After awhile Miyako had nearly drifted off to sleep but not completly. Another boy a bit younger then the automailest working on Miaka came walking down the hallway he stopped when he saw Miyako. "Hello" he said in his handsome young voice. Yet Miyako couldn't hear him for one she was nearly asleep and two the earmuffs were still on her ears. The young man giggled slightly and lifted the earmuffs of Miyako's ears. She looked around "Who's there?" she called sleepily. "I'm right here" She still had her eyes closed. Miyako rubbed her eyes then streched a yawn escaping from her mouth. She smiled but yet eyes weren't open. The young man tilled his head at her. "Why don't you open your eyes?" Miyako kinda shuttered a bit at his question and she already knew the answer to that question. "I-I can't..." she spoke in a bit of a scared voice. He kneeled down beside her. "Why not?" he asked. Miyako sighed before slowly opening her clear white eyes and looking up at him. He looked back at her a bit shocked to see that she was blind. "How did this happen?" he asked her. Miyako tilted her head no remembering very well. "I don't really remember much" "Tell me what you do remember" Miyako then told him what she remembered about her family and how her sister and herself tried to bring their parents back using the forbiddin alchemy of human transmutation and about the explosion. He noded understanding. "Ah I see now you tried human transmuation....that sure helps now I see how you and your sister got into this mess but your lucky you both servived it. My brother and I saw it that night." Miyako just sighed. He smiled "But I think I can help you. I'm an eye doctor anyways and I might be able to make you some special contacts." Miyako smiled. "That would be wonderful!" He gently lifted Miyako up into his arms and carried her into his room to start working on contacts for her.
After many hours of effort and hard work the automailest finally finished his work. Miaka layed sound asleep after having to go through all the tourcher and pain. Miyako walked into the room along with the automailest's younger brother and went over to her sister's side waiting for her to awaken. The two brothers smiled at each other. "Lets leave them be" the eldest one said. His brother nodded and they both walked out of the room to leave the two sisters to themselves. Hours and hours went by yet Miaka still didn't awaken. Patiently waiting she just watched over sister looking at her new arm and leg but it didn't look like automail it looked like her real arm and leg. But really what happened was Miaka had them covered in fake skin so no one would notice she had automail. Miyako had grown weary and tired not long after she had her head rested next to her sister and fell sound asleep. Snoring away and mumbling about food in her sleep. After a bit all that mumbling had woken Miaka up she grumbled annoyedly a large aggitated mark on her head. "Miyako..." she growled. "...Pancakes...." Miyako muttered in her sleep a bit of drool rolled down the side of her mouth. "....Miyako....?" Miaka growled louder her aggitated mark growing bigger. "Baccon.....sausage....eggs....french toast...." Miaka couldn't take it anymore before wacking Miyako on the head that sure woke her up. "Ow what was that for!?!?" she said rubbing her head. "You were mumbling food in your sleep and making me hungry!" she whined holding her stomach. Miyako just laughed before rubbing her eyes predtending they still hurted. "Let me see your eyes again Miyako" Miyako giggled before opening her eye they were the color of pure blue she could see again! "WHOA!! Miyako! You can see again!?" She noded. "Yeah apperently your automailest had a brother who was an eye doctor and he made me some special contacts so I could see again." They both hugged each other in a deep sisterly embrace. Tears of happiness ran down Miaka's face as well did Miyako they were happy to be almost normal again but not quiet. Even though things would be diffrent from now on they wouldn't let anything get in there way of becoming the best alchemists just their parents.

Chapter 2: Repairing Whats Been Broken
After the accident Miaka went to an automailest to get get automail for her arm and leg. From in the hallway you could hear Miaka screaming in pain as she was getting her automail put on. Miyako sat in the hallway still not being able to see she just kept her eyes closed listing to the dreadfull cries of her sister sitting right outside the room she was in. She heard just about everything. "We're gunna have to attacth all your nerves to the automail but yet you seem to be doing quiet well... most people can't stand this part of the process you're a very tough girl." she heard him telling Miaka. Miyako peeked her head in though she still couldn't see but the automailest caught her. "Stay out of the room please" Miyako "eep'd" and pulled her head back out from the door. "Ahhhh son of a bitch!!!!" she heard her sister scream as she could also hear banging from her sister's struggles. Miyako gave a slight cringe at the tought of being fitted with automail. "Must be very painful" she said in a sort of sarcastic yet low voice. Miyako covered her ears trying to block out the sounds of her sister's painful tormented screams she wished she had a pair of earmuffs to put on. Suddenly a litte girl comes walking by with a pair of earmuffs in her hand. "Hewwo yew need these?" she asked Miyako in her cute little voice. Miyako looked around. "Huh where are you?" "Rwight here!" the little girl said tilting her head softly. "Where?" The little girl then poked her side softly. "Here" She then put the handed Miyako the earmuffs and left. Miyako put them on. "Thanks" she called out. The girl looked back and smiled. "Yew ish welcome!" she skipped off happily. After awhile Miyako had nearly drifted off to sleep but not completly.
