Miaka fainted with a shriek. The figure looked over at her eyes closed. When she recognized the Chi as the Miko's she shot her eyes open. They were blue with a rim of gold surrounding them "The priestess has come, but why?" It was a deep relaxed voice. She then turned to face Tasuki and the women. They were still floating, so she gently set them down. The girl fell to the ground. She was still out.

"Arrggghh." Tasuki growled. He was dizzy and holding his head. When the dizziness passed he opened his eyes. He then looked at the figure and his eyes shot open as wide as they could. He was horrified at what he saw. All the warriors were embedded together with the glowing figure. The figure could be seen as a man but in fact was a woman. She wore men's armor that covered her from neck to foot. Her head was the only part not covered in a thick armor that looked of metal but wasn't. It was made of fire and molten rocks. She was floating three feet off the ground with Hotohori out of her right arm, Tamahome was at her neck, it looked as though he were kissing it, Mitsukake was off her left leg, Chiriko was off her left arm, Nuriko was coming out of her chest; Chichiri was off her right leg. "What is this?" Tasuki whispered.

"This is what I need to help you." The figure flatly stated.

"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN BY THAT?" Tasuki screamed at her.

"Please yelling is not needed. The girl beside you had called for me."

Tasuki looked at the girl, then back at the figure. "Who is she and who are you?" Tasuki asked impatiently.

"She is of the tribe that worships Suzaku and only him. Her vows hold her to a temple where she can never leave because she is the virgin that will become his." The figured looked at the girl; she moved her hand towards her. She made her fly into the air. She moved her to in front of Tasuki.

He stared at the girl and then put his arms out. The figure gently laid her in Tasuki's arms. "But what is her name and who are you and what happen?" Tasuki flatly asked. His eyes transfixed on the girl.

"Hmm she is named Voila, which means serenity and the gods. You may call her Winter. She cannot stay at the temple anymore and her name has been taken away. The temple is under siege and we need your help along with the other Suzaku warriors. The Temple can't be destroyed or Suzaku will die. The figure pleadingly said. She floated down a foot.

Tasuki's eyes widened even more. (If possible) "We..."

"SILENCE" She floated the rest of the way down to the ground. The light around her brightened and then slowly disappeared. " As you can see I am Suzaku's wife. She was the spitting image of the girl in Tasuki's arms. Tasuki looked between the two glancing back and forth. "Hmm..." The figure just watched him. "Yes." She stated as Tasuki stared at her long and hard.

Tasuki was in a trance, he just settled at looking at the figure, to see any differences. When she spoke he was brought out of his trance. "You look just like her." Tasuki piped up. He settled his gaze on Winter now. "Why?" He mumbled. He glanced at her and saw she was smiling. He brought his head up to look at her in the eyes. The eyes he saw no longer looked of a gods but held warmth and compassion.

"She is my daughter."

"HUH" Tasuki gasped.

"But contains no god power, for Suzaku is not her father."

"What. Then ho..." Tasuki was cut off.

"I was a simple maiden of this land once." Suzaku chose me to be his wife.

" What he chose a mortal" Tasuki looked horrified.

"Just because I am human dosen't mean that I am unworthy of him. Besides...." She turned her head to the side. "There are not many gods in the land......" She turned her head back and stared hard at Tasuki. "DO NOT THINK THAT BECAUSE I WAS HUMAN THAT YOU CAN DISRESPECT ME LIKE THAT!" The goddess bellowed.

She continued on with her story, her eyes weakened again and showed compassion. She stared at her daughter as she spoke. "But I had already fallen in love with a man. We were not married but we still made love. For when he had asked me to marry him, I had said yes."

"Then why are you Suzaku's wif...." Tasuki spoke harshly. He turned his head and glared at her with a fang almost pircing his lip.

She ignored the question and continued on before he finished. "But Suzaku had come to me a couple days later saying I was the one he wanted for his wife. I could not refuse because I was from the Temple of Suzaku and he would one day choose one of the virgins. I told him of what had happened and that I could be with child. He did not care he still wanted me.

"Why the hell would he want a woman that had not been faithful?" Tasuki said disgustedly.

Her eyes widened with disbelief, then became angry. She waved her arm up and Winter floated out of Tasuki's arms.

"What are you doing she can't stay suspened in air, it will hurt her further." Tasuki yelled at her. He pulled his arms to his sides and brought his eyes to meet the goddess's angry stare.

"What..." The goddess started as her lip quivered. She yanked her head to the side and pushed the tears, that threaten to fall, back. She raised her other arm and focused energy to form around it. A small energy ball appeared. She shot it at Tasuki.

"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?" Tasuki stared at it. He then braced himself for the impact. He crossed his arms in front of his face, ready to try and stop it at the last second. He stood like that for a while. When the blast did not hit him he looked up. It front of him Winter floated with her back to Tasuki. She glowed a fireish color. Her head was down. The blast was floating in front of her. She was repelling it with all the strength she had left.

"NOOOOOOO" The goddess cried. She instantly dissolved the blast. "Why save him?"

She asked in almost a whisper.

"YOU WILL NOT HARM HIM EVER, I WILL NEVER LET YOU. MY AURA SHALL SURROUND HIM ALWAYS. IF I AM EVeR NOT NEAR HIM HE WILL BE SAFE FROM YOU." With that winter fell back wards and landed safely in Tasuki's arms.

" I broke the engagement and ended up being with child. The child could not stay with me for it was not Suzaku's. So he told me to give it to the temple and the rule was then made that the virgins could no longer leave." She put her head down. "He stated that she would stay in the Temple till the day she died. For she could not have a god or a man, for she was not of a marriage and was disowned by her father because I had to except Suzaku's offer."

"Why did you have to except his offer, you were not his to command," Tasuki spouted bitterly.

She put her head down, in shame. "Yes I was his to control, I was of the Temple and unless I was already married and had children , I could not say no to him." She lifted her head.

"GRR," Tasuki growled, he was getting tired of listning to this. He was also stunned that the girl in his arms had saved him. She had tried to run away in fear the night before.

She turned around, tears were in her eyes, and she wanted to hide them. The continued. "I went against Suzaku's orders and saved her. I erased her memories of the Temple life and made her believe that she was an orphan." She paused to look at the sky. "She grew up with a nice family and loved life, but one day Suzaku found out and went after her to tell her what I had made her forget. She was wandering the market looking for things that her family wanted her to buy. Suzaku appeared right in front of her out of engulfed flames. She screamed and ran away."

"Is that why I found her battered and beaten on the street, because she was getting away from someone she didn't know. Tasuki growled with anger.

The goddess turned around, ignoring his question. "She ran into an alley, with Suzaku chasing after her. Somehow he had lost track of her and came back to his home. I was awaiting his return. He scolded me." She fell to her knees and started weeping. "He explained why she was not suppose to leave the Temple. The minute I accepted Suzaku as my husband I became a goddess. My child did as well but sensing it was impossible. If a man found her and had cruel intentions to make her his or anything like that he would instantly fall in love and try anything he could. For she was loved by me enough, so that any man could fall madly in love instantly." The goddess composed herself and stood, she looked at Tasuki with pleading eyes. "But that was not all, he also explained that she holds the key to summoning Suzaku's power."

"WHAT?" Tasuki finally said after the long silence. "What do you mean?"

"If she is not in the Temple when Suzaku is summoned she will die and Suzaku will never be summoned again." The goddess explained

"What, how?" Tasuki tried to stammer out.

"I don't know, he won't tell me." She formed something in her arm, it glowed then became solid. "She has something to do with something stronger than the gods themselves."

"Why do you need the warriors?" Tasuki struggled to see. The light had hurt his eyes.

"Because you are the only ones who can help now." She transferred the object from her arms to Winter. It was some kind of garment. A dress that looked like armor. "I can give the warriors new found strength, well except for you."

"Why?" Tasuki questioned. He moved a step back.

"You have helped her and she has a protecting light around you that I can not penetrate. She wants no harm to come to you. But the others are melded with me to gain their new powers. I will bring them back tomorrow. I must leave…Suzaku must help me. Bye and take car of my daughter please." She rapidly said and then disappeared without a trace.

"Huh" Tasuki was shocked, he looked at the ground, and he saw a bright light out of the side of his vision. He looked up and Miaka was developed in a bright light and disappeared. He stood their stunned.

"Ohh" Winter groaned.

Tasuki looked at her and then raced to his room.
