Fullmetal Alchemist Fan Fiction ❯ Lonely ❯ Ed--Abducted! ( Chapter 17 )
[ Y - Young Adult: Not suitable for readers under 16 ]
This is my second FMA fic. There are a few warnings: Winry bashing, Al OOC, Ed OOC, and this will be an Ed/Roy pairing. This fic switches POV back and forth between Ed and Roy. Some chapters with have both POVs, some only one. I don't own FMA but this original story is mine.
There is also a color key.
Black: Author's notes and other people speaking.
Black with * means random noises.
Blue: Roy (Both thoughts and speaking in and out of POV mode)
Red: Ed (Both thoughts and speaking in and out of POV mode)
Green: Ed's captor (Speaking only, has no thoughts in the fic. Character WILL be in this color till revealed!)
Now without further ado, here's the story. Enjoy!
Lonely
I woke up this morning, showered, got dressed in my usual outfit and tucked in Sunbeam. I decided to get my Christmas presents for Roy and Al. I pulled on my red coat and walked out the door. I looked around and saw families and friends walking around. Lovers sharing a happy day in the snow, I'm walking around alone, looking for the perfect presents when I saw some kids laughing while throwing snowballs.
I suddenly start to feel sad, then I realize why. I wish I could be spending time with Roy but, he's busy. I sigh as I look in the first shop window and see the perfect gift for Roy. I was looking in a jeweler's shop and saw a simple, silver man's ring engraved with the words, `I love you.'
“It's perfect,” I breathed, “I'll get that for Roy, just in time for Christmas!”
I spun happily and walked inside when I saw a blonde woman browsing in the store. She was thin and tall. She wore a brown overcoat with black slacks, grey boots, a black wool hat, and a black scarf that covered the bottom half of her face.
“Excuse me,” I asked the shopkeeper, “May I see the silver, man's ring in the window?”
“Certainly, Sir,” he said as he went to get it.
He came back and said, “Here you are.”
“It's perfect,” I sighed with a smile, “I'll take it!”
I was about to pay for the ring when I smelled a strange chemical in the air. I looked over and the woman charged at me!
“Miss!” yelled the shopkeeper, “What do you think you're doing?!”
She slammed the chemical-soaked rag in my face and held on to me, almost knocking the wind out of me! I struggle to break free but, I'm starting to feel sleepy.
“Help me, Roy…” I whisper before I slip into oblivion.
The phone rang and I picked it up.
“Hello,” I said into the receiver, “Who is this?”
“I have Edward,” rasped a voice, “He will pay for his crimes.”
“Who are you?!” I yelled, “Where is Edward?!”
“Don't be concerned, Further,” rasped the voice, “He's nothing to this world.”
“HE'S EVERYTHING TO ME!” I screamed into the phone, “WHERE ARE YOU? WHERE IS HE?!”
“He'll die crying and screaming,” rasped the voice before hanging up.
“HELLO? HELLO! NO!” I panicked, “EDWARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
TBC! Ed's gone! Please R&R! Happy Holidays!
