When Yuki got to the hospital, her face was red with fury. How could that cruel man be her uncle? Yuki went up to the doors and opened it. In the dark night sky, the brightly lit hotel hurt her eyes, and took her a while to adjust.

 

She walked up to the hospital desk. “Excuse me?” She asked.

 

The lady behind the counter turned around. “May I help you?”

 

“Yes. I'd like to visit a friend of mine.” Yuki said.

 

“I'm sorry, all visiting hours are over.” The lady turned back around. Yuki nodded and turned. At this point, she was going to walk back into town a bit, but she turned and ran toward the elevator. She got on it and rode it up to Edward floor. She walked up to the door and opened it.

 

Edward had been sleeping. His leg was still propped up, but turned now. Yuki went up to Edward and admired his sleeping face. His hair was still in a braid, and she could see his eyes dart back and forth from under his eyelids.

 

“Sweet dreams.” She said. She moved a piece of hair from his face and smiled. Her smile faded when she heard a small whimper come from him. Then she realized, he was having a nightmare.

Edwards

Dream

 

Edward was running around screaming “Al! Al! Come back Al! Please!”

 

Edward ran up to a tree and looked at it. Behind the tree laid Al's dead body. But it was on a dead body too: Edwards. He looked at his body in shock. A shadow cast upon him. He turned around to see Scar and Yuki standing there; each one smiling devilishly.

 

“Yuki…” Edward said. He reached out to touch her shoulder, but she jerked away.

 

“Don't touch me. You don't deserve me. No Alchemist does!” Yuki snapped.

 

Edward was so confused. “But…”

 

“But nothing,” Yuki cried. “Saving your life was the worst mistake I've ever made.”

 

Edward's eyes burned with tears. Why was Yuki doing this to him?

 

Yuki leaned next to him. “Besides ever loving you,” Then Yuki and Scar killed Edward; all he could hear was his name. Over and over, like an echo.

 

Yuki had been shaking him, saying his name. He jumped up, his face paler than a piece of paper.

 

“Yuki…” He said.

 

“It's alright.” Yuki smiled. Edward hugged her.

 

“I had the most awful dream. You were-

 

Yuki cut him off. “If you tell a dream before you eat something, it'll come true.” She said.

Next Morning

 

Yuki had spent the night with Edward. Yuki and Edward had been talking, and Yuki just fell asleep next to him. When Yuki woke up the next morning, she had her hand on Edward's chest and the other under her head. Edwards hand was resting on her back.

 

Yuki sat up. Edward was a heavy sleeper. He also snored a bit. Yuki was out of it until she realized what had happened.

 

“Whoa, I spent the night at a hospital, AND slept with Edward.” Yuki thought. There was a knock on the door, and Yuki panicked. She fell off the bed and ran behind the curtain on the other side of the room.

 

“Mr. Elric? It's time for breakfast.” The nurse said, giving him a tray. Edward just nodded. Once Yuki heard the door close she came out and looked at “breakfast”.

 

“Breakfast” was made of, pancakes and a glass of milk…whoop-de-stinking-do.

 

“Looks filling,” Yuki said. They both cracked up laughing. After they finished the food, they told each other about themselves…some more.

 

“So she really stranded you on an island? Telling you to use Alchemy to survive when you didn't even know how to use it?” Yuki asked, surprised.

 

“Not as bad as being stuck in your room because your uncle locked you in.” Edward said.

 

“Nothing can top him.” Yuki remembered she had put the picture into her pocket before she left. She pulled it out. “I found this…”

 

“Envy, Lust...Gluttoney…The Homunculi…” Edward locked at it in shock. His shock became anger, then fury, then rage. “That bastard is going out of his way to kill me…”

 

“We've got to go somewhere other than here. He will know I'm here when he realizes I escaped.” Yuki said.

 

“We can go to my house.” Edward suggested.

 

“But…you can't leave the hospital…” Yuki said.

 

“They say I can't. I say I can.” Edward pressed against the window; Yuki noticed he was wearing a metal ring. The ground rose below the window and Edward climbed out. Yuki did the same. The ground lowered and they ran (the best they could) toward his home. Once they got there, they ran past everyone and into Edward's room.

 

“This could get dangerous.” Yuki said.

 

“I don't care.” Edward shrugged. It sounded heartless, be he didn't mean it to be.

 

“Someone could get killed.” Yuki urged.

 

“Might be Scar,” Edward said back.

 

“We might never see each other again!” Yuki cried. She was trying to get Edward to take her somewhere far away, somewhere away from there, somewhere they could forget about what happened.

 

“Then let's spend as much time together as possible!” Edward argued, placing his hand on her shoulder.

 

Yuki turned her head away. She was blushing, and her eyes burned with tears, as one fell down her cheek. Edward turned her head back to his.

 

“It may be hard, but not impossible. If we work together, we can get rid of him, and be together, forever.” Edward said. Yuki smiled. She knew how Edward felt about her, and she knew how she felt about him. She knew it ever since she was eleven.

Ryuu and Yuki were running around the train station waiting for their train to come to the stop. Yuki had short, black hair with yellow bangs. She wore a red dress and blue shoes. Ryuu also had black hair and yellow bangs, but her hair was longer and in a braid. She wore a blue shirt with a black skirt and white shoes. Yuki bumped into an eleven year old boy with blond hair back in a braid. He wore a red coat with white gloves. He was a bit short for his age, too.

 

“Sorry mister.” Yuki said.

 

“Yeah…just watch out next time.” The boy said. Yuki looked at him, and fell into a daze. She noticed the suit of metal behind him and gasped.

 

“Hello little girl,” the person in the suit said.

 

“Hi….” Yuki sputtered.

 

“I'm Alphonse; this is Edward, my older brother.” Al said, placing his hand on Edward's head.

 

Yuki stared, shocked at them. “I'm….I…”

 

“Yuki, come on! The train arrived!” Ryuu yelled, pulling her away.

Yuki came out of her flashback to see Edward was gone. She looked around until she saw him come out of the bathroom. Yuki blushed.

 

“Yuki, we need to spend time together before the battle, just incase we do get separated.” Edward said.

 

“I know…” Yuki said. Edward put a hand on her shoulder, sliding his hand off, her sleeve came with it. Yuki's stomach churned and she leaned back slightly, pulling her shoulder sleeve back over her shoulder.

 

“I'm sorry.” Edward said, looking away. “I was just thinking about the other night. What you said…and well…”

 

“Well…I guess…I know…I wanted…I don't know!” Yuki said. “I know I want to be with you.”

 

“And you will be.” Edward said, bringing her head closer to his own. He kissed her, and Yuki did the same.
