Hurray! Third chappie! Just so ya know, I'm only writing this fic for the amusement of my friends since no one else seems to like it, but oh well! They don't matter! In this chapter, my friend Neerp's OC, Rem, and my friend Wolf-chan's OC, Roan, will be coming into the mix! Also, two other characters that are based off me and my friend Kevin at some point! Woo! Anyway, i think I forgot to mention this, but I don't own any of the characters from YYH. I don't own Rem, I don't own Roan. I don't own Kevin, but wouldn't mind being able to ^_~. I DO, however, own the characters of Kumiko and Kiki, so no stealy! Any stealing of those characters will lead to a pissed off Iatay-chan! And nobody likes a pissed off Iatay-chan. It's not good for ones health. Natalie's temper was based off mine ^_^
Anywho! On with the fic! Enjoy, and I hope someone else reviews cuz I only got one.

Natalie ran quickly through the thick forest outside of her parents' territory before finding a demon to kill. It was a C class, an easy kill for her, but its powers kept it from dying. Every time she killed it, it revived itself within seconds and was attacking again.
&nbs p; "Damn it... How do I kill you...?" She muttered to herself. "Every demon has a weakness... What's yours?"
A few more minutes go by before the demon is hit by a large ball of fire coming from the trees to the right, "Pick on someone your own class, you twit! She'll kill your ass once she figures out how!"
A small grin lights her face as Natalie calls while blocking a hit from the opposing demon, "Hey, Kiki! Want to help out with this one? He's being a pain in the ass."
"Sure. Kumi! Get out here, we have something to kill!" Kiki calls as the cat demon leaps down from the tree to the ground next to Natalie, soon followed by another cat demon.
"Well? Where's the challenge?" He asks as he looks at the weakling in front of him.
"He can revive himself," Natalie explains as she continues to fight.
Kiki jumps back onto a branch and lays there lazily on her stomache, "Just slice him into tiny pieces, find his point of regeneration, catch it, and crush it. That shouldn't be too hard."
"Hn. Easy for you to say. You're not the one fighting him," She counters as she takes the advice and takes out her rose whip to slice this thing up. Trying to find anything that might indicate the regenerating point, she looks around to find anything different from the rest of the demon's body. At first, nothing stood out, but as the pieces went back together, a small glowing item catches her attention. She grabs it and crushes it slowly. "No more little reviving trick for you, my weak friend. Time to die!"
With that, she slices through him, killing him instantly. A small clap comes from Kiki who was still laying up in the tree, "Was it so hard to figure that on your own, Nat? I mean, every demon has their weakness. That's something you say all the time if I remember right?"
"Yeah, yeah. Shut it, Kiki. So what did you come all this way for? To annoy me while I'm trying to earn my tails?"
"No, we came to wish you happy birthday and give you our preasant," Kumi answered.
"We? Our? You two are beginning to sound like a couple," Nat snorts slightly at the thought.
"We ARE a couple," He replies with a shrug.
"You're WHAT?!"
"We're seeing each other. We're an item, we're going out, dating. Any other synonyms I missed?" Kiki asks with a smirk as she jumps back down from the tree.
Sarcasm becomes you, my feline friend," Natalie retorts. "So when did this happen, and when were you going to tell me?"
"A couple days ago and right now, actually," Kumi answers. "How close are you to getting your next tail, anyway?"
"I have a feeling I'll have it by the next full moon. Oh, and I have soemthing I need to tell you both. Appearantly, when I was born, my parents betrothed me to some prince that lives in the Ningen-kai, and I'm going to marry him in the spring. I only just met him today, and I'm not really sure what to make of him."
"He's a human. What is there to make of him?" Kiki states.
"Strangely enough, he didn't seem like a regular human. He was actually polite, which as you can guess, shocked me to all hells. You know those cute romance novels dad has that always has the guy kiss the girl's hand just before they dance or as they're greeting? He did that. It was the strangest thing I'd ever witnessed, but it was also sort of sweet, I guess."
"Sounds like someone's beginning to like him," Kumi teased a little. "So we get to meet him, right? It's not like you can go through your entire life and not introduce us to him or vice versa. And with how much of a sweetie you're amking him out to be, he's bound to be hott."
"Keep your bi hormones in check, Kumi. You have a girlfriend now!" She teased right back. The three just kind of laugh for a little while before starting back towards Natalie's house.
Once they get there, Kumi and Kiki are met by a smiling Kurama who brings them inside. Kumi hands Nat their preasant and watch as she opens it to find a silver ring with little sapphires forming a cresent moon.
"Thank you both, it's beautiful," She responds as she puts it on and Boushin walks into the room, looking around. "Oh! Boushin! This is Kumiko and Kiki. Kiki, Kumi, this is Boushin."
They all give little smiles and greet each other while Nat wonders how well she and Boushin could get along if she actually tried. /Hm. I'll just have to try, I guess. What could it hurt?/
Kumi glances at her and sends her his thoughts. And you get to MARRY him? Lucky.
/Should Kiki hear these thoughts as well, Kumi?/ She responds with a little smirk.
She wouldn't mind. He really is hott.
Natalie just chuckles and turns back to Boushin, "Would you like to join us? We're just talking about random things if you'd like to jump into the conversation any time."
He nods with a small smile and sits down next to Natalie," So what are we talking about right now?"
"Nothing much. They just gave me my preasant from them," She replies, showing him the ring.
They talk for a little while about pretty much anything they can think of before they hear the front door open. Natalie stands up to see who came in. She dashes into the main hall and smiles, "Rem, Roan! It's been a while."
Rem smiles and looks down at his 'neice', "Hey, Nat. How're you doing?"
"I'm fine, how're you both?"
Roan grins and notes, "We came upon a demon on our way here. The only thing that kept us from worrying about being attacked is that it was already dead."
Natalie lets a little smirk grace her features, "He was easy to kill after I figured out how to stop him from fucking regenerating."
That brings a chuckle from both the long haired men before Rem adds, "Happy birthday, Nat. We're planning on staying here for a while since Youko tolds us a few of our friends are staying for a while."
"Yes, they are. Oh! I almost forgot about the others!" She remembers while smacking her forehead. "C'mon. I don't think you've met Kiki or Kumi yet, and I'm not sure whether or not you know Boushin..."
"Hoto's kid? Yeah, we know him. Ummmm... Your dad told that you're..." Rem started before being cut off.
"Betrothed to him? Yes, they both did."
"And how are you getting along with him so far?" Roan inquired gently. "I hope you're at least making an effort to be nice. I know it's not the best arrangment, but just remember that he's probably nervous as hell waiting to see whether or not you'll accept him."
Raising an eyebrow as she leads them into the other room she asks, "How would you know this? You would have had to know him for a long time to be able to tell. And yes, I am making an effort, but only because he seems genuinely sweet." She adds with a small smile.
As the three enter the room, Boushin stands and smiles, "Hello Rem, Roan. It's nice to see you both again."
"Likewise, M'lord," Roan answers with his usual politeness.
"How many times do I need to tell you that you don't need to call me lord under any circumstances?"
"You can say it 'til you're blue in the face, but that won't change him at all," Rem replies with a grin. "Can't knock the manners out of him no matter how hard you try."
The silver-haired Crystal Wing just smiles and sits down next to Rem and Boushin, "We have our preasant to give to you, Natalie, but first, where are Kurama and Hiei? I think we should probably ask them if what we got you is alright with them first. Of course, when Rem picked it out, I don't think he was thinking that they'd object in any way."
"Of course they won't! This little one's got them wrapped around her finger! If she asks and uses her little perfected puppy dog look and they can't say no, can they, Nat?"
She smiles a little and shakes her head, "No, they can't, but I try not to take advantage of that TOO much. What is it that you got me, anyway?"
Rem wags a finger at her and gives one of his silly grins, "Nuh uh. Not telling until we talk to them, so the sooner you find them for us, the sooner you find out."
This gets a pout before Nat uses the speed she got from Hiei to dash off with a small displacement of air. Boushin looks at the spot she was in not five seconds ago with wide eyes, "Wow."
"That's nothing. You should see her fight. It's like having one of Hells creations on your side, especially when she's pissed off at someone for doing something. And she's one of the best thieves out there. She was constantly swiping Hiei's headband right off his head without him noticing," Roan states as a smile graces his features.
With a little woosh of air, Natalie returns with Hiei, and Kurama not too far behind, "Found them!"
"Yes, she did. Hello Rem, hi Roan," Kurama greets with a small bow of his head.
"Hey, Kura! Long time, no see!" Rem answers, wrapping both him and Hiei up in a fierce hug.
"Rem! You're cutting off my air supply!" Hiei states as he wriggles free from the human's grip.
That earns a chuckle from the other three men, and Rem loosens his vise on the two, "Sorry 'bout that, Hiei. I've missed you both."
"And we've missed you, too, Rem. You as well, Roan. Hiei just doesn't like to show it," Kurama smiles sweetly and ruffles the aforementions fire demon's hair a little, earning a small huff from the shorter. "What did you need us for, anyway? Natalie said something about a birthday preasant and asking, but she was talking a bit fast."
"We wanted to ask you about our preasant to her before we actually give it to her. It's seems that someone got it before thinking that there might be a problem with getting it for her," Roan answers with a reproving look towards Rem who just gives him a sheepish grin.
"Well, then what is it?" Hiei asks, curious himself to see what Rem got that Roan obviously thought would be a problem with him and Kurama. "Follow us and we can talk about it without the younger ears. Natalie, if you even think about listening in, you won't be allowed to train until after the next full moon, got it?"
The younger kitsune gives a little pout before nodding, "Yes, daddy. I promise I'll stay out here." He smiles and pets her on the head before turning and walking out with the other three. About five seconds after they left, Natalie goes over to the closed door and places her ear against it, trying to hear what they're saying. "Damn... They went too far for me to hear..."
"It's probably for the best seeing as your dad said you wouldn't be allowed to train until AFTER the full moon. That would suck to have to wait a whole nother month," Kiki replies with a swish of her tail.
"Why? What's the big deal about the full moon?" Boushin asks cluelessly.
"The full moon is when I can get my next tail if I've become strong enough," Natalie answers patiently. "And daddy knowing that I'm really close to being able to get my third one this month sees it as a very easy to use threat not to let me finish my requirements until after this full moon and make me wait until next month."
"Oh. That doesn't sound like much fun. Having to wait for each month to go by."
"Actually, it usually takes a few years to earn my next one, so that one month wouldn't be much compaired to the four years it took me to become strong enough to earn this third tail."
The door opens again to reveal the other four, Rem coming in last with something being held behind his back. He walks up to Natalie and smiles before beginning, "I convinced your father that you could take care of this on your own, so you'd better live up to my word or I'll be sorely disappointed, ok?"
She nods happily and waits to see what's hidden behind her friend's back. He brings it forward to reveal a small silver fox. Letting out a little squeak and hugging it to her she looks up at Rem with happiness shinning in her eyes and gives him a huge hug, "Thank you both! He's so cute! I'll make sure to take good care of him."
The others smile fondly at her and Roan asks, "What are you going to name him? I don't think you'll get very far without him having a name to be addressed by."
Thinking for a moment, she strokes the small creature as it nuzzles her hand, "Umm... I'm going to call him... Hmm..... I think I'll name him Aisu." She finally decides, still petting him.
"Aisu sounds like a pretty name," Kiki replies, going over to pet the little kitsune only to have it growl at her.
"Now, now. Be nice," Natalie gently repremands him with a tap to his nose. He looks up at her innocently then looks back to Kiki and tilting his head, sniffing at her a little before resigning himself and letting her pet him. Nat smiles and scratches behind his ears. "Good boy. How long are you and Roan going to be here, Rem?"
"We decided that we're going to stay here as long as the Seishi do. Visiting Hong-nan would be pretty boring without anyone there to visit, don't you think?"
"So then you'll both be here until sometime after next spring. That's when Natalie and I are getting married and after we're going back to Hong-nan. I hope you don't mind having to live in the human world, Natalie...." Boushin adds a little softly to her as he finishes his statement.
She seems to consider this for a moment before shrugging, "There's not much I can do to prevent it, and either way, it should prove to be interesting. Plus, with the ningen tendency to use locks instead of magic to protect their things, I can proactice my lock picking skills."
Kumi decides that now would be a good time to say something and adds with a little smirk, "Plus I think she's beginning to like you. It's not often she'd just roll over and accept something that she doesn't really want to do. There are only a select few that she does that for."
This earns him a half glare from the kitsune as she grumbles and mutters to herself, "Do not...."
Boushin looks a bit taken aback at her saying that she doesn't like him, but shrugs it off as Kiki retorts, "Do too. Now shut up and stop trying to deny it. You need an actual relationship." She then turns to Boushin and adds, "Perhaps you can keep her from killing off a good majority of the people who're very likely to piss her off in the Ningen-kai. And don't worry, she really does like you. It'll just take her a little while to truly warm up to you."
"Yes, she's like a certain fire demon I know...." Rem also adds with a glance at Hiei.
"Hn," Natalie and Hiei both say at the same time, causing Kurama to smile at his husband and daughter.
Nat looks out the window, "It's getting dark out. I'm going to train for a little while longer before I go to bed."
She flits out the window and Boushin watches her, thinking about everything the others said about Natalie. He also tries to think about her acting any differently and shakes his head. /She's quite tempremental, but it suits her./ He thinks to himself before standing and going to his room.

He looks up at her innocently then looks back to Kiki and tilting his head, sniffing at her a little before resigning himself and letting her pet him. Nat smiles and scratches behind his ears. "Good boy. How long are you and Roan going to be here, Rem?"
"We decided that we're going to stay here as long as the Seishi do. Visiting Hong-nan would be pretty boring without anyone there to visit, don't you think?"
"So then you'll both be here until sometime after next spring. That's when Natalie and I are getting married and after we're going back to Hong-nan. I hope you don't mind having to live in the human world, Natalie...." Boushin adds a little softly to her as he finishes his statement.
She seems to consider this for a moment before shrugging, "There's not much I can do to prevent it, and either way, it should prove to be interesting. Plus, with the ningen tendency to use locks instead of magic to protect their things, I can proactice my lock picking skills."
Kumi decides that now would be a good time to say something and adds with a little smirk, "Plus I think she's beginning to like you. It's not often she'd just roll over and accept something that she doesn't really want to do. There are only a select few that she does that for."
This earns him a half glare from the kitsune as she grumbles and mutters to herself, "Do not...."
Boushin looks a bit taken aback at her saying that she doesn't like him, but shrugs it off as Kiki retorts, "Do too. Now shut up and stop trying to deny it. You need an actual relationship." She then turns to Boushin and adds, "Perhaps you can keep her from killing off a good majority of the people who're very likely to piss her off in the Ningen-kai. And don't worry, she really does like you. It'll just take her a little while to truly warm up to you."
"Yes, she's like a certain fire demon I know...." Rem also adds with a glance at Hiei.
"Hn," Natalie and Hiei both say at the same time, causing Kurama to smile at his husband and daughter.
Nat looks out the window, "It's getting dark out. I'm going to train for a little while longer before I go to bed."
She flits out the window and Boushin watches her, thinking about everything the others said about Natalie. He also tries to think about her acting any differently and shakes his head. /She's quite tempremental, but it suits her./ He thinks to himself before standing and going to his room.

&n bsp; Woo! That was the third chappie! I made it long to make my Stephy friend happy since she's letting me use Rem. I'm gonna have her and Wolf-chan write up bios for Rem and Roan for the next chappie so you can find out a bit about them. It might help explain A LOT of things that would otherwise be very confusing. I tried to keep the confusing things outta this chappie, but I'm not sure I kept it all out. So if anything about the two confused you, just wait til the next chappie and all should be explained. Though if you read the fic by the authoress NeerP, that goes by the title "The Long Awaited History of Rem" then you should be all set for any confuzzling Remmie things.
