Just having some fun, and if the charactors get a bit OOC, please bare with me, since I have stated that I am a new fan to FMA and havent seen farther than episode 26, so if you havent seen up to that ep, there will be spoilers, and again apologies for my grammer and spelling mistakes, no spell check and no beta, so bare wif k?? ty ty huggles and smiles Mija. BTW again M/M pairings here yaoi so if you dont want to read such things then please stop k? you have been warned. Thank you.

 

 

Chapter 3

 

 

~~~After all the greetings and such were out of the way Mustang had finally had enough.

 

"ENOUGH!" he ordered authoritivly.

 

"I think it would be best to save the catching up and reunions till ove duty hours, now back to work." Mustang ordered as he turned to walk into his inner sanctum.

 

"FullMetal." he added, in that tone that said he expected Ed to follow him, which Ed did with a sigh as Hughes followed behind him. Once they entered the office, the door was shut behind them.

 

"So FullMetal...I take it your back to resume you duties now?" Mustang asked and yet stated it as if were not so much as a question than a statement.

 

"Ya, why else would I be back?" Ed grumbled as he sat on the long comfy couch and laced his hands behind his kneck and melted liesurly into the couch. Roy's eyebrow rose but he didnt say a word, he was used to Ed doing that, but it seemed somehow different now. Ed wasnt a kid and that relaxed pose on that lean fit body, looked way to tempting.

 

"If I am not mistaken you still had another month leave before having to return for active duty." Mustand stated as he steepled his fingers on desk as was habit for him, as he looked straight at Ed, with that same cool, emotionless mask he was so good at.

 

"Your complaining that Im back early??...thats rich, considering how pissed you used to get when ever I came in five minutes late with my report or something." Ed growled, but still looked pretty relaxed, and quite smug, Mustang thought. Cocky little bastard, he mentally added.

 

"More like five hours FullMetal." Roy said outloud, voice still cool and controlled.

 

"Ya whatever, just be happy Im back early for a change ok?" Ed replied cooly, adding an eye roll to boot. Hughes could see Mustang starting to get annoyed and when Roy and Ed started to get annoyed, things got loud then they started to explode.

 

"So hows Al, Winry and auntie Pinako doing Ed?" Hughes asked, to defuse the situation before it begun.

 

"Al's good, he wasnt happy bout me leaving and all, but he understood I guess...you know him and Winry are engaged now dont ya?" Ed responded with a huge pridefull grin upon his face as he talked about his brother. Everyone knew how much the Elrics loved each other and how much Ed loved Al. Ed was like a proud pappa annoucing his brothers engagement.

 

"Wow thats wonderfull news!" Hughes replied with a truelly happy and excited voice as his trademark smile seemed to brighten the whole room, Hughes too felt like a proud pappa, an in many ways, was. He had been the father figure to both Ed and Al for so many years back when they were still just kids.

 

"Whens the wedding? Are we invited? You think they will be having kids right away? Oh Alicia is going to have cousins!..shes going to LOVE that." Hughes went on in a dreamy sort of way and Ed couldnt help but laugh and smile fondly at him.

 

"They havent decided a date yet, yes everyones invited and how the hell should I know if they will be having kids right away and by the way...THATS MY BROTHER AND WINRY YOUR TALKING ABOUT, I DONT WANT TO THINK ABOUT THEM DOING..THAT!." Ed answered, his voice having raised at the end. Just the thought of his brother naked with Winry doing THAT made him feel ill, you didnt think about family in those sort of ways, it was GROSS.

 

~~~Roy cleared his throat to get both Ed's and Hughe's attention back to the matter at hand, but for the life of him Roy wasnt all to sure what the matter at hand should be. He hadnt expected FullMetal to return a whole month early and therefore had no assignments for him to do. Right now things were good in the country, things were peacefull for a change and not much call for State Alchemists of late. So what to do with Ed?

 

"Tell Alphonse and Miss Rockbell congradulatons on behalf of me and my staff as well and to thank them for thinking of including us in the actual event." Roy stated almost mechanicly and Ed rolled his eyes. Same damn Colonel, doesnt the man ever FEEL anything?

 

"Why dontcha tell em your self Col...I mean Brigadeir General? Its not like you dont KNOW them and shit...hell youve know them for over six years now and shit..it wouldnt kill you to call Al up and say Hi ya know..he'd like that...he'd like to know he wasnt forgotten by all of ya now that he's got his real body back and all, but Im telling ya you better call him yourself and not have Hawkeye or one of your other flunkies do it for ya cause if you do I will personally make sure you regret it...I dont want Al hurt for anything and it would hurt him to get a second hand call from you through one of your staff." Ed replied, with a glare and some very real lethal like heated glares.

 

"First of all FullMetal I would never think to hurt Al in any way shape or form, I happen to think highly of him and Miss Rockbell, and am quite fond of Alphonse, Second of all your like how old now? 18? I would think that being an adult now would have curbed some of your more...ruder habits, such as using a curse word every other word, and speaking to your commanding officer in such unmilitary like ways." Roy responded with a half smirk and penetrating eyes, that told Ed, that it wouldnt take much more for him to snap, and fry his cute little ass into a charcoal brigguette.

 

"When have I EVER been a military sort of guy to begin with? This is how I am, always have been and probably always will be..you didnt have a problem with it before...why now?" Ed challenged.

 

"Because back then your actions could be dissmissed as that of an ill tempered child....are you saying that you still consider yourself a child FullMetal?" Roy asked in his own challenging tone. Ed's eyes changed from a light golden color to that of a darker honey like shade as his eyes narrowed and he grinned ferally at the ex Colonal, he thought of cussing the man out and telling him to shove it where the sun dont shine, like they alway had in the past, it was normal, routine sort of for Roy to goad him and for him to blow his top. But all decided that he would tip the tables on the old man.

 

~~~Ed glared at Roy as he stood up and gritted his teeth tightly, his jaw working back and forth in anger, or so it seemed. Hughes and Roy were both prepared to defend themselves or duck for cover, which ever was convienient for what ever FullMetal threw at them, but what actually happened was what they had not expected, and it left them totally speechless.

 

~~~All of a sudden the angery look and the gritting teeth vanished and was replaced by sultry looking eyes, a cocky sort of grin, and a fluid walk that had both men watching in stunned silence as Ed walked up to Roy's desk and leaned over it to come almost nose to nose with the ex Colonel.

 

"Do I LOOK like a child to you Flame?...we could always test that theory out in a more...private setting if you want?...I can garuntee you that I am far from a child in...alot... of ways...let me know if you decide to take me up on that ok? till then I think I'll continue my last month of leave here in Central..so I will report to you officially in 30 days...till then Im still off duty but if you need me for something....look me up at Miss Dahlia's Inn..room 4...till then...cath ya around Flame...Hughes." Ed stated in a sultry voice, all husky and alluring, it even made Hughes sweetdrop and Hughes was one hundred percent faithfull to his only love Gracia, but who the hell could of with stood that look? That voice? That body? all combined in one alluring package that was intentionally trying to seduce? Damn, Hughes almost felt sorry for poor Mustang as he looked at his friend watching Ed walk out of the office, as Ed intentionally put a bit more of a swagger to his hip to make his ass Roys one and only target. Again Hughes was almost sorry for his friend but then again he wasnt that sorry, it was time Roy got a little payback for his playboy ways, it looked like there was a new playboy in town and that playboy had Roy drooling for him, internally that is. Outside, Hughes noticed that Roy just looked a bit shell schocked but still calm, but to Hughes trained eye...Roy was almost salivating after Ed's long gone figure, and ass. If Hughes hadnt been there, he was sure Roy might of just jumped Ed then and there. Hehe, this is going to be fun to watch Hughes thought yet again.

 

 

 

 

A/N~yes short chap but hey this is all still new to me and for those who might of read my other fics on the Inuyasha site or on MediaMiner, then you know that things have not gone well for me these past few months, alot of deaths in the family and sometimes my mind is just not on writing, but I had started this fic back a bit, and wasnt going to post it because I was scheduled to loose my internet access on June 1st but hurray for me I managed to find a way to get a cheaper server and keep it on for now...sniffles...still loosing my cable though..will miss my Inuyasha and FullMetal episodes...sniffles...anyhow to those who might wonder about my other fics, will get to them I promise, just as soon as I can get back to that train of thought. Right now other than this fic, I really am not in any sort of writing mood, anyhow any help on corrections of names and such are welcomed and most appreciated, btw anyone know if Brig Gen is higher ranking than General or vice versa? Cause I meant to make Roy higher ranking than Hughes. Till laters be safe well and happy much huggles and smiles Mija...:-)
