Fullmetal Alchemist Fan Fiction ❯ Lonely ❯ Angelic Chairity ( Chapter 14 )
[ Y - Young Adult: Not suitable for readers under 16 ]
This is my second FMA fic. There are a few warnings: Winry bashing, Al OOC, Ed OOC, and this will be an Ed/Roy pairing. This fic switches POV back and forth between Ed and Roy. Some chapters with have both POVs, some only one. I don't own FMA but this original story is mine.
There is also a color key.
Black: Author's notes and other people speaking.
Black with * means random noises.
Blue: Roy (Both thoughts and speaking in and out of POV mode)
Red: Ed (Both thoughts and speaking in and out of POV mode)
Now without further ado, here's the story. Enjoy!
Lonely
“You bet,” Ed smiles, “Where are we going?”
“We're heading of a play,” I grin, “`A Christmas Carol' by Charles Dickens.”
“That sounds like fun,” he says.
“Armstrong, Hawkeye, you two are welcome to come along,” I offered.
“Thank you, Sir!” They said and we all grabbed our coats and got into the car.
This is fun! Roy and I get to go to a play! Hawkeye and Lt. Colonel Armstrong are nice, too. I watch the houses that are all lit up and decorated with holly and wreaths as we drive past.
“It's all so pretty,” I breathe as I look out of the window.
I felt Roy wrap his arm around my shoulders and say, “Not as pretty as you,” in my ear.
I blush as my eyes and heart both flutter. I lean into him on the rest of the way there.
“We're here!” Chirps Hawkeye.
We arrived at the theater and parked the car. It's the same palace it was a few days ago. We all got out of the car and walked towards the theater when I noticed a beggar man outside of the theater doors.
“I'll be right back,” I said.
I walk over to the man and gave him some money.
“Here you go, Sir.” I said as I gave him the money.
“Thank you, young man!” he said, gratefully.
My sweet Fullmetal Angel, you're always thinking of others and not yourself. I walk over to them and give the man a bit of money, too.
“Thank you, Sir,” says the beggar. I lead Ed back to the theater.
“That was kind of you,” I said with my arm around him.
“He looked lonely,” Ed said, sadly, “He looked the way I felt before you saved me.”
I was surprised at his words. That beggar was the personification of Ed's former pain?
“Let's go see the play,” I said as we head up to the same box we went to the last time we were here, Box ten.
“Okay,” he happily chirped as all four of us settled in.
TBC! I'll try to get more chappies out ASAP! Thanks to all my reviewers! Ja ne!
