The skies were sunny and clear till dark clouds set in over the little city near Rizenpool. It began to pour rain and the sky light up with lightning and a loud rumble of thunder was heard. Though on this night two girls lives would change forever but they didn't know that was going to happen...on this very night. Not to long ago their parents died. both their mother who was a state alchemist died of a dibilititating disease a neuroligical disease that effects and breaks down her musles deteriate to the point she can't walk and died. Their father was a weapon weliding alchemist who was mysteriously murdered and they were going try and bring them back using the forbidden alchemy of human transmutation sort of the same thing Edward and Al went through.

A young girl named Miaka about the age of 9 drew something on the floor with a piece of white chalk some kind of alchemic circle. She looked over to her sister who was a bit younger then she was about 8 years old named Miyako. "You ready sis?" Miyako looked at her with a worried look in her eyes as she shook her head. "This isn't a good idea sis! Remember what mommy and daddy told us about using human transmutation!? It's completely forbidden and besides it's very dangerous we could get injured or worse we can be killed! I don't want that to happen to us!"

Miaka sighed as she stood up and went over to her sister placing a hand on her shoulder looking into her eyes. "Don't you want mom and dad back sis?" she asked. Miyako nodded. "I do but there must be some other way to do this!!" Miaka shook her head "The only way is human transmutation little sister we have to do this.....to bring them back to us" Miyko shook her head "We can't!!!" she shouted. Miaka glared at her "I know it's risky but the only way we can see mom and dad again." she held out her hand to her sister. "Come on I will be here with you nothing bad will happen all the things we need are right and equal" Miyako looked at her sister before taking her hand. Miaka smiled.

Miyako kneeled down by her sister then down to the large transmutation circle on the floor. Miaka brought something in a small bowl into the middle of the circle then she went to her sister kneeling beside her. "Ready?" Miyako nodded. Miaka and Miyako put their hands on the outer part of the transmutation circle where it started to glow a bright yellowish color. "Let’s hope this works" Miaka thought in her mind. Miyako concentrated with all she had into the transmutation circle. Suddenly there was a rumble and the light around the transmutation circle turned purple and blue Miaka looked around worriedly when suddenly.....BOOM there was a large explosion from all the pressure built up. Miyako and Miaka screamed before the house was nearly destroyed. From near by in a house a two boys came out from their home seeing the whole explosion that happened. The younger of the 2 boys pointed out. "Brother look over there!" The older brother looked over at what was a big pile of rubble from the broken down house his eyes widened with fear.


After about 10 minutes Miaka regained consciousness she sat up the air hazy with smoke but when she tried to move she felt something was wrong. When she looked her eyes widened there was a sea of blood around her and her left arm and right leg were completely gone. She began to cry. "Damn it this wasn't supposed to happen!!! What could of been wrong that it messed up completly?!" She held what was left of her arm trying to stop the blood but it just flowed down her hand and arm. Her tears mixed with her blood as they fell freely from her cheek. She looked around through the thick fog of the smoke hopping to find her sister Miyko. When she finally spotted her she was unconscious in the corner of what was left of the house.

"M-Miyako..." she called out to her unconsious form. She crawled over to her sis and gently lifted her up in her one arm and held her as tight as she could. "Miyako Miyako please wake up open your eyes please Miyako don't leave me you're the only family I have left please Miyako wake up." Miaka began to cry as her tears fell onto her sister's cheek. Miyako groaned lightly. Miaka opened her eyes to look at her little sister. "Miyako your awake!!" Miyko still being out of it didn't know what was going on kept her eyes closed. "W-Who's there?" she asked feeling herself being held. Miaka titled her head a bit. "It's me Miaka." She groaned again as she had her hands over her eyes but then she removed her hands and placed on her sister but they remain shut.


Miyako still with her eyes closed used her hands to feel around her sisters body when she got to where her arm was to be she felt nothing she pressed her hands against it feeling nothing but Miaka's blood flowing down her hand she began to tremble. "M-Miaka....y-your arm it's....it's..." "Gone I know....and so is my right leg." Miyako shook even more. "No....but Miaka how could this have happened......what went wrong?" "I don't know sis....I thought it would work for sure" Miyako rubbed her eyes and winced. "My eyes hurt" "Let me see them" Miaka said. Miyako just kept her hands over her eyes. "Please sis show me." Miyko slowly removed her hand off of her eyes before opening to reveal them.......completly......white!!! Miaka's eyes widened as teared now freely fell. "Y-Your....b-blind?!" she studdered through her cried. Miyako gave a slight nod. She suddenly collapesed in Miaka's arm her head was bleeding badly which caused her to have memory loss.

Miaka sobbed harshly on her sister she felt she was the one responcable for what has happend. "I'm so sorry Miyako.....it's all my fault.......it's my fault your blind and your memory is gone!" she broke down in uncontrollable sobs. She held her sister as close as she could with the only one arm she had left. Miyako hugged her sister tightly as her other hand gently lifted to be placed on her cheek and whiped her tears away. "Shhh it's alright Miaka....I know it wasn't your fault. Please don't feel bad." Miaka looked at her. "But you'll never be able to see again!!!" she shouted through her cries frustrated and upset. Miyako just held her sister who was still crying and whispered "Don't worry sis we'll get through this I promise we will find away to get back what we lost." Miaka smiled a bit.
