Yuki's expression changed. It went from devastation to fury. She looked at Edward.

 

“I'm sorry. I guess it truly never meant to be.” Edward looked away.

 

“No, we will be together. Edward Elric, the Full Metal Alchemist, I…” Yuki realized admitting love wasn't as easy as it had been that one night. “I…love…you. And…and I want you to be my boyfriend and be with me forever.”

 

Edward was just taken away! Yuki had just asked him to be her boyfriend! Edward tried to say something, but he couldn't. His voice left him. The door slammed open and Scar stood there. He grabbed Yuki and dragged her out of the room. Edward tried to stand up, but his leg was too stiff.

 

“You'll never see him again! I'm welding your door shut and you'll never leave my house again!” Scar shouted and Yuki screamed and kicked and bit her uncle.

Scar had already welded Yuki's door shut and Yuki was pounding and screaming and breaking everything. She was blinded with fury. Her hands and feet became sore and her face and throat hurt from all the crying and screaming she did. Yuki had fallen on her bed. Which was the only thing left on touched.

 

“Why did this happen to me?” Yuki asked herself. “What did I do to deserve this?” Yuki looked at her door. She hung a picture of her Uncle and her together on it.

 

Yuki ripped it down and tore it apart. A paper fell out. It was another picture…A picture of Scar with some other people. They didn't look familiar at first. But names helped: Scar, Lust, Envy and Gluttoney. Yuki couldn't breathe. She remembered reading a news paper on the train about them…

It had been a long day for Yuki and Ryuu. Ryuu was staring out of the window thinking about what she'd do once she got to her uncle's house. Yuki was kicking her feet around under the table when she felt something move. Yuki picked it up and read it out loud.

 

“Three criminals break out of jail. The criminals were known as Lust, Envy and Gluttoney. If seen, please call 1-800-555-CRIME.” Yuki read. She saw a picture of three individuals. One had raven black hair, like hers. The other two were behind her. It was harder to make out their look. Another thing Yuki noticed was a name under the picture description. It said “Homunculi”.

Yuki just looked at the picture of her uncle with those three. She felt betrayed by him. She felt devastated, defeated, and furious and most of all: confused. What was Scar doing with the Homunculi? Why was he with the Homunculi? Yuki had to tell Edward… but how would she get to him? She was stuck in her room for the rest of the trip. She received food from a crate outside of the window. The crate!

 

Yuki ran toward the window and looked at it. She could lower herself down to the ground by using the crate. Yuki climbed on it being very careful. The crate rocked ever time she moved on it.

 

“Alright,” Yuki said, placing her hands on the rope. “If I lower myself slowly with this, I won't get hurt.” Yuki started to lower it, about halfway there, something broke and Yuki fell down into some bushes. The crate fell down toward her and she rolled off of the bushes into the foot wide space between them and the actual house.

 

Because of the crash and scream, Scar had run out of the house.

 

“Damn crate. It's so weak.” Scar said, picking up the pieces.

 

Yuki waited until nightfall when she got out and ran all the way to the hospital, not stopping once.
