It was two in the afternoon and the coal mines were alive with its workers. A lone tan shadow moved into town with a cloak covering its face. It was wearing a tube top and short shorts. Closer inspection proved that the figure was indeed female and she walked up to a man in his early twenties. He had short brown hair and hazel grey eyes.

“Hello stranger, how can I help you?” The young man asked her. She was wearing goggles and it looked like she just came from the desert.

“Would you happen to know where I can find a room and a bite to eat?” The woman asked him. He smiled and put down the hammer in his hand and dusted off his hands. He retch out his hand to shake hers and she shook it.

“My name is Kyle and my father owns the local inn,” He told her.

“My name is Jay,” She offered him.

“Dad! We got a visitor lookin for a place to stay!” A man with short brown hair and similar hazel grey eyes looked down off of a roof he was working on and smiled.

“I'll be down in a minute.” He shouted back.

“My name is Jim Halling, so it looks like you've been through a sandstorm, where ya from?” The older man asked her as they sat in the dinning room of the Inn.

“Well I came from Xing but I am from a small town close to here.” She answered him and took a drink of the beer he had given her.

“You crossed the desert all by yourself and barefoot no less!” The man laughed.

“Sand gets in your shoes thus making it harder to walk, well how much will it cost for one night's stay and a meal or two?” She asked him. He smiled at her but then frowned. She still hadn't taken off the goggles and the cloak was still covering her hair.

“Two thousand Cin,” He told her. She took her backpack off and looked through it. When she was finished she pulled out a bar of gold. She clapped her hands together and blue light shown from the gold braking off just enough to cover the stay and meal and put the rest in her backpack.

“So you're an Alchemist?” He smiled at her.

“Yes, I've trained in the Alchemy around here and a lot of the Alchemy in Xing, I'm a healer mostly though.” She told him.

“The last time we had an Alchemist stop by he saved our town, kinda short with long blond hair and golden eyes.” He told her. She laughed and sat the gold in front of Jim.

“Did you catch his name?” She asked him. She thought the profile sounded familiar but she wasn't sure. She thought the one she was thinking about was dead.

“Yeah, said his name was Edward…” He started to say but she cut him off.

“Elric?” She smiled. So he was alive after all.

“Yeah, how'd ya know?” He asked her. She stood off the stool she was sitting on and turned to Halling.

“Oh, we've met can I take a shower and have a bit to eat? Surviving on dried meat and water too long is bad for one's health.” She told him. He nodded her head and showed her to her room. After he left she stripped down her clothes and got into the shower.

Jim and his wife were talking when she came back down to eat. They were stunned. She had long blond hair and golden eyes. Her hair was in a pony tail and she wore a black tank top and black leather pants. Over her arm was a black coat. She sat down in one of the chairs and Jim walked up to her.

“I'm sorry I didn't catch your name,” He told her. She looked up and smiled at him.

“My name is Dr. Trisha Elric Jr. but everyone calls me Jay.” She told him and he smiled.

“So you're Edward's sister then?” He asked.

“Twin sister actually, he's the older though by a few minutes.” She laughed. Halling's wife placed a plate and a cup of coffee in front of her and she began to eat.

“I haven't seen him since we were eleven, I wonder how he is doing,” She told him frowning at the memory.

“You've been in Xing that long?” Jim asked her.

“Yeah, after our mother died we were alone, so we went to find a teacher, and then I ran off to Xing.” She was still frowning.

“I didn't know, sorry.” Jim said as sat down in front of her.

“Last I heard, he was a State Alchemist, you should try to find him in Central,” He told her. She smiled.

“That Shrimp, and what of Alphonse?”

“He's not a state alchemist but he was travelin with Edward in a suit of armor.” He looked up at Jim in surprise. Had Edward done what she thought he did? Alphonse's body was gone so that left only one other option. Edward had transfixed Al's soul to a suit of armor. Damn him! Damn them both for being alive! No she had only herself to blame.

“When does the next train for Central leave?” Jay asked him relatively calm considering the chaotic storm that brewed inside her.

“Nine in the mornin, you should get some sleep, travelin on a train is hard on anybody.” He told her as he picked up her empty plate and cup.

“Thank you for your hospitality,” She said as she retreated back up the stairs.

“I'm going to fucking kill him. He is so going to pay! Damn it I can't blame him, it was my fault, I shouldn't have left,” She was in a mix of anger and sorrow when she slipped off to sleep.

The train to central was going to be a long trip, so she decided to stop off at Resembool to pay her respects and to visit with old friends. When the train finally stopped she was at her destination a small town she still called home. She walked off the platform and down a dirt road till she came to a small house on a hill. There was a sign of the front porch that read `Rockbell Automail'. Just as she got to the gate a loud bark turned her attention to a black dog on the porch.

“Hello Den, are the ladies of the house at home?” She asked as she walked through the gate. Just as she closed the gate she dodged a wrench that came flying in her direction.

“Edward! How many times…Trisha?” She said as she came out onto the porch.

“Winery,” She nodded at her best friend. Winery rushed to her and gave her a bear hug.

“Where have you been all these years, everyone thought you were dead!” She exclaimed through tears.

“I was in Xing studying Human Alchemy,” She told her. Winery back off and looked at her in horror.

“Human Alchemy is a forbidden practice, why would you study it?” Winery asked her. Jay smiled at her.
“Not this kind of Alchemy, I have been able to successfully restore human limbs and nerves.” Jay told her. Winery's expression changed from confused to shock in three seconds and Jay laughed.

“Well if it isn't the prodigal daughter,” Jay turned her head to see a short old woman smoking a pipe.

“Aunt Pinoko, a pleasure to see you again.” Jay told her. The old woman smiled at her.

“How long are you staying for?” Winery asked her.

“Just for tonight, I have to go find that idiotic brother of mine and punch him a good one,” Jay told her as her face went serious.

“That would be Edward, and you wouldn't have to go too far for the other brother, he's upstairs reading,” Winery told her. Jay rushed into the house and up the stairs. What she thought she would find she didn't. A twenty one year old Alphonse Elric looked up from his book and was shocked when he saw who it was. He jumped up off the floor and tightly hugged his sister.

“I'm sorry for running off like that Alu [1], I was just afraid that I lost both of you,” He had started crying and didn't say anything. Then he stopped all the sudden and punched her hard on the shoulder.

“Where have you been all this time, we thought you were dead!” Al shouted at her. She guessed she deserved that.

“Alu I'm sorry, I've been in Xing studying Human Alchemy,” Alphonse glared down to her (because he was a good four inches taller than she was and she was 5'5”).

“Why would you be doing that, you know what happened last time,” Al told her with an angry voice.

“No this is a different Alchemy than what we had tried; I have been able to reattach mission limbs and nerves!” Jay told him, when she did his eyes lit up and he smiled down to his older sister.

“We have to tell Brother!” Alphonse said as he rushed downstairs with Jay in tow. He picked up the phone and called Central Headquarters but Jay laid her hand on the cradle cutting him off.

“Why did you do that?” Alphonse asked surprised.

“I want to talk to him in person, he dose not know that I have returned from Xing, I need to give him something anyway.” The look on her face told Alphonse that she was going to give him a sound beating.

“Don't do what you plan on doing, Brother has Automail and he would probably hurt you,” Alphonse told her. She looked up at him a determined look in her eyes.

“Well then you might want to come to, not only have I learnt Xingian Alchemy but fighting styles as well, he would be the one getting hurt if it was going to be a real fight that is.” Jay told him. Al's expression didn't change. Then he finally gave up and smiled at his sister.

“What do you have in mind Sister?” Alphonse asked. Jay grinned wickedly and told him `The Plan'.

A few days later Edward Elric the Fullmetal Alchemist was sitting in on a meeting with General Mustang and Colonel Hawkeye when he heard loud voices approaching the conference room. One was easily recognizable as he little brother and the second was of Colonel Havoc but the third sounded foreign on his ears. When the door burst open he saw an exact (except an inch shorter) copy of himself. When realization kicked in it kicked him in the face. Hard.

“What is the meaning of this?” General Mustang shouted. He looked over at the Ed copy and grinned evilly. She had him in a choke hold which was revealing some of her cleavage through her tank top.

C cup I'm guessing, well a female version of Ed, quite sexy I might say. He thought to himself.

“Why the HELL did you join the FUCKING military you SHRIMP!” She shouted at him. All the while Riza was trying to hold back a laugh.

“ME WHAT THE FUCK ABOUT YOU? WHERE THE HELL DID YOU RUN OFF TO YOU FUCKING BEAN!” She let him go and grinned at him.

“Where have I been? Let me tell you, I've been in Xing for the past 12 years studying Human Alchemy.” She told him and his eyes went wide.

“God Jay are you insane?” he got up and growled down (he was up on his toes) at his sister.

“I just thought…” She started to say when Edward cut her off.

“Don't give me that bullshit! I don't care, we agreed that that was the wrong coarse of action, well Al and I did because you were gone!” He shouted at her.

“Edward listen to me, I researched a way to restore human limbs and nerves, not to try to bring someone back from the dead!”

“What?” Edward was shocked.

“I'm sorry Brother, I wanted to call and tell you but she wouldn't let me,” Alphonse told him.

“Traitor!” Jay shouted then started laughing.

“I have been successful in stunning my brother!” She said rolling around on the floor laughing.

“Great,” He said as he glared General Mustang who was trying so hard not to laugh.

“Ok, enough is enough, who is this attractive young lady and how do you know her?” Roy asked them. Jay glared at him for his comment then blushed.

“My name is Dr. Trisha Elric Jr.,” She told Roy.

“When can you get to work on my arm and leg?” Edward asked her.

“Well I'll need a donor, so I'll have to check in with the hospital and get assigned there. Then I'll have to find out what your blood type is and if I can what the blood type of the donor is.” She told him.

“So about a month or so,” She grinned at him. It was turning out to be a great day. Both of her brothers were alive and well and she would get to show off her skill soon.

“Have you thought about joining the military?” Roy asked her.

“Well yeah, but not recently, why can you get me in?” She asked him.

“The State Exams are in few months, I would love to help you get in,” Mustang told her.

“But I have to find training and I don't know of any Alchemist that specializes in Human Alchemy,” She told him.

“I'm an Alchemist therefore I have books on Alchemy you can stay at my place while you study for the exams.” Roy told her. Edward growled and Jay raised a hand to tell him it was alright. She accepted his offer with a bow and she and Alphonse left the conference room.
