old.” She smiled at him.

“I'm immortal sweetie,” She said winking at him. Roy sighed and ran his hand down his face.

“What is it you want Andy, I'm kind of busy.” He asked her and she smiled.

“Ya know Ima Hellhound Guardian right? And ya also know that ya boyfriend IS the new Emperor,” She looked at him like he was crazy then pulled a sword from behind her back. Edward's eyes grew wide as she approached him.

“I Andrea Noevah Mustang hereby pledge my loyalty to Edward Elric The Emperor.” She said as she handed the sword to Edward while on her knees.

“Hellhound?” Edward asked. Andy looked up to him and smiled. In a flash of light she transformed into a wolf the size of a horse. It had long flowing crimson fur and emerald green eyes. What caught Edward off guard was the fact that she was breathing fire.

“I am the first in our family to inherit this trait. I can also transform into any size dog or other k9, but this is my true form.” She told him with a wolfish grin.

“Can you transform into a human anytime you want?” Edward asked and he heard her whine.

“Now that I sworn my loyalty to ya, ya the only one who can command me to transform back.” She told him and he smiled at her.

“You can transform back at will,” He said with meaning. When she transformed back into human form she hugged him fiercely.

“Ya are the kindest Emperor I have ever served…well I've only served three but you're the best!” She squealed giving Edward a death grip.

“Ok Andy, I've had enough with the accent.” Roy said as he pointed a finger at his sister.

“Oh come on Roy, I thought I would make a nice impression with The new Emperor, you had to ruin it didn't you!” She attacked her brother with her fists. He laughed at her and raised his hands in defense.

“Wait a minute, Andy is a girl, and she has to be around Edward all the time, why aren't you worried?” Jean asked him.

“Because I'm a lesbian dumb ass!” Andy turned and focused her mock anger on Jean.

“Alright calm down!” a gunshot and a shout from Riza calmed everyone. She was standing at the door. Andy turned into a wolf and jumped in front of Edward faster than they registered the sound of the gunshot. She was growling and flames were coming out of her nostrils.

“What the Hell is that!” Riza said as she pointed her gun at Andy.

“I'm a Hellhound, watch what you do around The Emperor or I'll bite your ass off!” Andy growled. Roy Jean and Edward paled.

Hawkeye sighed and holstered her gun. Andy transformed back and looked at Edward with `What' look when he glared at her.

“That is just her way of getting things under control, don't you dare try to bite her because she bites back,” Roy told Andy. Andy turned to Hawkeye and bowed in apology. Riza's eyebrow rose.

“We should be heading to your training now Lord Emperor, we have less than a month to train you,” Andy said turning towards Edward.

“Alright,” Edward said raising his hands in surrender. What more could he do?

Edward was sitting in the top of the trees waiting for his enemy to pass by. He looked to the left and to the right until a sound of a branch breaking caught his attention above his head. His head snapped up just in time to see a flash of red fur so he dodged to the right falling out of the tree. He willed his wings out and safely glided to the forest floor. When he turned around he saw a blur of red fur lunge at him so he side stepped and brought his elbow down on Andy's head.

“Owe!!” Andy wailed rubbing her abused head with her forepaws.

“I win yet again,” Edward said with a triumphant smile. Out of now where a sword came flying and struck him through the stomach.

“And now you're dead,” Came Roy's voice from above him. Edward growled and pulled the sword out.

“That fucking hurts you know!” Edward said as he threw the sword at Roy. Roy dodged it and it stuck into a tree. Edward heard a growl and he jumped in the air doing a back flip and landing behind his younger brother. He missed the second attack and was pinned to the ground by Jean. Jean's fangs were piercing the skin of his neck and he raised a hand in surrender.

“Well your fighting techniques are good, and you can will your wings out at anytime…there is one more lesson though,” Roy said as he went over to the sword and pulled it out of the tree. Edward pulled his sword out and finally got a good look at it. There were runes engraved on the blade and the handle itself had runestones on it.

“What is this?” Edward said pointing to one of the runes he didn't recognize.

“That's the Vampire Rune, that sword will only allow its power to be used by a Vampire,” Roy said as he faced Edward with his sword.

“Power?” Edward asked but he had to block Roy's sword so he didn't get an answer until his sword started glowing a deep crimson. Flames licked both blades and Roy jumped back quickly. Edward looked at his sword again. The blade was engulfed by flames and when he swung it flames shot out in a wave. One of them hit a tree and it split in half.

“It's called the Hellblade.” Andy said as she transformed into her true Hellhound form.

“It's indestructible, and it shoots flames, cool huh?” Andy said as she walked up to Edward and nuzzled his free hand.

“What are you doing?” Edward said as he looked at Andy.

“Jump on,” she said as she lowered herself where he could climb her back. He jumped on her back and smiled.

“I'm not hurting you am I?” Edward asked her and she huffed.

“No you dwoite [1], I'm fine but you are kinda heavy now that I think about it…” Andy laughed at him when he smacked her on the back of the head.

“Edward! It's time for dinner!” All of their heads turned to the mouth of the forest.

“It's mom,” Edward said as he dismounted Andy and she transformed back into human form. They all left the forest.

It's gonna be called Reunion Of The Dead. My internet got disconnected sort of. I get 160 hours a month (fucking stupid I think) and I used them all up.
